CORRECTION
In our article pertaining to Qatlul Khata’ (Accidental Killing) we had mentioned that the Diyat (Blood Money) has to be paid by the Aaqilah of the killer.
This will apply if the killing takes place in Darul Islam, not in Darul Kufr/Harb. In Darul Kufr/Harb the Diyat penalty has to be paid by the killer himself.
Thus, the one who had accidentally killed the girl whilst hunting is solely liable for the Diyat penalty.
