TO THE HATERS OF THE SAHAABAH IN OUR MIDST
“ MY SAHAABAH !
BEWARE OF ALLAH ! BEWARE OF ALLAH !”
وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُغَفَّلٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «اَللهَ اَللهَ فِي أَصْحَابِي لَا تَتَّخِذُوهُمْ غَرَضًا مِنْ بَعْدِي فَمَنْ أَحَبَّهُمْ فَبِحُبِّي أَحَبَّهُمْ وَمَنْ أَبْغَضَهُمْ فَبِبُغْضِي أَبْغَضَهُمْ وَمَنْ آذَاهُمْ فَقَدْ آذَانِي وَمَنْ آذَانِي فَقَدْ آذَى اللهَ وَمَنْ آذَى اللهَ فَيُوشِكُ أَنْ يَأْخُذَهُ»
TRANSLATION:
Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam said:
“Beware of Allah! Beware of Allah regarding my Sahaabah. Do not make them a target (for your hate and abuse) after me. (Know that) Whoever loves them, loves them because (they have) love for me, and whoever hates them, hates them because they hate me.
Whoever causes distress to them (i.e. my Sahaabah) verily he has distressed me. Whoever distresses me, verily he has distressed Allah. Thus whoever distresses Allah, soon will He apprehend and punish him.
