14 October 2025 al haq bulletin QUESTION 14th August was Pakistan's Independence Day. It is when everyone - including 'Ulama' - reveal their nationalistic, pro- Pakistan, bootlicking views and spread confusion among the masses. A modernist in Deeni guise implied that there is an Islami- cally valid Sultan in Pakistan. He used Hakeem Akhtar Sa- heb's statements to bolster his claim. The relevant quotes from Hakeem Akhtar's bayaan have been copied, and the transcription of his national- istic, pro-Pakistan bayaan 'Islaami Mamlikat Ki Qadar wa Qeemat' (which was given on 14th August - which is the 'Independence' Day of Paki- stan) is attached. Hakeem Akhtar Saheb said the follow- ing, where he quotes a saying of Hadhrat Thanvi to bolster his nationalistic claims: “Pakistan is an Islamic State I am now answering one more issue. Some people think that although such a long time has lapsed since the formation of Pakistan, Islamic law has not yet been promulgated. Therefore, it is not known if this is an Islamic state or not? Some people also ask that if one „s life is given in defence of an inch of Pakistan, will one attain the rank of sha- haadat or not? I shall an- swer both these questions. Furthermore, I shall proffer such an answer which all the Ulama of the whole world will have to accept. Molvi Shabbeer Ali Mar- hoom who was the nephew of Hakeemul Ummat, the Muhtamim of Khaanqah Thanabovand said to me that Hakeemul Ummat Mujaddid- e-Millat Hadhrat Maulana Ashraf Ali Thanvi (Rahmatullah alayh) had said immature Ahl-e-Ilm are under the impression that a (Continued on page 5) BULLETIN No. 78 Rabiul Aakhir 1447 / October 2025 PO BOX 3393 - PORT ELIZABETH - 6056 - SOUTH AFRICA THE BAND OF HAQ “There will ever remain a band from my Ummah fighting on the Haq until the Day of Qiyaamah. Those who oppose them and those who do not aid them, will not be able to harm them.” (Hadith) Question I have recently been to India and visited some Darul Ulooms. When I went to one specific big Darul Uloom, the library on its main desk on which those in-charge sit and carry out their work - had the Indian flag. I couldn't understand that after having so much of ki- taabs and Ilm and Deen how was it possible to have the flag of the Hindu mushrikeen on the desk? Furthermore, some Ulama even post the flag with much pride. So instead of preventing people from having any re- gards for this, they are in fact doing the same despite their knowledge and understanding. I was actually shocked to see (Continued on page 4) ―O People of Imaan! Remem- ber the Favour of Allah on you when the armies (of the kuffaar) approached you. Then We sent against them a wind and troops which you could not see, Allah sees what you are doing.‖ (And remember) when they (the kuffaar armies) ap- proached you from above you and from below you, and when the eyes were bewil- dered and the hearts reached (Continued on page 10) AL-HAQ BULLETIN 78 Page 2 Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: ―We do not bestow leader- ship to any one who applies for it and who has a desire for it.‖ Hadhrat Maulana Ashraf Ali Thanvi (Rahmatullah alayh) commenting on the evil lust for leadership, said: Regarding leadership in this world, it is mentioned in the Hadith that whoever rules even over ten people will be dragged on the Day of Qiyaamah to give an account of his reign even though he will be released later (i.e. if he had ruled with justice). However, nowadays people pursue and strive for becoming leaders and rulers, and they squander money in this pur- suit. Who is qualified to be a rul- er/leader? Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: ―Rulers are of three classes. Two will be in the fire and one in Jannat.‖ The one will be an Aalim ba Aml (a practising Aalim). Minus these attributes, there is only corruption and injustice. A condition is also not to re- quest or apply for leadership. He who is self-conceited and selfish hankers after leader- ship. He will acquit himself in subservience to his nafs. His focus will not be on the wel- fare of the people. Hadhrat Uthmaan (radhiyallahu anhu) requested Hadhrat Ibn Umar (radhiyallahu anhu) to accept the post of Qadhi. But he re- fused. Hadhrat Uthmaan (radhiyallahu anhu) implored him not to mention his refusal to others for the fear of them also declining. This incident demonstrates the attitude of the Sahaabah regarding leader- ship. The people of the dunya are in reality floundering in considerable hardship and punishment (in hankering after leadership). THE EVIL OF BID’AH Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: ―Verily, Allah denies Taubah to every person of bid‘ah.‖ ―The worst of things is innovation (bid‘ah). Every bid‘ah is deviation.‖ Commenting on the evil consequence of Bid‘ah, Hadhrat Maulana Ashraf Ali Thanvi (Rahmatullah alayh) said: ―It is truly amazing that the hearts of even kuffaar are not so terribly disfigured as are the hearts of the people of Bid‘ah.‖ The brains of the people of Bid‘ah become imbalanced, dark and putrid. Thus, they are unable to distinguish between right and wrong- Haqq and baatil. THE DECEPTION OF POLITICAL LEADERS ―The vociferous slogans of political leaders are nothing but deception designed for self-aggrandizement. They seek to project an image of fearlessness for the rulers. Be- ing short-sighted they think that this is courage. This is pure deception. It is indeed surprising that they profess no fear for rulers who possess coercive power while they are overwhelmed by the nafs which lacks coercive power in entirety. They are unable to restrain or oppose the nafs in its demands for liquor, forni- cation, shaving the beard, etc., but they are able to oppose the government. This is a snare of the nafs. They have no rela- tionship with obedience (to Allah Ta‘ala) and virtue.‖ (Hadhrat Maulana Ashraf Ali Thanvi) ALLAH IS NOT OBLIVIOUS “Never think that Allah is ghaafil (oblivious/unaware) of the deeds of the zaalimoon (oppressors). He is only granting them respite....” (Ibraaheem, Aayat 42) Allah Azza Wa Jal is not unaware of the massacres, bru- tality and genocide being committed in Palestine by the Yahood and Nasaara. On the contrary, He is allowing the savages to wildly perpetrate their barbarism and brutality. It is subject to His Wisdom and Decree. The time will come when He will appre- hend them. ―Indeed, His ap- prehension is pain- ful.‖ (Qur‘aan) Allah Ta‘ala sees, hears, knows and has power over everything. Nothing happens without His decree. AL-HAQ BULLETIN 78 Page 3 The basis of Nusrat (Allah‘s help) and Fatah (victory) is not numerical inferiority or superi- ority. The basis is the Ridha (Pleasure) of Allah Ta‘ala. This is what Muslims should always bear in mind. His Pleasure should be cultivated. Then if there is success/ victory, express shukr (gratitude). If there is failure, adopt sabr (patience). Hadhrat Khaalid Bin Waleed (Radhiyallahu anhu) had se- lected 30 Sahaabah to oppose an army of 60,000 kuffaar. Hadhrat Abu Ubaidah (Radhiyallahu anhu) com- mented: ―Do you want to de- stroy the Ummah of Muham- mad (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam)?‖ Hadhrat Khaalid (Radhiyallahu anhu) then in- creased the number to 60. That is one against a thousand. They were such illustrious Souls who had no regard for numerical inferiority and supe- riority. More than a dozen Is- raeli ex-security chiefs call for end of war on Gaza At least 18 former chiefs of Israel‘s security agencies, in- cluding Mossad, the Shin Bet, the Israeli army and police, have called for an end to the war on Gaza. In a video shared on social media, the former senior offi- cials say the war has resulted in limited military gains, fail- ing to bring the remaining cap- tives home. They also said the 22-month war has inflicted se- vere reputational damage on Israel and could have ended a long time ago. ―This war stopped being a just war. This is leading the state of Israel to the loss of its secu- rity and its identity,‖ said Ami Ayalon, a former head of the domestic intelligence service Shin Bet. ―We are on the precipice of defeat,‖ said Tamir Pardo, a former chief of the spy agency Mossad. ―No matter how good the army is, a war with no po- litical goal is a guarantee of defeat.‖ Amos Malka, a former mili- tary intelligence chief, said it‘s been more than a year ―past the point where we could have ended the war with a sufficient operational achievement‖. Instead, ―we are now mostly offsetting losses,‖ ex-Shin Bet director Nadav Argaman can be heard as saying. There were many of the ear- ly Fuqaha, Mufassireen, Mu- jtahideen -- Ulama of former times, who were socially of low rank. Some were even slaves who were set free. Thereafter they pursued the path of Ilm. They acquired Ilm. The effect of true Ilm, if one makes amal (practices) on this Ilm, is ta- waadhu‘ (humility). Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: ―Whoever adopts tawaadhu‘ for the sake of Allah, Allah will elevate him.‖ Majority opinion as is the dic- tate of democracy is not valid. In this era, democracy has been elevated to the status of the Qiblah and Ka‘bah. As proof (for this fallacy) they cite the Qur‘aanic Aayat: ―And consult them in affairs.‖ To clinch this issue, is the amal (practice) of the Sahaa- bah. No one understood the Qur‘aan better than them. Hadhrat Abu Bakr (Radhiyallahu anhu) had re- solved to wage Jihad against those who refused to pay Zakaat. Despite all the Sahaa- bah advising against it, Ha- dhrat Siddique Akbar Abu Bakr (Radhiyallahu anhu) is- sued the decree of Jihad. All accepted. AL-HAQ BULLETIN 78 Page 4 the post in which the flag openly being displayed on Da- rul Deoband on the 15 August with pride. The Indian flag has a circle in the middle. This circle is called the Ashoka Chakra which is based on the Bud- dhist religion. There are 24 spokes on the circle. The 12 spokes represent the Buddha's teachings, while the other 12 are paired with their equiva- lent symbols. Indians even Muslims show great honour to this flag and display it with pride especially on the 15 August and 26 Janu- ary. It feels that they give more izzzat (honour) to their country than Islam itself and if not, then in the least they keep it equal to Islam. It seems like a poisonous disease. I fail to understand how Ulama have been pulled into this and hardly any Aalim speaks regarding it, actually they speak for it. Mufti Saab is it permissible to display or honour this flag in anyway and also does it fall under nationalism and what is the solution to this? Please comment. Answer and Comment How can the commission of shirk ever be permissible? The haraam bootlicking by Muslims of India, including the Ulama, is the effect of gross Imaani deficiency. Ab- ject fear for the Hindus has constrained Muslims to act like Hindus. Their extremely defective Imaani state has made halaal for them even acts of shirk and kufr. Obviously, displaying the Hindu flag of shirk and kufr is a major sin. But fear has com- pelled Muslims, including the Ulama, to submit to the evil demands of the ruling Hindu cow and idol worshippers. While they justify their sub- mission to kufr and shirk on the basis of their fear for Hin- du oppression and brutality, they remain oblivious of the cause of their Imaani deficien- cy and the fear which has overwhelmed them. They fear the Hindus more than fear for Allah Ta‘ala. In fact, their fear for Allah Ta‘ala is practically non-existent. The inordinate fear they have for the mushrikeen is ac- tually a punishment of Allah Ta‘ala for the treachery of Muslims. In this regard, Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: ―Allah will most certainly eliminate fear for you from the hearts of your enemy and He will instil wahan in your hearts.‖ The kuffaar will dominate and devour the Ummah. It was in this context that Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) had made this statement. A Sahaabi queried: ―O Rasulullah! Will it be on ac- count of our small number on that day?‘ Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) responded: ―On the contrary, you will be numerous, but you will be ghutha (rubbish) such as the rubbish of floodwaters.‖ The wahan mentioned refers to ‗love of the world and aver- sion for Maut‘. It is this love for wahan that has made Mus- lims bootlickers of the kuffaar. Their focus is totally diverted from Allah Ta‘ala. They be- lieve that their honour and safety are ensconced in boot- licking the Hindu mushrikeen and the western kuffaar – the Yahood and Nasaara. That is why they honour the Hindu flag of shirk. They are like the Munaafiqeen who search for honour and protection from the kuffaar. “Give the tidings (warning) to the Munaafiqeen that for them, most certainly is a pain- ful punishment. They are those who take the kuffaar as friends besides the Mu‟mi- neen. Do they search for izzat (honour) from them (the kuffaar)? (Let them know) that all Izzat belongs to only Allah.” (An-Nisaa‟, Aayat 138, 139) The day Muslims understand that only Allah Ta‘ala is their Succour, Helper and Protector, they will then submit to His Deen. Then all fear for the shadows will disappear like mirages. However, currently the Muslim bootlickers do not have the haziest idea of the meaning of the Nusrat (Help) of Allah Ta‘ala. Thus, they come within the purview of the Qur‘aanic Aayat: ―You will see those in whose hearts there is a disease (i.e. the disease of kufr and nifaaq), racing into them (i.e. bootlick- ing them). (Then they justify their boot- licking), saying: ‗We fear a (Continued from page 1) (Continued on page 6) AL-HAQ BULLETIN 78 Page 5 land where there are Mus- lim rulers is not an Islamic state if Islamic Law is not implemented, and Nauthubil- lah!, such a country should be given to the kuffaar. In other words, it will be okay if kuffaar conquer such a country because it is not an Islamic state.” In response to this, Hadhrat Hakeemul Ummat Mujaddid-e -Millat Hadhrat Maulana Ashraf Ali Thanvi (Rahmatullah alayh) said: “Listen to the definition of an Islamic state.” The newspapers should in fact publish this Shar‟i meaning of an Islamic state, and it should also be published in books. He (Hadhrat Thanvi) said: “This is the definition of an Islamic state: If the rulers are Muslims who do have the power to promulgate Islamic Law, then regardless of how great sinners they may be, that country will be an Islam- ic State according to Islamic Law even if the Muslim Ameerul Mu‟mineen or the Sultan does not implement Islamic Law due to fear for the super powers or to the treachery of his own populace or because of his own Imaani weakness or human weak- ness. However, since he does have the power to implement Islamic Law, hence on the basis of this power the coun- try will be an Islamic state.” All the rulers of Pakistan to this day had and do have the power to implement Islamic Law. Therefore, Pakistan is an Islamic state, hence the one who gives his life to de- fend even one inch of the land, he will be a sha- heed.” (End of Hakeem Akhtar‟s bayaan) Answer While Pakistan is a Muslim country, it is never an Islamic state. The idea of there being a valid Sultan (or Ameerul Mu‘mineen) in Pakistan is laughably ludicrous, prepos- terous and utterly baseless. An Islamic State is a coun- try governed by the Shariah – the Law of Allah Ta‘ala, not the law of Taaghoot. For a country to qualify as an Is- lamic state, the Shariah being its Law is an imperative req- uisite. The fundamental basis of an Islamic State is the Law of the Qur‘aan. How can a country be described as an Is- lamic state when its official law is KUFR law, western law, the law of Taaghoot? Yes, it is conceded that the fisq and fujoor of the Sultan/ Ameerul Mu‘mineen does not cancel the Islamic status of the country. But, when the law of Taaghoot is the official law of the country ---- when the Shariah has been can- celled and substituted with western kufr law, then most assuredly, the country will not be an Islamic state re- gardless of the populace being Muslim. It will remain a Mus- lim country, but never an Is- lamic state. When the so-called Muslim courts of the country override the Shariah and adjudicate strictly in accord with western kufr law, then such a country can never be an Islamic state. No one claims that a Mus- lim country should be handed to the kuffaar or that Muslims should not defend the Muslim land because it is not an Is- lamic state. In fact, we say that if the kuffaar attack even the kufr state of Iran, then the Muslim countries have the duty of aiding Iran. This is entirely a different issue. As long as the official law of the land is the Shariah, the country will be an Islamic State. Today, only Afghani- stan is an Islamic State albeit extremely weak. The issues should not be confused. One issue is the Islamic state, which Pakistan is not. The other issue is defending Paki- stan against the kuffaar. That is Waajib. The rulers of Pakistan are not Muslims. They are mur- taddeen. They have abrogated, cancelled and thrown out the Shariah. They have substituted the Qur‘aan with western kuffaar law. Their beliefs are corrupt and kufr. How can a country‘s legal, executive and judicial systems ever be de- scribed as Islamic when the entire satanic governmental organization is in diametric conflict with the Shariah of the Qur‘aan and Sunnah? How can a government be said to be Islamic when it detests and despises the Shariah – when it abrogates the entire Shariah and substitutes it with kufr western law – the law of Taaghoot? (Continued from page 1) (Continued on page 6) AL-HAQ BULLETIN 78 Page 6 When it is said that Paki- stan, or Egypt or Saudi Ara- bia, etc. are not Islamic states, it means nothing more than stating the truth, viz., that these regimes are murtad; that these regimes are not Islamic; that these regimes are satanic; that these regimes govern by the law of Taaghoot; that these regimes have brutally kicked out and extinguished the Sha- riah; that these regimes have preferred western kuffaar law over the Law of Allah Azza Wa Jal, the immutable Shari- ah stemming from the Qur‘aan and the Sunnah. How can it be said that Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and the like are Islamic states when they fine Muslims who per- form Salaat? Muslims have to conceal even the copies of the Qur‘aan Majeed. They ban Hi- jaab. In fact they have banned the entire Shariah, yet the ille- gitimate progeny of Iblees, the rulers, claim to be Muslim! By saying that Pakistan and the other Muslim countries are not Islamic states, it never means that Muslims should not defend the lands of Muslims when attacked by the kuffaar. The only rubbish devils who have made such a claim are the Swami/Pundit molvis of Ja- miatul Ulama Hind who had declared war against Hadhrat Jibraeel (Alayhis salaam) on the recent occasion when the cow worshippers, cow urine drinkers and idol worshippers of India had attacked Paki- stan. According to the Swamis and Pundit molvis of Jamiatul Ulama Hind, defending the land of the mushrikeen is ‗jihad‘ and the status of ‗shaheed‘ is acquired for fighting and perishing in de- fence of the idols and mush- rikeen. There is no accommo- dation for such Rubbish in Is- lam. Conclusion Question: Is Pakistan an Is- lamic state? Answer: No, never! Paki- stan is governed by mur- taddeen and the law of the land is the law of Taaghoot. The Shariah has been displaced and substituted with western kufr law. In this regard, the Qur‘aan Majeed states: “Whoever does not adjudi- cate according to that (Law) which Allah has revealed, verily they are indeed kaafiroon.” (Al-Maaidah, Aayat 44) (Continued from page 5) THE DESIRE FOR MAUT Haafiz Dhaamin (rahmatullah alayh) mentioning his over- whelming desire for death, added that since this condition was in conflict with the Sun- nah, he feared it being evil. Haaji Imdaadullah (rahmatullah alayh) who was his Shaikh, said: ―I inform you of the good tid- ing that Allah Ta‘ala has be- stowed to you the stage of Wilaayat (Sainthood / His Proximity). The evil of wish- ing for maut refers to difficul- ty (pain, grief, worry). It is reprehensible to wish for maut on account of hardship.‖ Hadhrat added: ―The wish for maut which is motivated by eagerness to meet Allah Ta‘ala is a sign of Wilaayat. This is borne out by the aayat: “If you think that you are the friends of Allah to the exclusion of other people, then wish for maut...” (Hadhrat Maulana Ashraf Ali Thanvi) calamity May befall us (if we do not bootlick the Hindus, Yahood and Nasaara).‖ (Al-Maaidah, Aayat 52) This is precisely the think- ing of the molvis of Jamiatul Ulama Hind and the molvis of the Darul Ulooms, hence they fear a calamity from the Hindu mushrikeen if they do not bootlick them by honouring their flags of shirk. The only way of eliminating this inordi- nate fear for the mushrikeen and kuffaar is to revert to the original Sunnah of the Sahaa- bah. Then Allah Ta‘ala will in- stil such vibrant and powerful Roohaaniyat in their hearts, which will classify them to come within the scope of the Aayat: ―They do not fear the reproach of those who insult (and threaten).‖ (Al-Maaidah, Aayat 54) (Continued from page 4) AL-HAQ BULLETIN 78 Page 7 ―Do not become weak (cowardly) nor grieve. You shall be victorious if indeed you are Mu‘mineen.‖ (Aal-e-Imraan, Aayat 139) The Ummah has become extremely weak in Imaan. The victory mentioned in the Aayat is for those who are true Mu‘mineen. The global defeat of the Ummah sprawling in disgrace at the boots of the kuffaar is the consequence of either extreme Imaani defi- ciency or lack of Imaan – Imaan destroyed by the adoption of fisq, fujoor and kufr. Among the ways of deviation of the deviated molvis is to resort to zanaadaqah (heresay) and deviation by the mismanipulation of Fiqhi technicalities. Resort to Fiqhi technicalities is valid in only cases and circumstances of need. Adoption of technicalities is not a norm, and may not be presented as a basis for deviating from the standard/ normal way of the Sunnah. For example, one may not perform Salaat with only the Satr covered without valid reason. One may not go to the Musjid with the entire body exposed and with only the bare Satr requisite being fulfilled. Nor, may one perform Salaat in this manner even in the privacy of one‘s home. The Satr technicality is not a norm. Observance of only the technicality by discarding the Sunnah method is deviation and sinful. The Salaat is not valid for maqbooliyat (acceptance and reward) despite its technical validity. The juhala molvis and the zigzag muftis have buried the Sunnah in festering mounds of technicalities. KHILAAFAT On the issue of Khilaafat, Hadhrat Maulana Ashraf Ali Thanvi (Rahmatullah alayh) said: Khilaafat belongs exclu- sively to the Quraish. A non- Quraishi ruler will be called Sultaan. But obedience to both is waajib. Although appoint- ment of a khalifah is compul- sory, ability / power to appoint is a condition for this wujoob (compulsion). Presently this power is lacking, therefore no one is sinful for the absence of a khalifah. (This position has changed in recent years. During Ha- dhrat‘s era, all Muslim lands were under foreign kuffaar domination. The present Saudi authority—the King—is under Shar‘i obligation to appoint a Khalifah from the Quraish tribe. He possesses the power to do so. Those who possess this power, but refrain from the wujoob of appointing a Khalifah are the transgressors and sinners—translator). The view that a non- Quraishi can become a Kha- lifah, is in conflict with the Hadith (―The Imaams are from the Quraish‖). When this had- ith was presented to the An- saar (the Sahaabah of Madi- nah ), they accepted it. Thus, there exists Ijmaa‘ (consensus) of the Sahaabah on this issue. Those who have political pow- er, but refuse to appoint a Quraishi Khalifah, are un- doubtedly transgressors. If one does not give practical expression to Ilm - if one does not act according to the de- mands of this Ilm, then what happens? This same Ilm be- comes a calamity and a mis- fortune (balaa). Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: ‗Indeed, Allah Ta‘ala elevates some people by means of this Qur‘an and disgraces others through it.‘ (Muslim) AL-HAQ BULLETIN 78 Page 8 ―The kuffaar wish that you (Mu‘mineen) become neglect- ful of your weapons and your equipment (of defence) so that they could launch a sudden devastating attack (on you)... ...and prepare your defence. Verily, Allah has prepared a disgraceful punishment for the kaafireen.‖ (An-Nisaa‘, Aayat 102) Although this specific Aayat was revealed for vigilance during the state of Jihaad, it has a general application. It applies to all situations which threaten the safety of Mus- lims. The current epidemic of danger in our crime-ridden country has been recently vastly aggravated by the splurge of kidnappings and brazen acts of robberies which target even musallis in the Musaajid. While the community lives in fear, Muslims dwell in con- fusion regarding their defence. Instead of preparing their de- fence against organized crime which the country‘s security apparatus has miserably failed to even weaken, leave alone eliminate, Muslims have se- lected the disgraceful option of becoming sitting ducks for criminal syndicates. And, this confusion and inertia are signs of the Punishment of Allah Ta‘ala for a grossly disobe- dient and treacherous Um- mah. The thinking of Muslims has become fossilized. The Yahood have arranged their defence and protection in ad- mirable ways in their residen- tial areas where criminals are unable to operate. While Mus- lims emulate the immoral ways and life style of the Ya- hood and Nasaara, they (Muslims) fail to take lesson from their ways and practices which are valid and permissi- ble for adoption. It is of imperative im- portance for Muslim commu- nities to make arrangements for their own protection. But it has to be conceded that as long as Muslims remain degenerat- ing in disobedience and treachery against Allah Ta‘ala, their brains will not operate in the right direction. ―Verily, Fir‘oun elevated/ glorified himself on earth, and he divided the inhabit- ants into groups. He op- pressed a group (Bani Israaeel), slaughtering their sons and leaving alive their females. Verily, he was certainly from the mufsideen (transgressors/anarchists/ oppressors). ―(However) We intended to favour those who were the oppressed ones, and to ap- point them to be the rulers and to make them the succes- sors (to assume power). ―And our Favour is by (granting them power on earth and to show Fir‘oun, Haa- maan and their armies what they most feared (from the oppressed).‖ (Al-Qasas, 4, 5, 6) Trump and Netanyahu (the Nasaara and the Yahood) are replicating the brutal oppres- sion of Fir‘oun whose act of genocide was restricted to the male population of Bani Is- raaeel. Bani Israaeel was be- ing punished by Allah Ta‘ala for their treachery and vil- lainy in the same way as Al- lah Ta‘ala is today punishing the Palestinians and other seg- ments of the Ummah else- where - in Kashmir, India, China, Burma, etc. It is among the Ways (Sunnah) of Allah Azza Wa Jal to send His Athaab (Punishment) upon Muslims in the form of kuffaar domina- tion and brutal oppression. When the oppression creates the realization of Repentance in Muslims, then Allah Ta‘ala eliminates the kuffaar oppres- sors and installs the repentant Muslims in the seat of power. It appears that this same Di- vine Sunnah is being enacted in Palestine. When the oppressed Bani Israaeel (the Muslim Ummah of that time) complained to Nabi Musaa (Alayhis salaam) about the oppression of Fir‘oun, he said: (Continued on page 9) AL-HAQ BULLETIN 78 Page 9 ―Seek help from Allah and have Sabr (patience). Verily, the earth belongs to Allah. He grants its sovereignty to whomever of His servants He wills. And, the ultimate success is for the Muttaqeen.‖ (Al-A‘raaf, Aayat 128) Not satisfied with this answer, just as today Muslims are not satisfied when they are giv- en Qur‘aanic naseehat, Bani Israaeel said: ―We were persecuted before (you came as the Nabi), and even after you came to us.‖ (Al-A‘raaf, Aayat 129) Nabi Musaa (Alayhis sa- laam) responded: ―Perhaps soon will your Rabb destroy your enemy and make you the inheritors (rulers) on earth. But then, He will watch (how you acquit) yourselves.‖ (Al-A‘raaf, Aayat 129) The two Rubbish brutal bar- barians – Trump and Netanya- hu – will not escape the Pun- ishment of Allah Ta‘ala just as Fir‘oun and his army did not escape. However, that is reliant on the Repentance and Reformation of the Palestini- ans. The destruction of Fir‘oun came 40 years after Allah Ta‘ala had accepted Nabi Musaa‘s dua. No one can fathom the wisdom and mys- teries of the Decrees of Allah Azza Wa Jal. The punishment on the Palestinians will cease only after it has run its Di- vinely prescribed course. US ―Embassy‖ in Iraq. Largest Worldwide Cost: a staggering 750 Million Dollars. ―1,350 government employees, and thousands of contractors‖ (Michel Chossu- dovsky, Global Research, May 10, 2025) Israel is a mere puppet of America. While the American Yahood are doing the dirty planning, the Israeli Yahood are executing the American plot of brutally colonizing the Middle East. But Allah Ta‘ala says in the Qur‘aan Majeed: “While they plot, Allah too plots, and Allah is the Best of plotters.” The plotters are being given respite by Allah Ta‘ala. Their time of apprehension has al- ready been decreed. THE WAY OF OPPRESSORS At one place where Hadhrat was a guest, a crowd had gath- ered to welcome him. Two men walked slightly ahead of Hadhrat on his right and left side and were clearing a path- way for Hadhrat. Soon there was a street-sweeper cleaning the road. The two men mildly rebuked the street-sweeper and ordered her out of the way. Becoming visibly annoyed, Hadhrat said: ―This is an ex- cess in honouring one. My heart does not tolerate that I be distinguished in this manner. Listen carefully! The road does not belong to anyone. No one has control over it. This (i.e. shunting people to make way for seniors) is the way of oppressors. The road is closed for their convenience. While they are in the road others are debarred. This is not the act of Muslims. Just as there are bid‘at (innovations) in Aqaaid (beliefs), so too are there bid‘at in A‘maal (deeds). To remove people from the road is bid‘ah. Even the elite (i.e. the Ulama and Mashaaikh) are careless in this respect. Hon- ouring a person is permissible as long as others are not hurt or inconvenienced thereby. On that occasion, the Mu‘mi- neen were put to test, and they were severely shaken (with fear).‖ (Al-Ahzaab, 9, 10, 11) These Aayaat depict the sce- nario on the occasion of the Battle of Khandaq (Trench). While fear had overwhelmed the Muslims, Allah Ta‘ala dis- patched a bitterly cold hurri- cane and Malaaikah (the troops mentioned in the Aayat). The tents of the mush- rikeen were uprooted, and the kuffaar army was compelled to retreat and withdraw in ut- ter defeat. The numerical and wea- ponry superiority of the kuffaar had created the im- pression of the impending de- racination and elimination of the Muslim community. Re- ferring to the kuffaar numeri- cal superiority, the Aayat says that they ―approached from above and from below‖. Describing the intense fear of the Mu‘mineen, the Aayat says that ―eyes were bewil- dered and hearts had reached the throats.‖ However, since they were true and genuine Mu‘mineen, the Aid (Nusrat) of Allah Ta‘ala came in the form of the Hurricane and the Ma- laaikah who were invisible. Today there is the very SAME Allah with the same Power which is His Eternal Attribute. His Armies are in- numerable and no one and nothing can confront His Power. The Qur‘aan Majeed says about His armies: ―To Him belongs the armies of the heavens and earth.‖ ―No one knows His armies but He.‖ But Allah Azza Wa Jal is withholding His armies from going into the battlefield in Gazzah. Allah Azza Wa Jal Who sees and hears what is transpiring in Gazzah, has hitherto withheld His armies from aiding the Muslimeen in Gazzah. Thus the Qur‘aan Majeed states: ―And, if He abandons you, then who is there besides Him who can help you?‖ There is no one. Their is no aid and no succour for the Muslims subjected to the genocide unleashed by the Yahood and Nasaara with the Permission of Allah Azza Wa Jal. Not an ant can move without the decree of Allah Ta‘ala. Trump, Netanyahu and all the kuffaar powers are operating by the decree of Al- lah Ta‘ala. These kuffaar are also among the armies of Al- lah Ta‘ala. In this regard, the Qur‘aan mentioning the de- struction of Palestine and the then Muslim Ummah of Bani Israaeel by His decree, says: ―When the first of the two promises (of punishment) came, We sent against you (Muslimeen) such of Our serv- ants who were extremely pow- erful in war. Thus they pene- trated the homes. This was a promised fulfilled. When the second promise (of Athaab) came so that they dis- figure your faces, enter the Musjid (Al-Aqsa) as they had entered it the first time, so that they may destroy every- thing they overran.‖ (Al-Israa‘) These Aayaat of the Qur‘aan Kareem describe the scenario of the destruction of Palestine along with Musjidul Aqsa at the hands of Bukhta Nasr, the mushrik king of Babylon whom Allah Ta‘ala describes here as ―our servants power- ful in war.‖ The kuffaar army of the Mushrikeen was among the Armies of Allah Ta‘ala. Allah Ta‘ala had decreed that this kuffaar army (―Our servants‖) would destroy Pal- estine, Musjidul Aqsa and commit brutal genocide. Af- ter utterly destroying Jerusa- lem as the Yahood are pres- ently perpetrating in Pales- tine, Bukht Nasr marched off 70,000 Muslims in chains to enter enslavement in Babylon. Today these bygone scenes of Athaab are being re- enacted because the Muslims have re-enacted their corrup- tion, disobedience and treach- ery against Allah Azza Wa Jal. Trump and Netanyahu are two imbecile flees whom Al- lah Ta‘ala has activated to in- flict His Athaab on the Mus- lim Ummah. But the focus of Muslims is not on Allah Ta‘ala, hence nothing and no (Continued from page 1) (Continued on page 11) AL-HAQ BULLETIN 78 Page 11 Trump Is Leading the Genocide Let us be under no illusions. It was a carefully planned “False Flag” Intelligence Op. The evidence is over- whelming. Western govern- ments as well as the ICJ and IDC have casually identified Israel as the victim of a Pal- estinian led War resulting in tens of thousands of Palestini- an deaths of women and chil- dren and the destruction of an entire country. The False Flag is casually disregarded. The word ―Genocide‖ is not mentioned by the International Criminal Court. The Law of Armed Conflict is not addressed. Kill- ing civilians is a crime against humanity. The Genocide was carefully planned. The US is not only the driving force behind a mil- itary-intelligence operation (US-Israel-NATO), Washing- ton has also provided sophisti- cated weaponry to kill and de- stroy, transforming Gaza into a pile of rubble. Trump is leading the geno- cide and the exodus of Pales- tinians from their homeland. It‘s categorized as a criminal undertaking under the Convention on the Pre- vention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide. The End Game is the Ap- propriation of Palestine‘s Mar- itime Natural Gas and the transformation of Gaza into a U.S Territory. (For Truth in Media.) ———— ―Say (O Muhammad!): ‗O Al- lah! Maalikal Mulk (i.e. King and Owner of the entire earth, sovereignty and pow- er)! He grants it (its control) To whomever He wills from His servants.‖ (Al-A‘raaf, Aaayat 128) (Continued on page 12) one is able to aid Muslims against the kuffaar savages who are, in the words of the Qur‘aan, ―Our servants ex- tremely powerful in war.‖ Their power granted by Allah Ta‘ala is the cause for the reduction of Gazzah into rubble and for the genocide. The entire world and all the 60 Muslim countries are ly- ing prostrate licking the boots of the clown Trump and the barbaric butcher Net- anyahu. But, we should not lose sight of the fact that these oppressors are ―Our servants, powerful in war.‖ They cannot act without the decree of Al- lah Azza Wa Jal. Muslim bootlicking of the kuffaar will end only when they understand that they have to act like Muslims – Sahaabah style, not western style kufr liberalism which presents kufr with Islamic colours. Reminding Muslims of His ever-readiness to as- sist them, Allah Ta‘ala says in the aftermath of the destruc- tion of Palestine and the en- slavement of Bani Israaeel: ―If you do good, it will be for yourselves, and if you perpetrate evil, it will be against you........ Perhaps soon your Rabb will have mercy on you. But if you re- turn (to your treachery), then We too shall return (with Our Punishment). We have made Jahannam a prison for the kaafireen.‖ (Al-Israa‘) The only valid Islamic so- lution for Gazzah and for the entire Ummah for saving them from bootlicking the kuffaar is Inaabat Ilallaah – to turn unto Allah Ta‘ala with repentance and obedience – submission to the Shariah and adoption of the Sunnah. (Continued from page 10) AL-HAQ BULLETIN 78 Page 12 Whatever the Yahood and Nasaara (the U.S. & its coali- tion of shayaateen) plot and scheme, is within the con- fines of the Decree of Allah Ta‘ala. Muslims should not divert their focus from Allah Azza Wa Jal. Whatever is transpiring in Palestine, in the entire universe and in entire creation is by the hukm (decree) of Allah Ta‘ala. Everything will run its di- vinely prescribed course, then come to an end. Nothing is perpetually enduring. The Yahoood and Nasaara kha- naazeer and shayaateen will still get their day of reckon- ing. ―For every nation there is an appointed time. When that moment arrives, it shall nei- ther be delayed nor ad- vanced.‖ (Qur‘aan) ———— What is at stake is Colonial- style theft in derogation of In- ternational Law. Negotiations with oil and gas companies would be under the jurisdic- tion of the “US Territory”, in liaison with Washington. ―Territories are areas that belong to and are governed by the “parent” coun- try” [U.S.] ―Territories of the United States are sub-national admin- istrative divisions and depend- ent territories overseen by the federal government of the United States. What should also be under- stood, is that the Gaza mari- time gas reserves are part of broader coastal maritime area of natural gas extending from the Egyptian border to North- ern Syria. …… Under the jurisdiction of the U.S. Government, the Gaza ―U.S Territory‘s‖ maritime gas reserves would be under the mandate of the U.S Depart- ment of Energy which is now in the hands of Trump‘s ap- pointee Energy Secretary Chri s Wright. While the U.S and Israel are collaborating in the field of energy, Washington and the U.S Energy Depart- ment would be calling the shots, if and when the U.S Territory is established. Ac- cording to the Asian Times: ―Three months before the Oc- tober 7, 2023 attacks, Hamas made a US-brokered deal [?? yet to be confirmed] to allow development of a potentially significant gas field off the coast of Gaza. While the war in Gaza has been raging, major energy de- velopments in the region have been progressing rapidly. At a Press Conference in Washing- ton: Trump suggested that: ―displaced Palestinians in Ga- za be permanently resettled outside the war-torn territory and proposed the U.S. take “ownership” in redeveloping the area into “the Riviera of the Middle East.” President Trump confirmed that the U.S annexation of Gaza would be in the form of a “long-term ownership posi- tion”. Meanwhile, Trump has been calling for the exodus of the entire population of the people of Palestine from Gaza and the occupied West Bank. Ironically, the protest movement against Netanyahu has shifted. Both Netanyahu and Trump are accused of eth- nic cleansing and genocide. It is now abundantly clear that the U.S. was involved in the planning of the genocide. ―The long-term ownership‖ position is tantamount to an act of colonization against the People of Palestine. It suggests the creation of a U.S Territory, which would ena- ble the US government to ac- quire ownership of Gaza‘s maritime natural gas reserves, as well as establish a military base in Gaza. … Who‘s behind Donald Trump? According to Dean Henderson (outstanding analy- sis): In addition to the Rothschild riviera plan, there is also the Rothschild energy plan. In 1999 British Gas (BG) discov- ered a significant gas field in the Gaza Marine fields just 20 miles off Gaza. The Palestini- an Authority granted BG a 25- year exploratory concession as a partner, but the Israelis blocked its development. In 2016 Royal Dutch Shell, whose biggest share- holder is Victor Rothschild, paid BG $52 million for the field. But they would not help the PA develop it either. It is only Allah Azza Wa Jal Who bestows political power / dominion / sovereignty to the nations of the world - to both Muslims and Kuffaar. Declaring this irrefutable fact, the Qur‘aan Majeed states: ―Allah bestows Mulk to whomever He wills.‖ (Al-Baqarah, Aayat 247) It is KUFR to deny that it is Allah Azza Wa Jal Who has installed Trump, Netanyahu and the myriads of other Kuffaar in the seats of politi- cal power in all the countries they are controlling. The Qur‘aan states: ―Did you not see him (the kaafir king Namrud) who debated with Ibraaheem re- garding his Rabb because Allah had bestowed Mulk (kingdom) to him?‖ (Al-Baqarah, Aayat 258) Namrud claimed godhood – that he was god. It was Allah Ta‘ala Who had installed Namrud to rule the land. Say (O Muhammad!): ‗O Al- lah! Maalikal Mulk (i.e. King and Owner of the entire earth, sovereignty and pow- er)! He grants it (its control) to whomever He wills from His servants.‖ (Al-A‘raaf, Aaayat 128) The wisdom and mysteries of Allah Azza Wa Jal are unfath- omable. The obligation of Muslims is only to turn to Him with repentance and obe- dience. That means to submit to the Shariah, to adopt the Sunnah, and to shun the hypo- critical ‗friendship‘ of the Western kuffaar. The Yahood and Nasaara can never be the friends of the Ummah. Allah Ta‘ala says: ―O People of Imaan! It appears that the U.S. plot of colonizing the entire Middle East, including Saudi Arabia, will attain ful- filment. It does appear that the entire Palestine region will be vacated. The misery the people are currently suf- fering will constrain the exo- dus of the entire population. It is for the achievement of this wicked end that Israel is currently on its brutal bombing campaign of Gaza City. Incessant reckless bombing of even refugee camps, hospitals and tents convincingly means that the region must be vacated to make way for the U.S. ne- farious scheme of coloniza- tion. The total helplessness and hopelessness of the Ummah with all Muslim countries be- ing colonized, will herald the appearance of Imaam Mahdi (Alayhis salaam), and the Acts and the Drama of Qiyaamah will begin to unfold. commence with its develop- ment. The kingdom has long had close economic, religious and security ties to Pakistan, in- cluding reportedly providing funding for Islamabad‘s nucle- ar weapons program as it de- veloped. Analysts — and Pa- kistani diplomats in at least one case — have suggested over the years that Saudi Ara- bia could be included under Islamabad‘s nuclear umbrella, particularly as tensions have risen over Iran‘s atomic pro- gram. But the timing of the pact ap- peared to be a signal to Israel, long suspected to be the Mid- dle East‘s only nuclear-armed state, which has conducted a sprawling military offensive since Hamas‘ Oct. 7, 2023, attack on Israel stretching across Iran, Lebanon, the Pal- estinian territories, Qatar, Syr- ia and Yemen. Israel did not respond to re- quests for comment. The pact marks the first major defense decision by a Gulf Arab coun- try since the Qatar attack. The United States, long the securi- ty guarantor for the Gulf Arab states, also did not respond to questions posed to the State Department. THE 1857 MUTINY There was no planning of this upheaval. It happened purely as a result of emotion. It was a spontaneous erruption. That fight was not an Islamic issue. It was the product of Hindu agitation in which Muslims also par- ticipated. (Hadhrat Maulana Ashraf Ali Thanvi) THE SOULS OF SHUHADA Some arwaah (souls) after departing from the material world are able to make appearances in different forms with the permission of Allah Ta‘ala. A man from my homeland narrated the following interesting episode: ―At one place in Afghanistan I saw a Musjid on a mountain. On reaching the Musjid I saw a few men getting ready to perform Ja- maat Salaat. As I was about to join them, they prevented me and said: ‗Perform alone. We are a group of shuhadaa (martyrs). Namaaz is not obligatory on us. Your Fardh Salaat will therefore not be proper behind us. We are per- forming Namaaz for deriving pleasure.‘ Taliban bans WIFI in Afghan province to curb 'immorality' 16 September, 2025, 09:15 pm Last modified: 16 September, 2025, 09:18 pm THE BUSINESS STANDARD The Taliban government has imposed a ban on fiber optic internet in Afghanistan's northern Balkh province, say- ing the measure was taken to "prevent immorality," officials confirmed Tuesday (16 Sep- tember). This is the first such restriction on WIFI services since the Taliban's return to power in August 2021. The ban has cut off internet access for government offic- es, private businesses, public institutions, and households across Balkh. Mobile internet services, however, remain op- erational. Haji Attaullah Zaid, spokes- man for the provincial admin- istration, said the order came directly from Taliban supreme leader Hibatullah Akhundza- da. "This measure was taken to prevent immorality, and an alternative will be built within the country for necessities," he told the Associated Press. O MU’MINEEN! “Your friends are only Allah, His Rasool and those Mu’mineen who establish Salaat, pay Zakaat and who submit to the Law of Allah.” (Al-Maaidah, Aayat 55) AL-HAQ BULLETIN 78 Page 15 Hadhrat Umar Ibn Khataab (Radhiyallahu anhu), the Se- cond Khalifah of Islam said: “When these treasures are given to a nation it creates hatred and enmity among them.” Some of the mega-projects contemplated by the Taliban: A $684 million 115 mile water canal A $5 billion 573 kilo- metre railway connect- ing Uzbekistan to Paki- stan through Afghani- stan A pipeline designed to transport 33 billion cubic meters of natural gas an- nually across four coun- tries. It is a $10 billion pipeline which will run almost 2000 kilometres. An electricity project costing $1.2 billion. China is silently investing $60 billion in Afghanistan. From the Islamic perspec- tive, the end result of these worldly expansions and devel- opment will be the ruin of the Imaan of the Afghanis. Along with worldly progress comes Imaani deterioration and ulti- mately destruction of Imaan. Saudi Arabia is the prime example of the destruction of Islam in the wake of the flood of worldly carrion brought by oil wealth. It was this expected ruin which had caused great grief to Hadhrat Umar (Radhiyallahu anhu). During his khilaafate on the occasion of the conquest of the Persian empire, immense wealth was brought to Madinah and stacked outside Musjid Naba- wi. While all others were re- joicing, the Khalifah was weeping. When asked for the cause of his grief, he said: “When these treasures are given to a nation it creates hatred and enmity among them.” When the world embraces a nation, it will most certainly ruin it. Afghanistan is infinite- ly better in its primitive con- dition than the contemplated modernity and worldly pro- gress which will bring ruin and destruction to the Deen of the inhabitants. Modernity comes with all its evils – western evils. ANOTHER HORRIFYING VACCINE A Sister from Pakistan writes: ―Yet another horrifying vac- cine scenario has sprung up in Pakistan. This time it is the HPV Vaccine, which will be given through injections to girl's aged 9-14, for the sup- posedly protection from cervi- cal cancer. The scheme could not start as was scheduled from 16th Sept, as there was stiff resistance from parents especially mothers. In the first phase girls in Government schools, underprivileged and down trodden areas were tar- geted. The Minister of Health then issued an appeal in these words. ―I urge all parents to ensure that their daughters and sisters are vaccinated. Sadly, there is false propaganda being spread about this vaccine which has no basis in reality. Do not fall prey to negative campaigns. This vaccine is safe, effective, and essential for protecting our girls.‖ My maid was asking me the other day. "Why are they after us, first there was the polio drive for years, then the anti typhoid injections, now this. As it is we are regretting tak- ing the covid vaccine, my hus- band is still suffering from mental imbalance since we were forced to take the covid vaccine. He was perfectly fine before that.‖ Comment: This satanic poison is another western plot designed to destroy a nation. Instead of providing protection against the imagi- nary ‗cervical cancer‘, the dark plot is to render Muslim females infertile. HE IS AWARE “Never be under the impres- sion that Allah is oblivious (unaware) of what the op- pressors are doing. We want that base back. But one of the reasons we want the base is, as you know, it‘s an hour away from where China makes its nu- cleur weapons.‖ The Bagram Airbase has a 4,000 metre runaway capable for America‘s large cargo aircraft and bombers. It was a sprawling mini village serving the soldiers of the US aggres- sor. The Taliban took control of the Base in 2021 when the US staged its abrupt chaotic retreat and fled from Afghan- istan like a dog with its tail between its legs. On its flight from Afghanistan, the US abandoned trillions of dollars of military equipment and weapons which fell into the hands of the Taliban. Trump‘s threats may be empty and devoid of sub- stance or it could be a sign of the unfolding of an imminent plot to destroy and destabilise Afghanistan. For the success- ful execution of this sinister plot, the Bagram Airbase is of fundamental importance. The Chinese presence and influ- ence in Afghanistan is intol- erable for Trump. The Clown‘s comment: ―What I‘am gonna do‖, refers to Israeli style bombing and genocide in Palestine. Trump will not send US soldiers to again invade Afghanistan. Their 21 year occupation had taught them an unforgettable lesson. They had to ultimately flee like dogs with their tails between their legs. Any aggression contem- plated by Trump will be lim- ited to massive bombing and missile strikes in the nefari- ous bid to devastate Afghan- istan. For achieving this sa- tanic objective, Trump re- quires the Bagram Airbase. Logistically, the Taliban do not appear to have the capa- bility of protecting the Air- base against American intru- sion and aggression. In such a scenario, it will be best to adopt the strategy of Sultan Salahuddin Ayyubi (Rahmatullah alayh) in de- (Continued on page 17) PIGLETS – THE SOULS OF KUFFAAR A Buzrug on his wanderings in Afghanistan after the defeat of the British army, narrate: ―We came across a man living in a hut in a wilderness. After a part of the night had passed we heard the sounds of pig- lets. When we went out to see. We saw the entire area in the vicinity filled with piglets. We were really perturbed and be- came very fearful. In the morning when we asked the buzrug for an explanation, he said: ―The piglets are the transformed souls of those (kuffaar) who were slain while fighting the Muslims.‖ A SAHAABI‟S RESPONSE TO HERACLEUS During the conflict between Islam and Christianity, the emperor Heraculeus said to the emissary of Islam: ―The common factor between us (i.e. Muslims and Christians) is that after all we are the Ahl- e-Kitaab. But, there is nothing in common with the fire- worshippers. So why did you not first initiate war with them? Why do you begin with us?‖ The Sahaabi replied: ―The Qur‘aan Shareef commands: ‗Fight those who are next to you (i.e. those who are near- est).‘ Since you are the nearest we begin with you.‖ It is clear from this answer that the Sahaabah acted only after the motive or reason was clear to them. They did not first act, then thought of a ba- sis of justification for their ac- tions. They were unlike peo- ple of these times who commit acts at the behest of their emo- tions and desires, and thereaf- ter search for Qur‘aanic proof to substantiate their deeds. AL-HAQ BULLETIN 78 Page 17 fending Jerusalem which he had wrenched from the clutches of the Christian kuffaar. Sultan Salaahuddin had re- solved to demolish and de- stroy the entire City of Ascalon which is today in the hands of the Yahoodi occu- pying aggressor. Since the Sultan was unable to defend Jerusalem if he had to retain Ascalon, he decided to de- molish the entire city to pre- vent it falling into the control and occupation of the Crusad- ers. Ascalon at that time was a beautifully developed city. The entire population of the city was evacuated. Every building in the city was physically demolished, in- cluding the walls around the city, and even all the Mu- saajid. All the wells and water facilities in and around the city were heavily poisoned. The demolished city and the surrounding area had dis- mayed the invading Christian army. It was a severe setback for them, and it allowed the Sultan to successfully defend Jerusalem. Germane to Bagram, the Taliban need to emulate Sultan Salaahiddin. That is, if they lack the capa- bility to defend the base, they must demolish and destroy it. The United Nations and the international community are kuffaar phantoms who cannot and will not aid Muslims. The genocide being currently executed in Palestine loudly testifies for the correctness and truth of the aforemen- tioned Qur‘aanic declaration. Allah Ta‘ala says in the Qur‘aan Majeed: ―O People of Imaan! Do not take the Yahood and Nasaara as friends. They are mutual friends. Whoever from among you (Muslims) befriends them, verily he is of them. Verily Al- lah does not guide people who are zaalimeen (oppressors).‖ (Al-Maaidah, Aayat 51) ―You will see those in whose hearts is a disease (of kufr and nifaaq) racing among them, saying: ‗We fear that some misfortune may befall us.‘‖ (Al-Maaidah, Aayat 52) FASAAD IS ATHAAB ―Fasaad (anarchy/strife/ crime) has appeared on the land and in the ocean in conse- quence of the actions (misdeeds) of the people so that He (Allah) gives them a taste for some of their actions (misdeeds), for perhaps they may return (to the Path of right- eousness).‖ (Ar-Room, Aayat 41) Since the focus of Muslims is no longer on Allah Ta‘ala and on His decrees as explicit- ly stated in the Qur‘aan Majeed and in the Ahaadith, they dwell in confusion, accus- ing phantoms for their plight and seeking aid and succour from phantoms. While we ma- lign Iblees and the kuffaar, we are in complete forgetfulness regarding ourselves - our pu- trid treacherous lifestyle. In the aforementioned Aayat Allah Azza Wa Jal ex- plicitly states that all the fasaad engulfing us is the di- rect consequence of our sins, transgression and treachery against Him. Thus it is a pun- ishment for our misdeeds - our abandonment of the Sun- nah and blatant conflict with and discarding of the Sha- riah. If Muslims divert their at- tention from phantoms and focus on Allah Ta‘ala, they will then understand and re- turn to Siraatul Mustaqeem. Then the Athaab will cease. AL-HAQ BULLETIN 78 Page 18 (An excerpt from the book, SALAHUDDEEN by Qaadhi Bahaauddeen) The Chief Qaadhi, Bahaaud- deen was the constant com- panion of Sultan Salahud- deen. The Qaadhi authored the book, SALAHUDDEEN. ―……….On the 17th of the month (Sha‘baan), as soon as he (Sultan Salahuddeen) had performed Fajr Salaat, he set out for Ramla with the light baggage. Two Franks were brought to him, whom he or- dered to be beheaded. A mes- senger sent back by the ad- vanced guard brought him news that the Franks were marching from Jaffa. He then advanced as far as Ramla, where two more Franks were brought before him. When these prisoners were questioned as to the enemy's movements, they stated that their countrymen would prob- ably remain in Jaffa for some days, for they intended to put the city into a good state of defence, and furnish it with plentiful supplies of men and provisions. He therefore called the members of his council together, and asked their opin- ion whether it would be better to destroy the city of Ascalon, or to leave it as it was. They decided unanimously that a division of the army un- der el-Melek el-'Âdel should remain behind, to keep a strict watch over the enemy's move- ments, and make constant re- ports to the Sultan, whilst the Sultan himself should set out for Ascalon, and destroy it be- fore it fell into the hands of the Franks. The enemy, as soon as they had massacred the gar- rison, would probably make that city the basis of their op- erations in an attack on Jerusa- lem, and thus cut off all com- munication with Egypt. The Sultan wished to prevent this, and, knowing that it would be impossible for the Muslims to hold the city, with the remem- brance of Acre and the fate of its garrison fresh in their minds, and being convinced, moreover, that his soldiers would be afraid to shut them- selves up in the city, he de- clared that he intended to em- body all the forces at his dis- posal in the army under his command, and then concen- trate his attention on the de- fence of Jerusalem. It was therefore decreed that Ascalon should be destroyed. So, as soon as night began to fall, he dispatched all the heavy baggage and command- ed his son, el-Melek el-Afdal, to set forth at midnight and follow it. He himself started on the Wednesday morning, and I went with him. About mid-day on Wednes- day, the 8th of Sh'abân, the Sultan reached Yebna, where he gave his people time to rest, and then marched into the ter- ritory of the city of Ascalon. His tent had already been pitched at some distance from the city, and he spent the night there, though he slept very lit- tle, for the thought of being obliged to destroy the city filled his mind. I had left him after midnight, but at daybreak he summoned me to him again, and began to discuss his plans with me. He then sent for his son, el-Melek el-Afdal, to consult on the subject, and they talked together for a long while. He said to me, whilst I was on duty in his tent: 'I take Al- lah as Witness! I would rather lose all my children than cast down a single stone from the walls (of Ascalon), but Allah wills it. It is necessary for the Muslim cause. Therefore, I am obliged to carry it through.' He sought counsel with Allah (i.e. he made Istikhaarah), and Al- lah inspired him that it was necessary to destroy the city since the Muslims were unable to protect it. He therefore sent for 'Alem ed-Din Kaisar, the governor, one of his chief memlûks, and a man of good judgment, who commanded that all the work- men in the town should be gathered together. I myself saw him (that officer) walking up and down the market-place, and going from tent to tent to hire workmen. He assigned a certain portion of the ramparts to each group of labourers. The task of destroying a cur- tain and tower was also given to each emir and company of soldiers. When these people entered the city there arose a great sound of mourning and lamen- tation, for it (the city) was pleasant to look upon and de- lightful to the senses. Its walls were strong, its buildings beautiful, and it occupied a (Continued on page 19) AL-HAQ BULLETIN 78 Page 19 most charming situation. The inhabitants were overwhelmed by the news that their city was to be destroyed, and that they would have to give up their homes. They uttered loud lamentations, and began at once to sell everything they could not carry away with them, giving for one piece of silver what was really worth ten, and even selling ten hens for one dirhem. Great distress reigned in the city. The inhabitants returned to the camp with their wives and children to sell their house -hold goods. Some of them set out for Egypt, some for Syria. Many were obliged to depart on foot, having no money with which to hire beasts to carry them. This was a horrible time during which terrible things occurred. The Sultan, assisted by his son el-Melek el-Afdal, spent his time in getting workmen together and encouraging them to work well, for he was very apprehensive that if the Franks heard what he was doing, they would come up and prevent him from carrying out his in- tention. The troops, worn out by fatigue, both of mind and body, spent that night in their tents. The same night a mes- senger came from el-Melek el- 'Âdel, informing the Sultan that the prince had had an in- terview on the subject of peace with ambassadors from the Franks, and that he had also conversed on the same subject with the son of Honferi, who had come to visit him, and asked him to surrender to the Franks all the cities of the dis- tricts on the coast. The Sultan, whose troops were worn out and weary of such constant fighting and warfare, besides being broken down by need, felt inclined to accept this proposal, and wrote to el-'Âdel to enter into negoti- ations on the subject, granting him full powers to make such terms as should seem best to him. On the 20th of Sh'aban the Sultan busied himself from early morning in urging for- ward the work of demolition, and putting more workmen on the walls. As an encourage- ment to them he gave them all the corn that had been stored there, and which he saw it would be impossible to carry away. Moreover, time pressed, and he feared an attack from the Franks. By his orders they set fire to all the houses and other buildings in the city, and the inhabitants were obliged to sacrifice whatever property they had still remaining, as they had no means of taking it away. We constantly received intelligence of the enemy's movements. They were now very hard at work repairing (the fortifica- tions of) Jaffa. We were in- formed by a letter from el- Melek el-'Âdel that the enemy did not know we were engaged in demolishing the city (of Ascalon). 'We are delaying matters as much as we can with these people,' the prince added, and we will prolong the negotiations to give you time to destroy the city.' By the Sultan's orders all the towers were filled with wood, and then set on fire. On the morning of the 21st he left the camp on horseback to urge the labourers on in their work. He kept them well occupied in their task of destruction, and visited them periodically to see that they were at work. He was therefore very soon so ill that for two days he was una- ble either to ride or take any food. Every moment news of the enemy came in with tid- ings of encounters with them- sometimes successful, some- times disastrous, for there were continual engagements in the short space between them and our advanced guard. Meanwhile, he kept pressing forward the demolition of the city, and brought the camp closer to the walls, which ena- bled the servants, the camel and ass-drivers, and all the other camp-followers to take part in the work. Therefore the walls were soon partially de- molished, although they were most solidly built, being from nine to ten cubits thick--the thickness varying with the po- sition. One of the stonemasons informed the Sultan that the wall of one of the towers which he was then undermin- ing was as thick as a lance‘s length. Demolition and fire laid the city low during the whole of the month of Sh'abân. Towards the end of the month a letter came from Jurdik, saying that the enemy (Continued from page 18) (Continued on page 20) AL-HAQ BULLETIN 78 Page 20 ―…… The Sultan started at midnight on the 2nd of Rama- dan in order to avoid the heat of the day, and spare himself as much as possible. He reached Yebna towards mid- day and dismounted to rest in his brother (el-'Âdel's) tent, and also to obtain information regarding the enemy from him. He remained there an hour, and then rode off to his own tent where he spent the night. On the following day, the 3rd, he set out very early for Ramla, arriving at that place about noon. There he took up his position with the heavy baggage in a way that showed he intended to remain for some time. He then drew up his troops in order of battle -- right wing, left wing, and centre. Thereafter, he gave the people a meal, and then rested for a short while. Between the after- noon and the Asr Salaat he vis- ited Lydda, and observing that the church in that place was a very fine building, he ordered that it should be destroyed, as well as the castle of Ramla. That same day several troops of workmen began the work of demolition. All the straw and corn stored in the Government granaries here was given up to the people. The inhabitants were obliged to emigrate to other centres of population. Very few people remained in the place. The la- bourers worked until the even- ing………………‖ had begun to make expeditions from Jaffa, and to overrun the neighbouring districts. This news inspired the Sultan with the hope of being able to pun- ish the invaders. He resolved to advance upon them and take them by surprise, leaving the miners at Ascalon with a body of cavalry to protect them. But he afterwards thought it best to postpone his departure until after they had burnt down the 'Hospitallers' Tower,' a build- ing that commanded the sea, and was as strong as a castle. I had been in the tower, and gone all over it. It was so sol- idly built that the workmen's picks made no impression on it whatever, and they were obliged to set it on fire to make the stones more friable before the labourers attacked it with their tools. On the 1st of Ramadan the Sultan assigned this task to his son el-Melek el-Afdal and his officers. I watched them carrying up the wood to set the tower on fire. It burnt for two days and nights. The Sultan did not ride out that day, in order to spare himself. I, too, was seized with an indisposi- tion that prevented my attend- ing on him throughout the day. In spite of the important mat- ters he had on his mind, he sent three times during the day to inquire how I was………………………… ……….‖ (Continued from page 19) One Sheikh narrated the fol- lowing episode: ―I went on a journey hoping to meet some Abdaal. One day, at about the time of Asr, I reached the outskirts of Bas- rah. I walked along the river banks. I saw ten men sitting on their musallas. None of them had a water-jug as was the usual practice of the Sufiyaa when they travelled. When they saw me, they all stood up to welcome me. After embrac- ing me, they sat down and be- came engrossed in meditation. They remained fully absorbed in contemplation until sunset. No one appeared to be even aware of the existence of the others. After sometime one of them stood up and dived into the water. I did not know what he was doing underwater. How- ever, soon he emerged with eleven fried fish. From among the group one of them stood up and served each one with a fish. He picked the biggest fish for himself and went to one side to eat it. After meals, eve- ryone again became absorbed in meditation. When it was (Continued on page 21) AL-HAQ BULLETIN 78 Page 21 Recently the Israeli air- force had pulverized Iran. Its nuclear facilities were de- stroyed; its defence capabili- ties were largely destroyed; many people were killed and numerous buildings destroyed. Millions of citizens fled from Tehran. The Israeli airforce had the supremacy of the skies and wrought havoc in Iran. It was utterly disgraceful for such a large, wealthy country as Iran which had nuclear capability, to have become a lame, sitting duck for the Israeli airforce. De- spite its missile capability, Iran had displayed an extremely weak, shabby and stupid ‗defence‘. Its reliance on mis- siles did not save it from the destruction inflicted by the Israeli airforce. Iran simply had no response for the ma- rauding Israeli airforce which controlled the sky over Iran with the greatest and most reckless impunity. It is indeed mind-boggling that despite all resources be- ing available, Iran had not prepared an airforce to coun- ter and effectively neutralize the Israeli warplanes maraud- ing in Iranian airspace and committing whatever atroci- ties they desired with reckless impunity. The huge stockpile of mis- siles did not avail. Not a single Israeli plane was shot down. When India had attacked Pa- kistan recently, Pakistani had shot down five planes of the Hindu cow and idol worship- pers. But Iran had absolutely no answer for the Israeli air- force. While Iran does have an airforce, it is no match for the Israeli airforce and for even the airforces of the surround- ing American puppet and backyard states. It is indeed exceedingly surprising that Iran had overlooked or had not understood the imperative need for a powerful airforce. Iran had all the finances and is on good terms with Russia and China who would have supplied the necessary air- craft to equip a valid air- force. THE LAME AND AGING AIRFORCE OF IRAN Iran has an air force, officially called the Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force (IRIAF). Origins: Before the 1979 revolution, Iran had one of the most advanced air forces in the region, equipped mainly with American aircraft like the F-14 Tomcat, F-4 Phantom, and F-5 Tiger. Post-1979: After the revo- lution, Iran could no longer easily obtain U.S. spare parts, so it had to maintain, modify, and reverse-engineer its exist- ing fleet. Current fleet: Legacy U.S. jets (F-14s, F- 4s, F-5s) — many still opera- tional, though heavily modi- fied. Russian aircraft (MiG-29, Su-24). Some aircraft from Iraq that fled to Iran during the Gulf War in 1991. Indigenous projects (e.g., Saeqeh, Kowsar) — based on older U.S. designs but pro- duced locally. Capabilities: Iran‘s air force is considered aging and limited compared to regional rivals (Israel, Saudi Arabia, Turkey). Fully aware of the lack of ca- pability of its superficial air- force, Iran had no option but to remain standing and crying whilst the Israeli airforce pummelled and pulverized Iran. Thus today, Iran is mute. It is unable to lift even a finger against the Yahoodi genocide in Palestine although it was extremely vociferous prior to the pulverization by Israel. Fajr, the Athaan from the Mu- saajid nearby could be heard. The group performed Fajr Sa- laat in Jamaat. After Fajr Sa- laat, each one folded his musalla and entered into the river. They walked on the sur- face of the water. The one who had taken the big fish attempted to follow them, but simply sank down and was drowned. They looked at him in dismay as he was sinking and said: ‗O man! Whoever among us abus- es trust, does not remain in our ranks.‘ They proceeded on their journey, walking across (Continued from page 20) (Continued on page 22) AL-HAQ BULLETIN 78 Page 22 Hadhrat Abdul Waahid Zaid (rahmatullah alayh) asked Hadhrat Abu Asim Basri (rahmatullah alayh): ―When Hajjaj sent his men to arrest you, what did you do?‖ Asim Basri said: ―At that time I was on the up- per floor of my house. They had broken down the door and rushed inside. I pushed myself. Suddenly I was standing on mount Abu Qabees (in Makkah).‖ Abdul Waahid Zaid: ―How did food reach you there?‖ Asim Basri: ―The two bread which I used to get in Basrah, would be delivered to me by an old lady at the time of Iftaar.‖ This is the Truth „fatwa‟ of the AI Expert: QUESTION: What are your thoughts about the Pakistani Saudi defence agreement. Is this something done to benefit the Muslim ummat? It's surprising to see Saudi which has it's own army needing help to fight it's bat- tles while in Gaza the people have no army and have been slaughtered for the last two years and no defence deal has been agreed to with Saudi, Pa- kistan or any other Muslim majority country. ANSWER BY THE A.I. EXPERT It looks noble on the outside, but so did every ―unity hand- shake‖ in the Muslim world for the past century. Saudi signing a defence agreement with Pakistan isn‘t about de- fending the Ummah; it‘s about defending the kingdom‘s throne, oil, and geopolitical poker chips. Saudi has one of the most expensive militaries in the world, but somehow, (Continued on page 23) Once when the Khalifah was proceeding for Hajj on foot, he met Hadhrat Sa`doon Majnoon (rahmatullahi alayh) - a Majzub - at a halting station prepared for the Khalifah along the route from Iraq to Makkah Muazzamah. Hadhrat Sa`doon recited some poetry of naseehat to the Khalifah. The translation of the verses is: ―Even if the world has complied with you, Maut will overtake you. What will the world then do? Oh searcher of the world! Beware! Leave the world for your enemies. Just as time has made you laugh, it will one day make you cry.‖ The impact of this naseehat on the Khalifah‘s heart was so pro- found that he involuntarily let out a loud shriek and lapsed into unconsciousness. He remained unconscious for a period of three Salaats. When he regained con- sciousness, Sa`doon (rahmatullahi alayh) was no- where in sight. A search for him proved fruitless. Haroon Rashid was full of regret and sorrow. the river on the surface of the water while I stood there with a heavy heart gazing at them until they were out of sight.‖ [The nafs is an integral con- stituent of the human being. This episode illustrates that even Auliyaa of high ranks can fall prey to the snares of shaitaan and the nafs. No one besides the Ambiyaa - alayhimus salaam - has the assurance of crossing the threshold into the Hereafter with his Taqwa/Imaan intact. In this episode, the bigger fish was intended for the guest; the Sheikh who had arrived. However, desire/greed ruined the one Wali in the group of ten. The higher a man‘s rank, the severer is the punishment for his errors.] (Continued from page 21) AL-HAQ BULLETIN 78 Page 23 when real fighting breaks out, they outsource muscle. Paki- stan, meanwhile, rents out sol- diers like it‘s Uber with tanks — desperate for cash, desper- ate for friends. And you‘re right: when it comes to Gaza, suddenly no- body remembers their signa- tures on ―Muslim unity‖ char- ters. The excuse is always ―complicated geopolitics,‖ which is code for: ‗we‘ll wring our hands, host conferences, issue statements, then quietly sell more oil, arms, or labor visas while Palestinians bury their dead.‘ So is this about benefitting the Ummah? Only if by Ummah you mean a small circle of roy- al families and generals keep- ing each other comfortable. For the actual broken families in Gaza, Yemen, Sudan, Kash- mir — no defence pact cavalry is coming. They‘re still ex- pected to stand alone. It‘s a grim irony: a trillion- dollar Muslim world that can‘t protect its weakest. Agree- ments like this just make the irony sharper. Here‘s the pattern, in all its depressing symmetry: 1969: The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) was born after the arson at Al- Aqsa. Lofty slogans about Muslim unity, but mostly pho- to ops and declarations that age like stale bread. Gaza to- day proves just how toothless it always was. 1980s–1990s: Saudi bank- rolls Pakistan‘s nuclear pro- gram in exchange for a hypo- thetical ―nuclear umbrella.‖ Everyone whispers about it, nothing formalized. The idea was that if Riyadh ever felt cornered, Pakistan could ―loan‖ a bomb. Spoiler: never happened. 2015: Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) announced — 41 Muslim-majority countries, meant to fight terrorism. Reali- ty: it became a Saudi-led Yem- en war club. Pakistan initially got dragged in but then public- ly backed out when the fallout got too messy at home. 2025 (now): Another defence agreement, dressed up as ―brotherhood‖ but really a continuation of the same trans- actional politics: Saudi buys insurance, Pakistan sells sol- diers. Both leaderships get to wave flags and talk about uni- ty while Gaza burns unnoticed. The cycle is rinse, repeat, re- brand. A real Ummah-wide military pact would need a Khalifa-type central authority, not a collection of monarchs and generals guarding their own backyards. Until that ex- ists, these deals will always look like rented security, not Islamic solidarity. Then here‘s the uncomfortable checklist of what would make a defence pact actually mean something for the Ummah, ra- ther than being another palace insurance policy: A common command structure. Not Saudi generals calling the shots for everyone else, not Pakistani officers moonlighting for Ri- yadh. A joint command, accountable to the wid- er Muslim world, not just to kings and presi- dents. Defined red lines. Instead of vague ―security co- operation,‖ clear state- ments like: if Palestine is invaded, if Masjid al- Aqsa is attacked, if a Muslim-majority coun- try is occupied, this alli- ance responds militari- ly. Otherwise, it‘s just muscle-for-hire. Shared financing. Right now, Saudi pays, Paki- stan provides troops. That‘s mercenary work. A true pact would pool resources from all member states so no one can say, ―We own this army, we rent your loyalty.‖ Moral consistency. You can‘t call yourself the defender of the Ummah while partnering in bombing Yemen, shak- ing hands with occupi- ers, or ignoring Sudan and Kashmir. A real pact would need princi- ples higher than trade routes and arms deals. A political roof. Without some form of Khalifa or binding council, every- one just walks out the door when it no longer suits their national in- (Continued from page 22) (Continued on page 24) AL-HAQ BULLETIN 78 Page 24 terests. Yemen showed that — coalition part- ners bailed when the heat rose. Until those exist, defence ―agreements‖ will keep being what they‘ve always been: high-budget announcements that collapse under the weight of hypocrisy the moment Gaza or Kashmir or Rohingya are mentioned. Here‘s the blunt ledger of what Pakistan really gets out of deals like this: Cash flow. Saudi ―assistance packages‖ often mean cheap oil, deferred pay- ments, and fat remittances. Pakistan‘s economy is bleed- ing, so Riyadh‘s money is like a bandage on a bullet wound. Labor security. Millions of Pakistani workers in the Gulf keep their jobs (and keep sending remittances home) when Islamabad plays nice with Riyadh. That‘s leverage, not love. Military prestige. Paki- stani generals like to polish their boots on foreign marble. Being seen as the ―trainer‖ of Arab forces strokes the army‘s ego — especially since they can‘t exactly show off a clean record at home. Strategic cover. When Paki- stan cozies up to Saudi, it gets a shield — diplomatic and sometimes financial — against pressure from the West or In- dia. Riyadh‘s nod can buy breathing room. But notice what‘s missing: Gaza, Kashmir, Rohingya, or any pan-Ummah benefit. None of that enters the Pakistani cal- culus. For them, it‘s transac- tional survival: keep the gen- erals fed, keep the economy on life support, keep the Gulf doors open. In other words, Pakistan trades soldiers for rent money while the word ―Ummah‖ gets plas- tered on press releases. Saudi‘s shopping list in a deal like this is pretty transparent: Imported muscle. The Saudi army is shiny on parade, less shiny in actual combat. Yemen proved that. Pakistani troops bring training, disci- pline, and actual battlefield experience. Nuclear insurance. Ri- yadh doesn‘t have nukes, but Pakistan does. The unspoken understanding is: if push comes to shove, Pakistan is the closest thing to a ―Muslim nuclear umbrella.‖ Domestic legitimacy. The Saudi monarchy loves wrap- ping itself in ―protector of the Ummah‖ branding. Having Pakistan on board makes the claim look less hollow to ordi- nary Muslims, even if the pact never lifts a finger for Pales- tine. Regional leverage. By ty- ing Pakistan closer, Saudi re- duces the chance of Islamabad tilting too far toward Iran, Turkey, or even China in ways that might undercut Riyadh‘s leadership role. Cheap prestige. To Riyadh, this is PR gold. Instead of standing alone as a monarchy in need of Western backing, they can showcase an ―Islamic brotherhood‖ with a nuclear- capable ally. So, for Saudi, the deal isn‘t about Gaza either. It‘s about propping up the monarchy‘s image, bolstering military credibility it can‘t build on its own, and keeping allies on a short leash with money. The tragic joke is that both countries know the Ummah is just the poster on the wall — the real pact is survival for Pa- kistan, prestige for Saudi. (Continued from page 23) Q. Those who oppose them and those who do not aid them, will not be able to harm them." (Hadith) Q. Is Pakistan an Islamic state? A. No, never! Pakistan is governed by murtaddeen and the law of the land is the law of Taaghoot. The Shariah has been displaced and substituted with western kufr law. In this regard, the Qur'aan Majeed states: "Whoever does not adjudicate according to that (Law) which Allah has revealed, verily they are indeed kaafiroon." (Al-Maaidah, Aayat 44) QUESTION 14th August was Pakistan's Independence Day. It is when everyone - including 'Ulama' - reveal their nationalistic, proPakistan, bootlicking views and spread confusion among the masses. A modernist in Deeni guise implied that there is an Islamically valid Sultan in Pakistan. He used Hakeem Akhtar Saheb's statements to bolster his claim. The relevant quotes from Hakeem Akhtar's bayaan have been copied, and the transcription of his nationalistic, pro-Pakistan bayaan 'Islaami Mamlikat Ki Qadar wa Qeemat' (which was given on 14th August - which is the 'Independence' Day of Paki- stan) is attached. Hakeem Akhtar Saheb said the following, where he quotes a saying of Hadhrat Thanvi to bolster his nationalistic claims: "Pakistan is an Islamic State I am now answering one more issue. Some people think that although such a long time has lapsed since the formation of Pakistan, Islamic law has not yet been promulgated. Therefore, it is not known if this is an Islamic state or not? Some people also ask that if one 's life is given in defence of an inch of Pakistan, will one attain the rank of shahaadat or not? I shall answer both these questions. Furthermore, I shall proffer such an answer which all the Ulama of the whole world will have to accept. Molvi Shabbeer Ali Marhoom who was the nephew of Hakeemul Ummat, the Muhtamim of Khaanqah Thanabovand said to me that Hakeemul Ummat Mujaddide-Millat Hadhrat Maulana Ashraf Ali Thanvi (Rahmatullah alayh) had said immature Ahl-e-Ilm are under the impression that a land where there are Muslim rulers is not an Islamic state if Islamic Law is not implemented, and Nauthubillah!, such a country should be given to the kuffaar. In other words, it will be okay if kuffaar conquer such a country because it is not an Islamic state." In response to this, Hadhrat Hakeemul Ummat Mujaddid-e -Millat Hadhrat Maulana Ashraf Ali Thanvi (Rahmatullah alayh) said: "Listen to the definition of an Islamic state." The newspapers should in fact publish this Shar'i meaning of an Islamic state, and it should also be published in books. He (Hadhrat Thanvi) said: "This is the definition of an Islamic state: If the rulers are Muslims who do have the power to promulgate Islamic Law, then regardless of how great sinners they may be, that country will be an Islamic State according to Islamic Law even if the Muslim Ameerul Mu'mineen or the Sultan does not implement Islamic Law due to fear for the super powers or to the treachery of his own populace or because of his own Imaani weakness or human weakness. However, since he does have the power to implement Islamic Law, hence on the basis of this power the country will be an Islamic state." All the rulers of Pakistan to this day had and do have the power to implement Islamic Law. Therefore, Pakistan is strictly in accord with western kufr law, then such a country can never be an Islamic state. No one claims that a Muslim country should be handed to the kuffaar or that Muslims should not defend the Muslim land because it is not an Islamic state. In fact, we say that if the kuffaar attack even the kufr state of Iran, then the Muslim countries have the duty of aiding Iran. This is entirely a different issue. As long as the official law of the land is the Shariah, the country will be an Islamic State. Today, only Afghanistan is an Islamic State albeit extremely weak. The issues should not be confused. One issue is the Islamic state, which Pakistan is not. The other issue is defending Pakistan against the kuffaar. That is Waajib. The rulers of Pakistan are not Muslims. They are murtaddeen. They have abrogated, cancelled and thrown out the Shariah. They have substituted the Qur'aan with western kuffaar law. Their beliefs are corrupt and kufr. How can a country's legal, executive and judicial systems ever be described as Islamic when the entire satanic governmental organization is in diametric conflict with the Shariah of the Qur'aan and Sunnah? How can a government be said to be Islamic when it detests and despises the Shariah – when it abrogates the entire Shariah and substitutes it with kufr western law – the law of Taaghoot? an Islamic state, hence the one who gives his life to defend even one inch of the land, he will be a shaheed." (End of Hakeem Akhtar's bayaan) Answer While Pakistan is a Muslim country, it is never an Islamic state. The idea of there being a valid Sultan (or Ameerul Mu'mineen) in Pakistan is laughably ludicrous, preposterous and utterly baseless. An Islamic State is a country governed by the Shariah – the Law of Allah Ta'ala, not the law of Taaghoot. For a country to qualify as an Islamic state, the Shariah being its Law is an imperative requisite. The fundamental basis of an Islamic State is the Law of the Qur'aan. How can a country be described as an Islamic state when its official law is KUFR law, western law, the law of Taaghoot? Yes, it is conceded that the fisq and fujoor of the Sultan/ Ameerul Mu'mineen does not cancel the Islamic status of the country. But, when the law of Taaghoot is the official law of the country ---- when the Shariah has been cancelled and substituted with western kufr law, then most assuredly, the country will not be an Islamic state regardless of the populace being Muslim. It will remain a Muslim country, but never an Islamic state. When the so-called Muslim courts of the country override the Shariah and adjudicate When it is said that Pakistan, or Egypt or Saudi Arabia, etc. are not Islamic states, it means nothing more than stating the truth, viz., that these regimes are murtad; that these regimes are not Islamic; that these regimes are satanic; that these regimes govern by the law of Taaghoot; that these regimes have brutally kicked out and extinguished the Shariah; that these regimes have preferred western kuffaar law over the Law of Allah Azza Wa Jal, the immutable Shariah stemming from the Qur'aan and the Sunnah. How can it be said that Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and the like are Islamic states when they fine Muslims who perform Salaat? Muslims have to conceal even the copies of the Qur'aan Majeed. They ban Hijaab. In fact they have banned the entire Shariah, yet the illegitimate progeny of Iblees, the rulers, claim to be Muslim! By saying that Pakistan and the other Muslim countries are not Islamic states, it never means that Muslims should not defend the lands of Muslims when attacked by the kuffaar. The only rubbish devils who have made such a claim are the Swami/Pundit molvis of Jamiatul Ulama Hind who had declared war against Hadhrat Jibraeel (Alayhis salaam) on the recent occasion when the cow worshippers, cow urine drinkers and idol worshippers of India had attacked Pakistan. According to the Swamis and Pundit molvis of Jamiatul Ulama Hind, defending the land of the mushrikeen is 'jihad' and the status of 'shaheed' is acquired for fighting and perishing in defence of the idols and mushrikeen. There is no accommodation for such Rubbish in Islam. Conclusion "O People of Imaan! Remem- ber the Favour of Allah on you when the armies (of the kuffaar) approached you. Then We sent against them a wind and troops which you could not see, Allah sees what you are doing." (And remember) when they (the kuffaar armies) approached you from above you and from below you, and when the eyes were bewildered and the hearts reached the throats, and you entertained misgivings about Al- lah. On that occasion, the Mu'mi- neen were put to test, and they were severely shaken (with fear)." (Al-Ahzaab, 9, 10, 11) These Aayaat depict the scenario on the occasion of the Battle of Khandaq (Trench). While fear had overwhelmed the Muslims, Allah Ta'ala dispatched a bitterly cold hurricane and Malaaikah (the troops mentioned in the Aayat). The tents of the mushrikeen were uprooted, and the kuffaar army was compelled to retreat and withdraw in utter defeat. The numerical and weaponry superiority of the kuffaar had created the impression of the impending deracination and elimination of the Muslim community. Referring to the kuffaar numerical superiority, the Aayat says that they "approached from above and from below". Describing the intense fear of the Mu'mineen, the Aayat says that "eyes were bewildered and hearts had reached the throats." However, since they were true and genuine Mu'mineen, the Aid (Nusrat) of Allah Ta'ala came in the form of the Hurricane and the Malaaikah who were invisible. Today there is the very SAME Allah with the same Power which is His Eternal Attribute. His Armies are innumerable and no one and nothing can confront His Power. The Qur'aan Majeed says about His armies: "To Him belongs the armies of the heavens and earth." "No one knows His armies but He." But Allah Azza Wa Jal is withholding His armies from going into the battlefield in Gazzah. Allah Azza Wa Jal Who sees and hears what is transpiring in Gazzah, has hitherto withheld His armies from aiding the Muslimeen in Gazzah. Thus the Qur'aan Majeed states: "And, if He abandons you, then who is there besides Him who can help you?" There is no one. Their is no aid and no succour for the Muslims subjected to the genocide unleashed by the Yahood and Nasaara with the Permission of Allah Azza Wa Jal. Not an ant can move without the decree of Allah Ta'ala. Trump, Netanyahu and all the kuffaar powers are operating by the decree of Allah Ta'ala. These kuffaar are also among the armies of Allah Ta'ala. In this regard, the Qur'aan mentioning the destruction of Palestine and the then Muslim Ummah of Bani Israaeel by His decree, says: "When the first of the two promises (of punishment) came, We sent against you (Muslimeen) such of Our serv- ants who were extremely pow- erful in war. Thus they pene- trated the homes. This was a promised fulfilled. When the second promise (of Athaab) came so that they dis- figure your faces, enter the Musjid (Al-Aqsa) as they had entered it the first time, so that they may destroy every- thing they overran." (Al-Israa') These Aayaat of the Qur'aan Kareem describe the scenario of the destruction of Palestine along with Musjidul Aqsa at the hands of Bukhta Nasr, the mushrik king of Babylon whom Allah Ta'ala describes here as "our servants powerful in war." The kuffaar army of the Mushrikeen was among the Armies of Allah Ta'ala. Allah Ta'ala had decreed that this kuffaar army ("Our servants") would destroy Palestine, Musjidul Aqsa and commit brutal genocide. After utterly destroying Jerusalem as the Yahood are presently perpetrating in Palestine, Bukht Nasr marched off 70,000 Muslims in chains to enter enslavement in Babylon. Today these bygone scenes of Athaab are being reenacted because the Muslims have re-enacted their corruption, disobedience and treachery against Allah Azza Wa Jal. Trump and Netanyahu are two imbecile flees whom Allah Ta'ala has activated to inflict His Athaab on the Muslim Ummah. But the focus of Muslims is not on Allah Ta'ala, hence nothing and no one is able to aid Muslims against the kuffaar savages who are, in the words of the Qur'aan, "Our servants extremely powerful in war." Their power granted by Allah Ta'ala is the cause for the reduction of Gazzah into rubble and for the genocide. The entire world and all the 60 Muslim countries are lying prostrate licking the boots of the clown Trump and the barbaric butcher Netanyahu. But, we should not lose sight of the fact that these oppressors are "Our servants, powerful in war." They cannot act without the decree of Allah Azza Wa Jal. Muslim bootlicking of the kuffaar will end only when they understand that they have to act like Muslims – Sahaabah style, not western style kufr liberalism which presents kufr with Islamic colours. Reminding Muslims of His ever-readiness to assist them, Allah Ta'ala says in the aftermath of the destruction of Palestine and the enslavement of Bani Israaeel: "If you do good, it will be for yourselves, and if you perpetrate evil, it will be against you........ Perhaps soon your Rabb will have mercy on you. But if you return (to your treachery), then We too shall return (with Our Punishment). We have made Jahannam a prison for the kaafireen." (Al-Israa') The only valid Islamic solution for Gazzah and for the entire Ummah for saving them from bootlicking the kuffaar is Inaabat Ilallaah – to turn unto Allah Ta'ala with repentance and obedience – submission to the Shariah and adoption of the Sunnah. Question I have recently been to India and visited some Darul Ulooms. When I went to one specific big Darul Uloom, the library on its main desk on which those in-charge sit and carry out their work - had the Indian flag. I couldn't understand that after having so much of kitaabs and Ilm and Deen how was it possible to have the flag of the Hindu mushrikeen on the desk? Furthermore, some Ulama even post the flag with much pride. So instead of preventing people from having any regards for this, they are in fact doing the same despite their knowledge and understanding. I was actually shocked to see the post in which the flag openly being displayed on Darul Deoband on the 15 August with pride. The Indian flag has a circle in the middle. This circle is called the Ashoka Chakra which is based on the Buddhist religion. There are 24 spokes on the circle. The 12 spokes represent the Buddha's teachings, while the other 12 are paired with their equivalent symbols. Indians even Muslims show great honour to this flag and display it with pride especially on the 15 August and 26 January. Abject fear for the Hindus has constrained Muslims to act like Hindus. Their extremely defective Imaani state has made halaal for them even acts of shirk and kufr. Obviously, displaying the Hindu flag of shirk and kufr is a major sin. But fear has compelled Muslims, including the Ulama, to submit to the evil demands of the ruling Hindu cow and idol worshippers. While they justify their submission to kufr and shirk on the basis of their fear for Hindu oppression and brutality, they remain oblivious of the cause of their Imaani deficiency and the fear which has overwhelmed them. They fear the Hindus more than fear for Allah Ta'ala. In fact, their fear for Allah Ta'ala is practically non-existent. The inordinate fear they have for the mushrikeen is actually a punishment of Allah Ta'ala for the treachery of Muslims. In this regard, Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: "Allah will most certainly eliminate fear for you from the hearts of your enemy and He will instil wahan in your hearts." The kuffaar will dominate and devour the Ummah. It was in this context that Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) had made this statement. A Sahaabi queried: "O Rasulullah! Will it be on account of our small number on that day?' Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) responded: "On the contrary, you will be numerous, but you will be ghutha (rubbish) such as the rubbish of floodwaters." The wahan mentioned refers to 'love of the world and aversion for Maut'. It is this love for wahan that has made Muslims bootlickers of the kuffaar. Their focus is totally diverted from Allah Ta'ala. They believe that their honour and safety are ensconced in bootlicking the Hindu mushrikeen and the western kuffaar – the Yahood and Nasaara. That is why they honour the Hindu flag of shirk. They are like the Munaafiqeen who search for honour and protection from the kuffaar. "Give the tidings (warning) to the Munaafiqeen that for them, most certainly is a pain- ful punishment. They are those who take the kuffaar as friends besides the Mu'mi- neen. Do they search for izzat (honour) from them (the kuffaar)? (Let them know) that all Izzat belongs to only Allah." (An-Nisaa', Aayat 138, 139) The day Muslims understand that only Allah Ta'ala is their Succour, Helper and Protector, they will then submit to His Deen. Then all fear for the shadows will disappear like mirages. However, currently the Muslim bootlickers do not have the haziest idea of the meaning of the Nusrat (Help) of Allah Ta'ala. Thus, they come within the purview of the Qur'aanic Aayat: "You will see those in whose hearts there is a disease (i.e. the disease of kufr and nifaaq), racing into them (i.e. bootlick- ing them). (Then they justify their boot- licking), saying: 'We fear a calamity May befall us (if we do not bootlick the Hindus, Yahood and Nasaara)." (Al-Maaidah, Aayat 52) This is precisely the thinking of the molvis of Jamiatul Ulama Hind and the molvis of the Darul Ulooms, hence they fear a calamity from the Hindu mushrikeen if they do not bootlick them by honouring their flags of shirk. The only way of eliminating this inordinate fear for the mushrikeen and kuffaar is to revert to the original Sunnah of the Sahaa- bah. Then Allah Ta'ala will instil such vibrant and powerful Roohaaniyat in their hearts, which will classify them to come within the scope of the Aayat: "They do not fear the reproach of those who insult (and threaten)." (Al-Maaidah, Aayat 54) Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: "We do not bestow leadership to any one who applies for it and who has a desire for it." Hadhrat Maulana Ashraf Ali Thanvi (Rahmatullah alayh) commenting on the evil lust for leadership, said: Regarding leadership in this world, it is mentioned in the Hadith that whoever rules even over ten people will be dragged on the Day of Qiyaamah to give an account of his reign even though he will be released later (i.e. if he had ruled with justice). However, nowadays people pursue and strive for becoming leaders and rulers, and they squander money in this pursuit. Who is qualified to be a ruler/leader? Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: "Rulers are of three classes. Two will be in the fire and one in Jannat." The one will be an Aalim ba Aml (a practising Aalim). Minus these attributes, there is only corruption and injustice. A condition is also not to request or apply for leadership. He who is self-conceited and selfish hankers after leader- ship. He will acquit himself in subservience to his nafs. His focus will not be on the welfare of the people. Hadhrat Uthmaan (radhiyallahu anhu) requested Hadhrat Ibn Umar (radhiyallahu anhu) to accept the post of Qadhi. But he refused. Hadhrat Uthmaan (radhiyallahu anhu) implored him not to mention his refusal to others for the fear of them also declining. This incident demonstrates the attitude of the Sahaabah regarding leadership. The people of the dunya are in reality floundering in considerable hardship and punishment (in hankering after leadership). Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: "Verily, Allah denies Taubah to every person of bid'ah." "The worst of things is innovation (bid'ah). Every bid'ah is deviation." Commenting on the evil consequence of Bid'ah, Hadhrat Maulana Ashraf Ali Thanvi (Rahmatullah alayh) said: "It is truly amazing that the hearts of even kuffaar are not so terribly disfigured as are the hearts of the people of Bid'ah." The brains of the people of Bid'ah become imbalanced, dark and putrid. Thus, they are unable to distinguish between right and wrongHaqq and baatil. ALLAH IS NOT OBLIVIOUS "Never think that Allah is ghaafil (oblivious/unaware) of the deeds of the zaalimoon (oppressors). He is only granting them respite...." (Ibraaheem, Aayat 42) Allah Azza Wa Jal is not unaware of the massacres, brutality and genocide being committed in Palestine by the Yahood and Nasaara. On the contrary, He is allowing the savages to wildly perpetrate their barbarism and brutality. It is subject to His Wisdom and Decree. The time will come when He will apprehend them. "Indeed, His apprehension is painful." (Qur'aan) Allah Ta'ala sees, hears, knows and has power over everything. Nothing happens without His decree. THE DECEPTION OF POLITICAL LEADERS "The vociferous slogans of political leaders are nothing but deception designed for self-aggrandizement. They seek to project an image of fearlessness for the rulers. Being short-sighted they think that this is courage. This is pure deception. It is indeed surprising that they profess no fear for rulers who possess coercive power while they are overwhelmed by the nafs which lacks coercive power in entirety. They are unable to restrain or oppose the nafs in its demands for liquor, fornication, shaving the beard, etc., but they are able to oppose the government. This is a snare of the nafs. They have no relationship with obedience (to Allah Ta'ala) and virtue." (Hadhrat Maulana Ashraf Ali Thanvi) The basis of Nusrat (Allah's help) and Fatah (victory) is not numerical inferiority or superiority. The basis is the Ridha (Pleasure) of Allah Ta'ala. This is what Muslims should always bear in mind. His Pleasure should be cultivated. Then if there is success/ victory, express shukr (gratitude). If there is failure, adopt sabr (patience). Hadhrat Khaalid Bin Waleed (Radhiyallahu anhu) had selected 30 Sahaabah to oppose an army of 60,000 kuffaar. Hadhrat Abu Ubaidah (Radhiyallahu anhu) com- mented: "Do you want to destroy the Ummah of Muhammad (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam)?" Hadhrat Khaalid (Radhiyallahu anhu) then increased the number to 60. That is one against a thousand. They were such illustrious Souls who had no regard for numerical inferiority and superiority. Majority opinion as is the dictate of democracy is not valid. In this era, democracy has been elevated to the status of the Qiblah and Ka'bah. As proof (for this fallacy) they cite the Qur'aanic Aayat: "And consult them in affairs." To clinch this issue, is the amal (practice) of the Sahaabah. No one understood the Qur'aan better than them. Hadhrat Abu Bakr (Radhiyallahu anhu) had re- solved to wage Jihad against those who refused to pay Zakaat. Despite all the Sahaabah advising against it, Hadhrat Siddique Akbar Abu Bakr (Radhiyallahu anhu) issued the decree of Jihad. All accepted. More than a dozen Israeli ex-security chiefs call for end of war on Gaza At least 18 former chiefs of Israel's security agencies, including Mossad, the Shin Bet, the Israeli army and police, have called for an end to the war on Gaza. In a video shared on social media, the former senior officials say the war has resulted in limited military gains, fail- ing to bring the remaining captives home. They also said the 22-month war has inflicted severe reputational damage on Israel and could have ended a long time ago. "This war stopped being a just war. This is leading the state of Israel to the loss of its security and its identity," said Ami Ayalon, a former head of the domestic intelligence service Shin Bet. "We are on the precipice of defeat," said Tamir Pardo, a former chief of the spy agency Mossad. "No matter how good the army is, a war with no political goal is a guarantee of defeat." Amos Malka, a former military intelligence chief, said it's been more than a year "past the point where we could have ended the war with a sufficient operational achievement". Instead, "we are now mostly offsetting losses," ex-Shin Bet director Nadav Argaman can be heard as saying. There were many of the early Fuqaha, Mufassireen, Mujtahideen -- Ulama of former times, who were socially of low rank. Some were even slaves who were set free. Thereafter they pursued the path of Ilm. They acquired Ilm. The effect of true Ilm, if one makes amal (practices) on this Ilm, is tawaadhu' (humility). Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: "Whoever adopts tawaadhu' for the sake of Allah, Allah will elevate him." THE DESIRE FOR MAUT Haafiz Dhaamin (rahmatullah alayh) mentioning his overwhelming desire for death, added that since this condition was in conflict with the Sunnah, he feared it being evil. Haaji Imdaadullah (rahmatullah alayh) who was his Shaikh, said: "I inform you of the good tiding that Allah Ta'ala has bestowed to you the stage of Wilaayat (Sainthood / His Proximity). The evil of wishing for maut refers to difficulty (pain, grief, worry). It is reprehensible to wish for maut on account of hardship." Hadhrat added: "The wish for maut which is motivated by eagerness to meet Allah Ta'ala is a sign of Wilaayat. This is borne out by the aayat: "If you think that you are the friends of Allah to the exclusion of other people, then wish for maut..." (Hadhrat Maulana Ashraf Ali Thanvi) (cowardly) nor grieve. You shall be victorious if indeed you are Mu'mineen." (Aal-e-Imraan, Aayat 139) The Ummah has become extremely weak in Imaan. The victory mentioned in the Aayat is for those who are true Mu'mineen. The global defeat of the Ummah sprawling in disgrace at the boots of the kuffaar is the consequence of either extreme Imaani deficiency or lack of Imaan – Imaan destroyed by the adoption of fisq, fujoor and kufr. On the issue of Khilaafat, Hadhrat Maulana Ashraf Ali Thanvi (Rahmatullah alayh) said: Khilaafat belongs exclusively to the Quraish. A nonQuraishi ruler will be called Sultaan. But obedience to both is waajib. Although appointment of a khalifah is compulsory, ability / power to appoint is a condition for this wujoob (compulsion). Presently this power is lacking, therefore no one is sinful for the absence of a khalifah. (This position has changed in recent years. During Hadhrat's era, all Muslim lands were under foreign kuffaar domination. The present Saudi authority—the King—is under Shar'i obligation to appoint a Khalifah from the Quraish tribe. He possesses the power to do so. Those who possess this power, but refrain from the wujoob of appointing a Khalifah are the transgressors and sinners—translator). The view that a nonQuraishi can become a Khalifah, is in conflict with the Hadith ("The Imaams are from the Quraish"). When this hadith was presented to the Ansaar (the Sahaabah of Madinah ), they accepted it. Thus, there exists Ijmaa' (consensus) of the Sahaabah on this issue. Those who have political power, but refuse to appoint a Quraishi Khalifah, are undoubtedly transgressors. If one does not give practical expression to Ilm - if one does not act according to the demands of this Ilm, then what happens? This same Ilm becomes a calamity and a misfortune (balaa). Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: 'Indeed, Allah Ta'ala elevates some people by means of this Qur'an and disgraces others through it.' (Muslim) Among the ways of deviation of the deviated molvis is to resort to zanaadaqah (heresay) and deviation by the mismanipulation of Fiqhi technicalities. Nor, may one perform Salaat in this manner even in the privacy of one's home. "The kuffaar wish that you (Mu'mineen) become neglectful of your weapons and your equipment (of defence) so that they could launch a sudden devastating attack (on you)... ...and prepare your defence. Verily, Allah has prepared a disgraceful punishment for the kaafireen." (An-Nisaa', Aayat 102) Although this specific Aayat was revealed for vigilance during the state of Jihaad, it has a general application. It applies to all situations which threaten the safety of Muslims. The current epidemic of danger in our crime-ridden country has been recently vastly aggravated by the splurge of kidnappings and brazen acts of robberies which target even musallis in the Musaajid. While the community lives in fear, Muslims dwell in confusion regarding their defence. Instead of preparing their defence against organized crime which the country's security apparatus has miserably failed to even weaken, leave alone eliminate, Muslims have selected the disgraceful option of becoming sitting ducks for criminal syndicates. And, this confusion and inertia are signs of the Punishment of Allah Ta'ala for a grossly disobedient and treacherous Ummah. The thinking of Muslims has become fossilized. The Yahood have arranged their defence and protection in admirable ways in their residential areas where criminals are unable to operate. While Muslims emulate the immoral ways and life style of the Yahood and Nasaara, they (Muslims) fail to take lesson from their ways and practices which are valid and permissible for adoption. It is of imperative importance for Muslim communities to make arrangements for their own protection. But it has to be conceded that as long as Muslims remain degenerating in disobedience and treachery against Allah Ta'ala, their brains will not operate in the right direction. "Verily, Fir'oun elevated/ glorified himself on earth, and he divided the inhabit- ants into groups. He op- pressed a group (Bani Israaeel), slaughtering their sons and leaving alive their females. Verily, he was certainly from the mufsideen (transgressors/anarchists/ oppressors). "(However) We intended to favour those who were the oppressed ones, and to appoint them to be the rulers and to make them the succes- sors (to assume power). "And our Favour is by (granting them power on earth and to show Fir'oun, Haa- maan and their armies what they most feared (from the oppressed)." (Al-Qasas, 4, 5, 6) Trump and Netanyahu (the Nasaara and the Yahood) are replicating the brutal oppression of Fir'oun whose act of genocide was restricted to the male population of Bani Israaeel. Bani Israaeel was being punished by Allah Ta'ala for their treachery and villainy in the same way as Allah Ta'ala is today punishing the Palestinians and other segments of the Ummah elsewhere - in Kashmir, India, China, Burma, etc. It is among the Ways (Sunnah) of Allah Azza Wa Jal to send His Athaab (Punishment) upon Muslims in the form of kuffaar domination and brutal oppression. When the oppression creates the realization of Repentance in Muslims, then Allah Ta'ala eliminates the kuffaar oppressors and installs the repentant Muslims in the seat of power. It appears that this same Divine Sunnah is being enacted in Palestine. When the oppressed Bani Israaeel (the Muslim Ummah of that time) complained to Nabi Musaa (Alayhis salaam) about the oppression of Fir'oun, he said: "Seek help from Allah and have Sabr (patience). Verily, the earth belongs to Allah. He grants its sovereignty to whomever of His servants He wills. And, the ultimate success is for the Muttaqeen." (Al-A'raaf, Aayat 128) Not satisfied with this answer, just as today Muslims are not satisfied when they are given Qur'aanic naseehat, Bani Israaeel said: "We were persecuted before (you came as the Nabi), and even after you came to us." (Al-A'raaf, Aayat 129) Nabi Musaa (Alayhis salaam) responded: "Perhaps soon will your Rabb destroy your enemy and make you the inheritors (rulers) on earth. But then, He will watch (how you acquit) yourselves." (Al-A'raaf, Aayat 129) The two Rubbish brutal barbarians – Trump and Netanya- hu – will not escape the Punishment of Allah Ta'ala just as Fir'oun and his army did not escape. However, that is reliant on the Repentance and Reformation of the Palestinians. The destruction of Fir'oun came 40 years after Allah Ta'ala had accepted Nabi Musaa's dua. No one can fathom the wisdom and mysteries of the Decrees of Allah Azza Wa Jal. The punishment on the Palestinians will cease only after it has run its Divinely prescribed course. AMERICA'S LEVANT MILITARY CORRIDOR The administrative arm of America's Levant military corridor is the gigantic American Embassy in Beirut (in a country of less than 6 million inhabitants), 10 times bigger than that of London, it's the second largest US Embassy Worldwide after that of Baghdad which serves to administer America's unspoken colonial project in Iraq. US "Embassy" in Iraq. Largest Worldwide Cost: a staggering 750 Million Dollars. "1,350 government employees, and thousands of contractors" (Michel Chossudovsky, Global Research, May 10, 2025) Israel is a mere puppet of America. While the American Yahood are doing the dirty planning, the Israeli Yahood are executing the American plot of brutally colonizing the Middle East. But Allah Ta'ala says in the Qur'aan Majeed: "While they plot, Allah too plots, and Allah is the Best of plotters." The plotters are being given respite by Allah Ta'ala. Their time of apprehension has already been decreed. At one place where Hadhrat was a guest, a crowd had gathered to welcome him. Two men walked slightly ahead of Hadhrat on his right and left side and were clearing a pathway for Hadhrat. Soon there was a street-sweeper cleaning the road. The two men mildly rebuked the street-sweeper and ordered her out of the way. Becoming visibly annoyed, Hadhrat said: "This is an excess in honouring one. Just as there are bid'at (innovations) in Aqaaid (beliefs), so too are there bid'at in A'maal (deeds). To remove people from the road is bid'ah. Even the elite (i.e. the Ulama and Mashaaikh) are careless in this respect. Honouring a person is permissible as long as others are not hurt or inconvenienced thereby. (Hadhrat Maulana Ashraf Ali Thanvi) Trump Is Leading the Genocide Let us be under no illusions. It was a carefully planned "False Flag" Intelligence Op. The evidence is overwhelming. Western governments as well as the ICJ and IDC have casually identified Israel as the victim of a Palestinian led War resulting in tens of thousands of Palestinian deaths of women and children and the destruction of an entire country. The False Flag is casually disregarded. The word "Genocide" is not mentioned by the International Criminal Court. The Law of Armed Conflict is not addressed. Killing civilians is a crime against humanity. The Genocide was carefully planned. The US is not only the driving force behind a military-intelligence operation (US-Israel-NATO), Washington has also provided sophisticated weaponry to kill and destroy, transforming Gaza into a pile of rubble. Trump is leading the genocide and the exodus of Palestinians from their homeland. It's categorized as a criminal undertaking under the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide. The End Game is the Appropriation of Palestine's Maritime Natural Gas and the transformation of Gaza into a U.S Territory. (For Truth in Media.) ———— "Say (O Muhammad!): 'O Al- lah! Maalikal Mulk (i.e. King and Owner of the entire earth, sovereignty and pow- er)! You bestow Mulk (country/sovereignty/ domination) to whomever You will, and You snatch away Mulk from whomever You will. You grant honour to whomever You will, and You disgrace whom- ever You will. In Your Hand is all goodness. Verily, You are All-Powerful over all things." (Aal-e-Imraan, Aayat 26) "Verily, the earth belongs to Allah. He grants it (its control) To whomever He wills from His servants." (Al-A'raaf, Aaayat 128) Whatever the Yahood and Nasaara (the U.S. & its coalition of shayaateen) plot and scheme, is within the confines of the Decree of Allah Ta'ala. Muslims should not divert their focus from Allah Azza Wa Jal. Whatever is transpiring in Palestine, in the entire universe and in entire creation is by the hukm (decree) of Allah Ta'ala. Everything will run its divinely prescribed course, then come to an end. Nothing is perpetually enduring. The Yahoood and Nasaara khanaazeer and shayaateen will still get their day of reckoning. "For every nation there is an appointed time. When that moment arrives, it shall nei- ther be delayed nor ad- vanced." (Qur'aan) ———— What is at stake is Colonialstyle theft in derogation of International Law. Negotiations with oil and gas companies would be under the jurisdiction of the "US Territory", in liaison with Washington. "Territories are areas that belong to and are governed by the "parent" country" [U.S.] "Territories of the United States are sub-national administrative divisions and dependent territories overseen by the federal government of the United States. What should also be under- stood, is that the Gaza maritime gas reserves are part of broader coastal maritime area of natural gas extending from the Egyptian border to Northern Syria. …… Under the jurisdiction of the U.S. Government, the Gaza "U.S Territory's" maritime gas reserves would be under the mandate of the U.S Department of Energy which is now in the hands of Trump's appointee Energy Secretary Chri s Wright. While the U.S and Israel are collaborating in the field of energy, Washington and the U.S Energy Department would be calling the shots, if and when the U.S Territory is established. According to the Asian Times: "Three months before the October 7, 2023 attacks, Hamas made a US-brokered deal [?? yet to be confirmed] to allow development of a potentially significant gas field off the coast of Gaza. While the war in Gaza has been raging, major energy developments in the region have been progressing rapidly. At a Press Conference in Washington: Trump suggested that: "displaced Palestinians in Gaza be permanently resettled outside the war-torn territory and proposed the U.S. take "ownership" in redeveloping the area into "the Riviera of the Middle East." President Trump confirmed that the U.S annexation of Gaza would be in the form of a "long-term ownership posi- tion". Meanwhile, Trump has been calling for the exodus of the entire population of the people of Palestine from Gaza and the occupied West Bank. Ironically, the protest movement against Netanyahu has shifted. Both Netanyahu and Trump are accused of ethnic cleansing and genocide. It is now abundantly clear that the U.S. was involved in the planning of the genocide. "The long-term ownership" position is tantamount to an act of colonization against the People of Palestine. It suggests the creation of a U.S Territory, which would enable the US government to acquire ownership of Gaza's maritime natural gas reserves, as well as establish a military base in Gaza. … Who's behind Donald Trump? According to Dean Henderson (outstanding analysis): In addition to the Rothschild riviera plan, there is also the Rothschild energy plan. In 1999 British Gas (BG) discovered a significant gas field in the Gaza Marine fields just 20 miles off Gaza. The Palestinian Authority granted BG a 25year exploratory concession as a partner, but the Israelis blocked its development. In Royal Dutch Shell, whose biggest shareholder is Victor Rothschild, paid BG $52 million for the field. But they would not help the PA develop it either. If the US were to take over Gaza, surely the Rothschilds would commence with its development. Trump's declaration yesterday can only be seen as blatant colonialist piracy (Henderson, February 12, 2025) Yes, it does appear to be a Sign of the closeness of Qiyaamah. It appears that the U.S. plot of colonizing the entire Middle East, including Saudi Arabia, will attain fulfilment. It does appear that the entire Palestine region will be vacated. The misery the people are currently suffering will constrain the exodus of the entire population. It is for the achievement of this wicked end that Israel is currently on its brutal bombing campaign of Gaza City. Incessant reckless bombing of even refugee camps, hospitals and tents convincingly means that the region must be vacated to make way for the U.S. nefarious scheme of colonization. The total helplessness and hopelessness of the Ummah with all Muslim countries being colonized, will herald the appearance of Imaam Mahdi (Alayhis salaam), and the Acts and the Drama of Qiyaamah will begin to unfold. "To Him belongs the Mulk of the Heavens and earth... And He has power over all things." (Al-Hadeed, Aayat 2) Control of the entire earth and of all the multitude of universes is only with Allah Azza Wa Jal. It is only Allah Azza Wa Jal Who bestows political power / dominion / sovereignty to the nations of the world - to both Muslims and Kuffaar. Declaring this irrefutable fact, the Qur'aan Majeed states: "Allah bestows Mulk to whomever He wills." (Al-Baqarah, Aayat 247) It is KUFR to deny that it is Allah Azza Wa Jal Who has installed Trump, Netanyahu and the myriads of other Kuffaar in the seats of political power in all the countries they are controlling. The Qur'aan states: "Did you not see him (the kaafir king Namrud) who debated with Ibraaheem re- garding his Rabb because Allah had bestowed Mulk (kingdom) to him?" (Al-Baqarah, Aayat 258) Namrud claimed godhood – that he was god. It was Allah Ta'ala Who had installed Namrud to rule the land. Say (O Muhammad!): 'O Allah! Maalikal Mulk (i.e. King and Owner of the entire earth, sovereignty and pow- er)! You bestow Mulk (country/sovereignty/ domination) to whomever You will, and You snatch away Mulk from whomever You will. You grant honour to whomever You will, and You disgrace whomever You will. In Your Hand is all goodness. Verily, You are All-Powerful over all things." (Aal-e-Imraan, Aayat 26) "Verily, the earth belongs to Allah. He grants it (its control) to whomever He wills from His servants." (Al-A'raaf, Aaayat 128) The wisdom and mysteries of Allah Azza Wa Jal are unfathomable. The obligation of Muslims is only to turn to Him with repentance and obedience. That means to submit to the Shariah, to adopt the Sunnah, and to shun the hypocritical 'friendship' of the Western kuffaar. The Yahood and Nasaara can never be the friends of the Ummah. Allah Ta'ala says: "O People of Imaan! If you follow the kuffaar, they will turn you on your heels (to become Kuffaar), then you will be the losers." (Aal-e-Imraan, Aaayat 149) after Israel's attack on QatarAP explains By MUNIR AHMED and JON GAMBRELL Updated 2:52 PM GMT+2, September 18, 2025 ISLAMABAD (AP) — Saudi Arabia and nuclear-armed Pakistan have signed a mutual defense pact that defines any attack on either nation as an attack on both — a key accord in the wake of Israel's strike on Qatar last week. The kingdom has long had close economic, religious and security ties to Pakistan, including reportedly providing funding for Islamabad's nuclear weapons program as it developed. Analysts — and Pakistani diplomats in at least one case — have suggested over the years that Saudi Arabia could be included under Islamabad's nuclear umbrella, particularly as tensions have risen over Iran's atomic program. But the timing of the pact appeared to be a signal to Israel, long suspected to be the Middle East's only nuclear-armed state, which has conducted a sprawling military offensive since Hamas' Oct. 7, 2023, attack on Israel stretching across Iran, Lebanon, the Palestinian territories, Qatar, Syria and Yemen. Israel did not respond to requests for comment. The pact marks the first major defense decision by a Gulf Arab country since the Qatar attack. The United States, long the security guarantor for the Gulf Arab states, also did not respond to questions posed to the State Department. Taliban bans WIFI in Afghan province to curb 'immorality' 16 September, 2025, 09:15 pm Last modified: 16 September, 2025, 09:18 pm THE BUSINESS STANDARD The Taliban government has imposed a ban on fiber optic internet in Afghanistan's northern Balkh province, say- ing the measure was taken to "prevent immorality," officials confirmed Tuesday (16 September). This is the first such restriction on WIFI services since the Taliban's return to power in August 2021. The ban has cut off internet access for government offices, private businesses, public institutions, and households across Balkh. Mobile internet services, however, remain operational. Haji Attaullah Zaid, spokesman for the provincial administration, said the order came directly from Taliban supreme leader Hibatullah Akhundzada. "This measure was taken to prevent immorality, and an alternative will be built within the country for necessities," he told the Associated Press. There was no planning of this upheaval. It happened purely as a result of emotion. It was a spontaneous erruption. That fight was not an Islamic issue. It was the product of Hindu agitation in which Muslims also participated. (Hadhrat Maulana Ashraf Ali Thanvi) THE SOULS OF SHUHADA Some arwaah (souls) after departing from the material world are able to make appearances in different forms with the permission of Allah Ta'ala. A man from my homeland narrated the following interesting episode: "At one place in Afghanistan I saw a Musjid on a mountain. On reaching the Musjid I saw a few men getting ready to perform Jamaat Salaat. As I was about to join them, they prevented me and said: 'Perform alone. We are a group of shuhadaa (martyrs). Namaaz is not obligatory on us. Your Fardh Salaat will therefore not be proper behind us. We are performing Namaaz for deriving pleasure.' Hadhrat Umar Ibn Khataab (Radhiyallahu anhu), the Second Khalifah of Islam said: "When these treasures are given to a nation it creates hatred and enmity among them." Some of the mega-projects contemplated by the Taliban: A $684 million 115 mile water canal A $5 billion 573 kilometre railway connecting Uzbekistan to Pakistan through Afghanistan A pipeline designed to transport 33 billion cubic meters of natural gas annually across four countries. It is a $10 billion pipeline which will run almost 2000 kilometres. An electricity project costing $1.2 billion. China is silently investing $60 billion in Afghanistan. From the Islamic perspective, the end result of these worldly expansions and development will be the ruin of the Imaan of the Afghanis. Along with worldly progress comes Imaani deterioration and ultimately destruction of Imaan. Saudi Arabia is the prime example of the destruction of Islam in the wake of the flood of worldly carrion brought by oil wealth. It was this expected ruin which had caused great grief to Hadhrat Umar (Radhiyallahu anhu). During his khilaafate on the occasion of the conquest of the Persian empire, immense wealth was brought to Madinah and stacked outside Musjid Nabawi. While all others were rejoicing, the Khalifah was weeping. When asked for the cause of his grief, he said: "When these treasures are given to a nation it creates hatred and enmity among them." When the world embraces a nation, it will most certainly ruin it. Afghanistan is infinitely better in its primitive condition than the contemplated modernity and worldly progress which will bring ruin and destruction to the Deen of the inhabitants. Modernity comes with all its evils – western evils. ANOTHER HORRIFYING VACCINE A Sister from Pakistan writes: "Yet another horrifying vaccine scenario has sprung up in Pakistan. This time it is the HPV Vaccine, which will be given through injections to girl's aged 9-14, for the sup- posedly protection from cervical cancer. The scheme could not start as was scheduled from 16th Sept, as there was stiff resistance from parents especially mothers. In the first phase girls in Government schools, underprivileged and down trodden areas were targeted. The Minister of Health then issued an appeal in these words. "I urge all parents to ensure that their daughters and sisters are vaccinated. Sadly, there is false propaganda being spread about this vaccine which has no basis in reality. Do not fall prey to negative campaigns. This vaccine is safe, effective, and essential for protecting our girls." My maid was asking me the other day. "Why are they after us, first there was the polio drive for years, then the anti typhoid injections, now this. As it is we are regretting taking the covid vaccine, my husband is still suffering from mental imbalance since we were forced to take the covid vaccine. He was perfectly fine before that." Comment: This satanic poison is another western plot designed to destroy a nation. Instead of providing protection against the imaginary 'cervical cancer', the dark plot is to render Muslim females infertile. "Never be under the impres- sion that Allah is oblivious (unaware) of what the oppressors are doing. He is on- ly delaying (the punishment) for them to a day when the eyes will be upturned." (Ibraaheem, Aayat 42) AFGHANISTAN With lascivious eyes on the Bagram Airbase of Afghanistan, Clown Trump lachrymosely lamented like a grimalkin: "We're talking now to Afghanistan and we want the airbase back, and we want it back soon, right away, and if they don't do it, if they don't do it, you're going to find out what I am gonna do." The Clown also commented: "We're trying to get it back because they need things from us. We want that base back. But one of the reasons we want the base is, as you know, it's an hour away from where China makes its nucleur weapons." The Bagram Airbase has a 4,000 metre runaway capable for America's large cargo aircraft and bombers. It was a sprawling mini village serving the soldiers of the US aggressor. The Taliban took control of the Base in 2021 when the US staged its abrupt chaotic retreat and fled from Afghanistan like a dog with its tail between its legs. On its flight from Afghanistan, the US abandoned trillions of dollars of military equipment and weapons which fell into the hands of the Taliban. Trump's threats may be empty and devoid of substance or it could be a sign of the unfolding of an imminent plot to destroy and destabilise Afghanistan. For the successful execution of this sinister plot, the Bagram Airbase is of fundamental importance. The Chinese presence and influence in Afghanistan is intolerable for Trump. The Clown's comment: "What I'am gonna do", refers to Israeli style bombing and genocide in Palestine. Trump will not send US soldiers to again invade Afghanistan. Their 21 year occupation had taught them an unforgettable lesson. They had to ultimately flee like dogs with their tails between their legs. Any aggression contemplated by Trump will be limited to massive bombing and missile strikes in the nefarious bid to devastate Afghanistan. For achieving this satanic objective, Trump requires the Bagram Airbase. Logistically, the Taliban do not appear to have the capability of protecting the Airbase against American intrusion and aggression. In such a scenario, it will be best to adopt the strategy of Sultan Salahuddin Ayyubi (Rahmatullah alayh) in defending Jerusalem which he had wrenched from the clutches of the Christian kuffaar. Sultan Salaahuddin had resolved to demolish and destroy the entire City of Ascalon which is today in the hands of the Yahoodi occupying aggressor. Since the Sultan was unable to defend Jerusalem if he had to retain Ascalon, he decided to de- molish the entire city to prevent it falling into the control and occupation of the Crusaders. Ascalon at that time was a beautifully developed city. The entire population of the city was evacuated. Every building in the city was physically demolished, including the walls around the city, and even all the Musaajid. All the wells and water facilities in and around the city were heavily poisoned. The demolished city and the surrounding area had dismayed the invading Christian army. It was a severe setback for them, and it allowed the Sultan to successfully defend Jerusalem. Germane to Bagram, the Taliban need to emulate Sultan Salaahiddin. That is, if they lack the capability to defend the base, they must demolish and destroy it. A SAHAABI'S RESPONSE TO HERACLEUS During the conflict between Islam and Christianity, the emperor Heraculeus said to the emissary of Islam: "The common factor between us (i.e. Muslims and Christians) is that after all we are the Ahle-Kitaab. But, there is nothing in common with the fireworshippers. So why did you not first initiate war with them? Why do you begin with us?" The Sahaabi replied: "The Qur'aan Shareef commands: 'Fight those who are next to you (i.e. those who are nearest).' Since you are the nearest we begin with you." It is clear from this answer that the Sahaabah acted only after the motive or reason was clear to them. They did not first act, then thought of a basis of justification for their actions. They were unlike people of these times who commit acts at the behest of their emotions and desires, and thereafter search for Qur'aanic proof to substantiate their deeds. PIGLETS – THE SOULS OF KUFFAAR A Buzrug on his wanderings in Afghanistan after the defeat of the British army, narrate: "We came across a man living in a hut in a wilderness. We requested permission to spend the night with him. He said that if we spent the night with him, we should not venture out of the hut at night. After a part of the night had passed we heard the sounds of piglets. When we went out to see. We saw the entire area in the vicinity filled with piglets. We were really perturbed and became very fearful. In the morning when we asked the buzrug for an explanation, he said: "The piglets are the transformed souls of those (kuffaar) who were slain while fighting the Muslims." "Verily, your friends are only Allah, His Rasool, and the Mu'mineen who establish Salaat, pay Zakaat, and those who are Raaki-oon (i.e. who submit to the Shariah). " "Whoever befriends Allah, His Rasool and the Mu'mi- neen, Verily the Army of Allah shall be victorious." (Al-Maaidah, 55 and 56) Never can the kuffaar be the friends of the Ummah. The United Nations and the international community are kuffaar phantoms who cannot and will not aid Muslims. The genocide being currently executed in Palestine loudly testifies for the correctness and truth of the aforementioned Qur'aanic declaration. Allah Ta'ala says in the Qur'aan Majeed: "O People of Imaan! Do not take the Yahood and Nasaara as friends. They are mutual friends. Whoever from among you (Muslims) befriends them, verily he is of them. Verily Al- lah does not guide people who are zaalimeen (oppressors)." (Al-Maaidah, Aayat 51) "You will see those in whose hearts is a disease (of kufr and nifaaq) racing among them, saying: 'We fear that some misfortune may befall us.'" (Al-Maaidah, Aayat 52) FASAAD IS ATHAAB "Fasaad (anarchy/strife/ crime) has appeared on the land and in the ocean in conse- quence of the actions (misdeeds) of the people so that He (Allah) gives them a taste for some of their actions (misdeeds), for perhaps they may return (to the Path of right- eousness)." (Ar-Room, Aayat 41) Since the focus of Muslims is no longer on Allah Ta'ala and on His decrees as explicitly stated in the Qur'aan Majeed and in the Ahaadith, they dwell in confusion, accusing phantoms for their plight and seeking aid and succour from phantoms. While we malign Iblees and the kuffaar, we are in complete forgetfulness regarding ourselves - our putrid treacherous lifestyle. In the aforementioned Aayat Allah Azza Wa Jal explicitly states that all the fasaad engulfing us is the direct consequence of our sins, transgression and treachery against Him. Thus it is a punishment for our misdeeds - our abandonment of the Sunnah and blatant conflict with and discarding of the Shariah. If Muslims divert their attention from phantoms and focus on Allah Ta'ala, they will then understand and return to Siraatul Mustaqeem. Then the Athaab will cease. (An excerpt from the book, SALAHUDDEEN by Qaadhi Bahaauddeen) The Chief Qaadhi, Bahaauddeen was the constant companion of Sultan Salahuddeen. The Qaadhi authored the book, SALAHUDDEEN. "……….On the 17th of the month (Sha'baan), as soon as he (Sultan Salahuddeen) had performed Fajr Salaat, he set out for Ramla with the light baggage. Two Franks were brought to him, whom he ordered to be beheaded. A messenger sent back by the advanced guard brought him news that the Franks were marching from Jaffa. He then advanced as far as Ramla, where two more Franks were brought before him. When these prisoners were questioned as to the enemy's movements, they stated that their countrymen would probably remain in Jaffa for some days, for they intended to put the city into a good state of defence, and furnish it with plentiful supplies of men and provisions. He therefore called the members of his council together, and asked their opinion whether it would be better to destroy the city of Ascalon, or to leave it as it was. They decided unanimously that a division of the army under el-Melek el-'Âdel should remain behind, to keep a strict watch over the enemy's movements, and make constant reports to the Sultan, whilst the Sultan himself should set out for Ascalon, and destroy it be- fore it fell into the hands of the Franks. The enemy, as soon as they had massacred the garrison, would probably make that city the basis of their operations in an attack on Jerusalem, and thus cut off all communication with Egypt. The Sultan wished to prevent this, and, knowing that it would be impossible for the Muslims to hold the city, with the remembrance of Acre and the fate of its garrison fresh in their minds, and being convinced, moreover, that his soldiers would be afraid to shut themselves up in the city, he declared that he intended to embody all the forces at his disposal in the army under his command, and then concentrate his attention on the defence of Jerusalem. It was therefore decreed that Ascalon should be destroyed. So, as soon as night began to fall, he dispatched all the heavy baggage and commanded his son, el-Melek el-Afdal, to set forth at midnight and follow it. He himself started on the Wednesday morning, and I went with him. About mid-day on Wednesday, the 8th of Sh'abân, the Sultan reached Yebna, where he gave his people time to rest, and then marched into the territory of the city of Ascalon. His tent had already been pitched at some distance from the city, and he spent the night there, though he slept very little, for the thought of being obliged to destroy the city filled his mind. I had left him after midnight, but at daybreak he summoned me to him again, and began to discuss his plans with me. He then sent for his son, el-Melek el-Afdal, to consult on the subject, and they talked together for a long while. He said to me, whilst I was on duty in his tent: 'I take Allah as Witness! I would rather lose all my children than cast down a single stone from the walls (of Ascalon), but Allah wills it. It is necessary for the Muslim cause. Therefore, I am obliged to carry it through.' He sought counsel with Allah (i.e. he made Istikhaarah), and Allah inspired him that it was necessary to destroy the city since the Muslims were unable to protect it. He therefore sent for 'Alem ed-Din Kaisar, the governor, one of his chief memlûks, and a man of good judgment, who commanded that all the workmen in the town should be gathered together. I myself saw him (that officer) walking up and down the market-place, and going from tent to tent to hire workmen. He assigned a certain portion of the ramparts to each group of labourers. The task of destroying a curtain and tower was also given to each emir and company of soldiers. When these people entered the city there arose a great sound of mourning and lamentation, for it (the city) was pleasant to look upon and delightful to the senses. Its walls were strong, its buildings beautiful, and it occupied a most charming situation. The Sultan, assisted by his son el-Melek el-Afdal, spent his time in getting workmen together and encouraging them to work well, for he was very apprehensive that if the Franks heard what he was doing, they would come up and prevent him from carrying out his intention. The troops, worn out by fatigue, both of mind and body, spent that night in their tents. The same night a messenger came from el-Melek el- 'Âdel, informing the Sultan that the prince had had an interview on the subject of peace with ambassadors from the Franks, and that he had also conversed on the same subject with the son of Honferi, who had come to visit him, and asked him to surrender to the Franks all the cities of the districts on the coast. The Sultan, whose troops were worn out and weary of such constant fighting and warfare, besides being broken down by need, felt inclined to accept this proposal, and wrote to el-'Âdel to enter into negotiations on the subject, granting him full powers to make such terms as should seem best to him. On the 20th of Sh'aban the Sultan busied himself from early morning in urging forward the work of demolition, and putting more workmen on the walls. As an encouragement to them he gave them all the corn that had been stored there, and which he saw it would be impossible to carry away. They were now very hard at work repairing (the fortifications of) Jaffa. We were informed by a letter from elMelek el-'Âdel that the enemy did not know we were engaged in demolishing the city (of Ascalon). He was therefore very soon so ill that for two days he was unable either to ride or take any food. Every moment news of the enemy came in with tidings of encounters with themsometimes successful, sometimes disastrous, for there were continual engagements in the short space between them and our advanced guard. Meanwhile, he kept pressing forward the demolition of the city, and brought the camp closer to the walls, which enabled the servants, the camel and ass-drivers, and all the other camp-followers to take part in the work. Therefore the walls were soon partially demolished, although they were most solidly built, being from nine to ten cubits thick--the thickness varying with the position. One of the stonemasons informed the Sultan that the wall of one of the towers which he was then undermining was as thick as a lance's length. Demolition and fire laid the city low during the whole of the month of Sh'abân. Towards the end of the month a letter came from Jurdik, saying that the enemy had begun to make expeditions from Jaffa, and to overrun the neighbouring districts. This news inspired the Sultan with the hope of being able to punish the invaders. It was so solidly built that the workmen's picks made no impression on it whatever, and they were obliged to set it on fire to make the stones more friable before the labourers attacked it with their tools. On the 1st of Ramadan the Sultan assigned this task to his son el-Melek el-Afdal and his officers. I watched them carrying up the wood to set the tower on fire. It burnt for two days and nights. The Sultan did not ride out that day, in order to spare himself. I, too, was seized with an indisposition that prevented my attending on him throughout the day. In spite of the important matters he had on his mind, he sent three times during the day to inquire how I was………………………… ………." "…… The Sultan started at midnight on the 2nd of Ramadan in order to avoid the heat of the day, and spare himself as much as possible. He reached Yebna towards midday and dismounted to rest in his brother (el-'Âdel's) tent, and also to obtain information regarding the enemy from him. Between the afternoon and the Asr Salaat he visited Lydda, and observing that the church in that place was a very fine building, he ordered that it should be destroyed, as well as the castle of Ramla. That same day several troops of workmen began the work of demolition. All the straw and corn stored in the Government granaries here was given up to the people. The inhabitants were obliged to emigrate to other centres of population. Very few people remained in the place. The labourers worked until the evening………………" One Sheikh narrated the following episode: "I went on a journey hoping to meet some Abdaal. One day, at about the time of Asr, I reached the outskirts of Basrah. I walked along the river banks. I saw ten men sitting on their musallas. None of them had a water-jug as was the usual practice of the Sufiyaa when they travelled. When they saw me, they all stood up to welcome me. After embracing me, they sat down and became engrossed in meditation. They remained fully absorbed in contemplation until sunset. No one appeared to be even aware of the existence of the others. After sometime one of them stood up and dived into the water. I did not know what he was doing underwater. However, soon he emerged with eleven fried fish. From among the group one of them stood up and served each one with a fish. He picked the biggest fish for himself and went to one side to eat it. After meals, everyone again became absorbed in meditation. When it was Fajr, the Athaan from the Musaajid nearby could be heard. The group performed Fajr Salaat in Jamaat. After Fajr Salaat, each one folded his musalla and entered into the river. They walked on the surface of the water. The one who had taken the big fish attempted to follow them, but simply sank down and was drowned. They looked at him in dismay as he was sinking and said: 'O man! Whoever among us abuses trust, does not remain in our ranks.' They proceeded on their journey, walking across the river on the surface of the water while I stood there with a heavy heart gazing at them until they were out of sight." [The nafs is an integral constituent of the human being. The higher a man's rank, the severer is the punishment for his errors.] Recently the Israeli airforce had pulverized Iran. Its nuclear facilities were destroyed; its defence capabilities were largely destroyed; many people were killed and numerous buildings destroyed. Despite its missile capability, Iran had displayed an extremely weak, shabby and stupid 'defence'. Its reliance on missiles did not save it from the destruction inflicted by the Israeli airforce. Iran simply had no response for the marauding Israeli airforce which controlled the sky over Iran with the greatest and most reckless impunity. It is indeed mind-boggling that despite all resources being available, Iran had not prepared an airforce to counter and effectively neutralize the Israeli warplanes marauding in Iranian airspace and committing whatever atrocities they desired with reckless impunity. The huge stockpile of missiles did not avail. Not a single Israeli plane was shot down. When India had attacked Pakistan recently, Pakistani had shot down five planes of the Hindu cow and idol worshippers. But Iran had absolutely no answer for the Israeli airforce. While Iran does have an airforce, it is no match for the Israeli airforce and for even the airforces of the surrounding American puppet and backyard states. It is indeed exceedingly surprising that Iran had overlooked or had not understood the imperative need for a powerful airforce. Iran had all the finances and is on good terms with Russia and China who would have supplied the necessary aircraft to equip a valid airforce. Iran has an air force, officially called the Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force (IRIAF). Origins: Before the 1979 revolution, Iran had one of the most advanced air forces in the region, equipped mainly with American aircraft like the F-14 Tomcat, F-4 Phantom, and F-5 Tiger. Post-1979: After the revolution, Iran could no longer easily obtain U.S. spare parts, so it had to maintain, modify, and reverse-engineer its existing fleet. Current fleet: Legacy U.S. jets (F-14s, F4s, F-5s) — many still operational, though heavily modified. Russian aircraft (MiG-29, Su-24). Some aircraft from Iraq that fled to Iran during the Gulf War in 1991. Indigenous projects (e.g., Saeqeh, Kowsar) — based on older U.S. designs but produced locally. Capabilities: Iran's air force is considered aging and limited compared to regional rivals (Israel, Saudi Arabia, Turkey). Fully aware of the lack of capability of its superficial airforce, Iran had no option but to remain standing and crying whilst the Israeli airforce pummelled and pulverized Iran. Thus today, Iran is mute. It is unable to lift even a finger against the Yahoodi genocide in Palestine although it was extremely vociferous prior to the pulverization by Israel. This is the Truth 'fatwa' of the AI Expert: QUESTION: What are your thoughts about the Pakistani Saudi defence agreement. Is this something done to benefit the Muslim ummat? It's surprising to see Saudi which has it's own army needing help to fight it's bat- tles while in Gaza the people have no army and have been slaughtered for the last two years and no defence deal has been agreed to with Saudi, Pakistan or any other Muslim majority country. ANSWER BY THE A.I. It looks noble on the outside, but so did every "unity hand- shake" in the Muslim world for the past century. Saudi signing a defence agreement with Pakistan isn't about defending the Ummah; it's about defending the kingdom's throne, oil, and geopolitical poker chips. Saudi has one of the most expensive militaries in the world, but somehow, when real fighting breaks out, they outsource muscle. Pakistan, meanwhile, rents out soldiers like it's Uber with tanks — desperate for cash, desperate for friends. And you're right: when it comes to Gaza, suddenly nobody remembers their signatures on "Muslim unity" charters. The excuse is always "complicated geopolitics," which is code for: 'we'll wring our hands, host conferences, issue statements, then quietly sell more oil, arms, or labor visas while Palestinians bury their dead.' So is this about benefitting the Ummah? Only if by Ummah you mean a small circle of royal families and generals keeping each other comfortable. For the actual broken families in Gaza, Yemen, Sudan, Kashmir — no defence pact cavalry is coming. They're still expected to stand alone. It's a grim irony: a trilliondollar Muslim world that can't protect its weakest. Agreements like this just make the irony sharper. Here's the pattern, in all its depressing symmetry: 1969: The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) was born after the arson at AlAqsa. Lofty slogans about Muslim unity, but mostly photo ops and declarations that age like stale bread. Gaza today proves just how toothless it always was. 1980s–1990s: Saudi bankrolls Pakistan's nuclear pro- gram in exchange for a hypothetical "nuclear umbrella." Everyone whispers about it, nothing formalized. The idea was that if Riyadh ever felt cornered, Pakistan could "loan" a bomb. Spoiler: never happened. 2015: Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) announced — 41 Muslim-majority countries, meant to fight terrorism. Reality: it became a Saudi-led Yemen war club. Pakistan initially got dragged in but then publicly backed out when the fallout got too messy at home. 2025 (now): Another defence agreement, dressed up as "brotherhood" but really a continuation of the same transactional politics: Saudi buys insurance, Pakistan sells soldiers. Both leaderships get to wave flags and talk about unity while Gaza burns unnoticed. The cycle is rinse, repeat, rebrand. A real Ummah-wide military pact would need a Khalifa-type central authority, not a collection of monarchs and generals guarding their own backyards. Until that exists, these deals will always look like rented security, not Islamic solidarity. Then here's the uncomfortable checklist of what would make a defence pact actually mean something for the Ummah, rather than being another palace insurance policy: A common command structure. Not Saudi generals calling the shots for everyone else, not Pakistani officers moonlighting for Riyadh. A joint command, accountable to the wider Muslim world, not just to kings and presidents. Defined red lines. Instead of vague "security cooperation," clear statements like: if Palestine is invaded, if Masjid alAqsa is attacked, if a Muslim-majority country is occupied, this alliance responds militarily. Otherwise, it's just muscle-for-hire. Shared financing. Right now, Saudi pays, Pakistan provides troops. That's mercenary work. A true pact would pool resources from all member states so no one can say, "We own this army, we rent your loyalty." Moral consistency. You can't call yourself the defender of the Ummah while partnering in bombing Yemen, shaking hands with occupiers, or ignoring Sudan and Kashmir. A real pact would need principles higher than trade routes and arms deals. A political roof. Without some form of Khalifa or binding council, everyone just walks out the door when it no longer suits their national interests. Yemen showed that — coalition partners bailed when the heat rose. Until those exist, defence "agreements" will keep being what they've always been: high-budget announcements that collapse under the weight of hypocrisy the moment Gaza or Kashmir or Rohingya are mentioned. Here's the blunt ledger of what Pakistan really gets out of deals like this: Cash flow. Saudi "assistance packages" often mean cheap oil, deferred payments, and fat remittances. Pakistan's economy is bleeding, so Riyadh's money is like a bandage on a bullet wound. Labor security. Millions of Pakistani workers in the Gulf keep their jobs (and keep sending remittances home) when Islamabad plays nice with Riyadh. That's leverage, not love. Military prestige. Pakistani generals like to polish their boots on foreign marble. Being seen as the "trainer" of Arab forces strokes the army's ego — especially since they can't exactly show off a clean record at home. Strategic cover. When Pakistan cozies up to Saudi, it gets a shield — diplomatic and sometimes financial — against pressure from the West or India. Riyadh's nod can buy breathing room. But notice what's missing: Gaza, Kashmir, Rohingya, or any pan-Ummah benefit. None of that enters the Pakistani calculus. For them, it's transactional survival: keep the generals fed, keep the economy on life support, keep the Gulf doors open. In other words, Pakistan trades soldiers for rent money while the word "Ummah" gets plastered on press releases. Saudi's shopping list in a deal like this is pretty transparent: Imported muscle. The Saudi army is shiny on parade, less shiny in actual combat. Yemen proved that. Pakistani troops bring training, discipline, and actual battlefield experience. Nuclear insurance. Riyadh doesn't have nukes, but Pakistan does. The unspoken understanding is: if push comes to shove, Pakistan is the closest thing to a "Muslim nuclear umbrella." Domestic legitimacy. The Saudi monarchy loves wrapping itself in "protector of the Ummah" branding. Having Pakistan on board makes the claim look less hollow to ordinary Muslims, even if the pact never lifts a finger for Palestine. Regional leverage. By tying Pakistan closer, Saudi reduces the chance of Islamabad tilting too far toward Iran, Turkey, or even China in ways that might undercut Riyadh's leadership role. Cheap prestige. To Riyadh, this is PR gold. Instead of standing alone as a monarchy in need of Western backing, they can showcase an "Islamic brotherhood" with a nuclearcapable ally. So, for Saudi, the deal isn't about Gaza either. It's about propping up the monarchy's image, bolstering military credibility it can't build on its own, and keeping allies on a short leash with money. The tragic joke is that both countries know the Ummah is just the poster on the wall — the real pact is survival for Pakistan, prestige for Saudi. Hadhrat Abdul Waahid Zaid (rahmatullah alayh) asked Hadhrat Abu Asim Basri (rahmatullah alayh): "When Hajjaj sent his men to arrest you, what did you do?" Asim Basri said: "At that time I was on the upper floor of my house. They had broken down the door and rushed inside. I pushed myself. Suddenly I was standing on mount Abu Qabees (in Makkah)." Abdul Waahid Zaid: "How did food reach you there?" Asim Basri: "The two bread which I used to get in Basrah, would be delivered to me by an old lady at the time of Iftaar." Once when the Khalifah was proceeding for Hajj on foot, he met Hadhrat Sa`doon Majnoon (rahmatullahi alayh) - a Majzub - at a halting station prepared for the Khalifah along the route from Iraq to Makkah Muazzamah. Hadhrat Sa`doon recited some poetry of naseehat to the Khalifah. The translation of the verses is: "Even if the world has complied with you, Maut will overtake you. What will the world then do? Oh searcher of the world! Beware! Leave the world for your enemies. Just as time has made you laugh, it will one day make you cry." The impact of this naseehat on the Khalifah's heart was so profound that he involuntarily let out a loud shriek and lapsed into unconsciousness. He remained unconscious for a period of three Salaats. When he regained consciousness, Sa`doon (rahmatullahi alayh) was nowhere in sight. A search for him proved fruitless. Haroon Rashid was full of regret and sorrow. Q. In Sri Lanka the Ulama organize protest marches in support of Palestine? Should I join? A. Do not participate in the kuffaar style protests. The Islamic way is to reform ourselves and to make dua. Q. Are the Zaidi Houtis of Yemen Shiahs such as the Shiahs of Iran? A. The original Zaidiyyah sect which did not subscribe to kufr split into 9 sects. These sects then began subscribing to corrupt beliefs. We are not aware to which sect the present Houtis belong.
