EID IN NEIGHBOURING COUNTRIES
A brother writes:
“The sighting of the moon was confirmed last night in Botswana, Malawi, Zambia and Zimbabwe. However, here in South Africa, there is a dispute. While the Mujlisul Ulama has declared that today is 1st Zul Hijjah, the liberal ulama have not accepted. Thus, there will be Eid on Friday and Saturday in South Africa. Please comment on this confusion.
COMMENT
We do not follow the neighbouring countries. Although the deviates of the NNB jamiat have always clamoured for unity of Eid with the neighbouring countries, they are not at all pleased that Eid in these countries will be on the same day as announced by the Mujlisul Ulama of S.A.
The confusion is the satanism of the deviates and Munaafiq molvis among whom the Reverend Abraham Bham is the leader. Muslims who are following these Munaafiq deviates assign no importance to the Deen. The word of non-Muslims is not valid in matters of Shariah import. Reverend Bham is a Munaafiq – worse than a normal non-Muslim. He excels in misdeeds of fisq, fujoor, bid’ah and kufr. Insha-Allah, we shall explain more on this issue.
