GUIDANCE FOR THE FOLLOWERS OF THE HAQQ
Question
Since there will be Eid on different days in South Africa, what should I do? I follow the Ulama-e-Haq of The Majlisul Ulama. However, I live in a town where most of the community follows the NNB jamiat (the so-called Jamiatul Ulama S.A.). What should the handful of us do regarding Eid Salaat? In our Musjid all the Covid protocols propagated by the NNB jamiat are observed. The few of us perform our daily Fardh and Jumuah at a friend’s home.
Answer
Do the very same with Eid Salaat. Like Jumuah Salaat, perform it at the friend’s home. Do not join the haraam congregation in their mock ‘salaat’.
Question: How many musallis are necessary for Eid Salaat to be valid?
Answer: The same as Jumuah: three muqtadis and an imaam. The conditions for the validity of Eid Salaat are the same as those for Jumuah.
