After we had published our findings pertaining to the fake ‘zam zam’ which is being sold in South Africa, the Brother from M.Y.Trading explained that they were innocently duped into believing that the water was Zam Zam. The following is the statement of M.Y.Trading who has now discontinued selling the fake water:
M.Y Trading would like to express our humble apologies to the public for unknowingly selling Zam Zam which is not Authentic.
After having seen the claim made against M.Y Trading, I have approached Ml AS to seek assistance in the matter as dealing dishonestly is something that we will never do. I provided all documentation and proof from my supplier which indicates that the water is indeed being shipped into our country directly from Saudi Arabia. It is only now after digging deep with the help of Ml AS that the issue came to light. Sadly we in South Africa have all been fooled as what was imported was a product of the Saudi Scammers.
