THE BAND OF HAQ "There will ever remain a band from my Ummah fighting on the Haq until the Day of Qiyaamah. Those who oppose them and those who do not aid them, will not be able to harm them." (Hadith) and blood because the blood of some Taliban fighters remain warm even after death. (Source: Al-Misryoon, Ana, etc.) If all the kuffaar scientists of the world unite to research this wonderful phenomenon of the fragrant bodies of the 'dead' Taliban Mujahideen, they will not be able to solve the 'conundrum'. For Muslims there is no puzzle. The Qur'aan and Ahaadith inform us with clarity that those who are martyred in the Path of Allah are alive and are being sustained by Allah Ta'ala.' Their bodies remain fresh and fragrant. Sometimes Allah Ta'ala manifests this reality for all and sundry to observe. Numerous miraculous episodes regarding the Afghan Jihad have been recorded, not only of the present Jihad against the U.S.A. with its coalition of aggressors, but in all previous Jihad wars in which the Afghans had participated. When a prominent Commander of the Taliban, Shaheed Mullah Abdul Mannaan Ahmad was buried, Ustaadh Yasir said: "Here I give one simple traverse through Jannat enjoying the fruits in the orchards of Jannat. Then they return to lanterns suspended under the Divine Throne of Allah Ta'ala." The Committee of the American Red Cross has released a report on its webpage regarding the bodies of the dead (martyred) Taliban compared to those of foreign forces. The Committee which had the duty of collecting and burying the dead in Mazar Sharif province of Afghanistan was astonished to observe that the bodies of the slain Taliban had not decayed nor gave off any foul odour. According to the report, the investigators initially thought that the cold weather was the reason for this phenomenon. However, this theory was shattered because the bodies of the northern alliance soldiers which were lying in the same area had decayed and were letting off a foul, nauseating smell. The investigators now want to conduct a research on the type of food consumed by the Taliban fighters. The researchers would like to establish if there is a relationship between food example of the Truth of the Taliban's Jihad and the falsehood of the Kabul regime which can be understood by everyone and denied by none. Why is it that our dead (the shuhada) do not decompose nor emit a foul stench? On the contrary, their bodies emit a pleasant fragrance of musk whereas the dead of our opposition rot and give off a foul stench? Whilst the wonderful aroma of musk was emanating from the body of the martyred Mullah Abdul Mannaan, Ustad Yasir said: "I challenge everyone to come! Let us take one dead of ours and one from the opposition side who have been killed at the same time and with the same kind of weapon. We shall leave them in an identical physical and chemical state. Then let us observe our dead beautifying and emitting a fragrance of musk while the body of the opposition becomes bloated, begins to decay and lets off a nauseating stench. Now let the scientists of the world investigate and figure out the reasons for this!!!" "And say not for those who are slain in the Path of Allah that they are dead. On the contrary, they are alive, but you do not understand." (Qur'aan, Baqarah, aayat 154) "Never think of those who have been slain in the Path of Allah as dead. In fact, they are alive by their Rabb (and) are being nourished. They are happy with that (reward) which Allah has bestowed to them of His Bounty, and they are happy regarding those who have not yet joined them, whom they have left behind (on earth)." (Qur'aan, Aal-e-Imraan, 169 – 170) (Those left behind are the other Mujahideen continuing the Jihad and engag- ing in virtuous deeds.) When the Sahaabah questioned Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) regarding these verses, he said: "Allah has transferred the souls of your brothers (who were martyred in the Battle of Uhd) into the bodies of (beautiful) green (heavenly) birds who are free to In addition to the high rate of defections from the U.S.A.'s surrogate Afghan Army, a very serious crisis has developed for the U.S. and its coalition partners in the form of members of the Afghan Army turning their guns on their U.S. and NATO bosses. The aggressors have been bedeviled by a series of incidents in which members of the Afghan security forces have mowed down American and coalition troops and officials. Commenting on this major crisis, and the very recent killing of two senior U.S. army officers by an Afghan police officer, the BBC News states: "The shootings are the latest in a long list of incidents in which members of the Afghan security forces have turned their arms on coalition troops and officials who feel powerless to stop them despite elaborate security mechanisms that are supposed to be in place. Concern about the issue among US and Nato officials has now become so great that trust between them and the Afghan security and military officials is at an all-time low. Occurrences in which Afghans turn their weapons on their western counterparts happen on an almost weekly basis – shortly before the incident at the interior ministry, two U.S. soldiers were shot and killed by an Afghan National Army soldier during protests at a Nato base in eastern Nangahar province. And on Thursday two more US soldiers were shot dead in the south of the country – Nato said one of the men was dressed in Afghan army uniform. In fact, more than 70 Nato troops have been killed by Afghan colleagues in recent years, leading to what some diplomats say is an irretrievable breakdown of trust between the two sides. Although Nato's Afghan commander, Gen. John Allen said he would still be willing to walk, unarmed, into the Kabul interior ministry, few coalition troops on the ground have such confidence in their Afghan colleagues – some of whom continue to receive Taliban propaganda on their mobile telephones. The stark fact is that Nato troops are now nervous and twitchy whenever they are with their Afghan counterparts………Western officials and their Afghan counterparts are in despair over how easily Abdul Saboor was able to bypass security in what was supposed to be a high security building and carry out the killings – apparently in retaliation to the burning of copies of the Koran by US soldiers. ….This allowed the killer to jump three security cordons surrounding the ministry. As this was not worrying enough in itself, the incident (Continued from front page) also graphically exposed serious lapses in the vetting process of Afghan soldiers and policemen. "How on earth then did he succeed in gaining entry to the intelligence wing of the police?" asked an investigating officer. Although Abdul Saboor worked only as a bodyguard and driver, he was still allowed entry into the most sensitive installations at the interior ministry, where night raids, counter-terrorism and counter-narcotics operations are planned and controlled. …. "It is a pattern that is being depressingly repeated across the country", said a Western diplomat." (End of BBC report) One of the factors inducing members of the Afghan security forces to turn their weapons on their American and Nato bosses is the realization of the brutal murder of their countrymen The entire Afghanistan ignited in the wake of the news that U.S. soldiers at the Bagram American airbase had burnt copies of the Qur'aan Majeed. The Afghan public surged into the streets in every province of the country and American and Nato military bases were attacked by crowds of demonstrators. More than 50 people have been killed in the demonstrations which have been continuing for more than a week. Reporting on the demonstrations, AlJazeera says: "Protesters besiege Bagram airbase even as top US commander apologises and orders an investigation into the reprited incident. Hundreds of Afghans staged angry protests at two sites in and around the capital Kabul, incensed by reports that NATO troops had set fire to copies of the Qur'an. Protesters shouting: "Allahu Akbar" besieged the US-run airbase in Bagram on Tuesday, firing slingshots and petrol bombs. Guards at the base, about 60 km north of the capital, Kabul, responded by firing rubber bullets from a watchtower, an AFP photographer said. "They are demonstrating over the burning of copies of the Qur'an inside the base," a local official told AFP news agency. Another protest by about 500 people broke out in the Pul-e-Charkhi district of Kabul not far from major NATO bases on the Jalalabad road. General John Allen, US commander in Afghanistan, offered his apology and ordered an investigation into reports that troops "improperly disposed of a large number of Islamic religious material which includes Qur'ans". "I offer my sincere apologies for any offence this may have caused, to the President of Afghanistan, the government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, and most importantly, to the noble people of Afghanistan", he said. Similar protests have in the past turned violent in Afghanistan, an extremely devout Islamic nation where an insult to the religion carries the death penalty. Reporting on the Qur'aan burnings and the resultant protests, BBC News said: "Rumours that a Koran had been burnt led to a large protest outside the US air base at Bagram about 60 km (40 miles) north of Kabul. Police told BBC that at least 1000 people took part in the demonstration. Afghan officials told the AP news agency that the Korans were in rubbish that two soldiers with the US-led coalition transported in a (Continued from front page) lorry late on Monday night to a pit on the base where waste is burned. When five Afghans working at the pit noticed the religious books in the rubbish, they stopped the disposal process. "Foreign troops tried to burn a container of Holy Koran books at three o'clock in the morning, but the Afghan Mujahideen working at the base did not allow them," protester Mohammed Zahir told the BBC. A BBC reporter at the protests said he saw people crying over claims that foreign troops had set fire to the Koran, while others threw W HEN THE CHRISTIAN ruler, Butluyus was convinced that the attack by Arab army (the Sahaabah) on the City of Buhunsa was imminent, he opened the state coffers and distributed to the generals of the army all the treasures which comprised money, a fine array of garments, weapons, etc. In the state treasury there was a sealed vault which hitherto had never been opened. Butluyus was under the impression that it contained a precious treasure. The monks and the priests tried in vain to prevent him from opening this vault. When the vault was opened, there was no treasure. To his surprise he found nothing but a scroll. When he read the document he was astonished to see the description and names of certain Sahaabah. Highly perplexed and confused Butyulus hastened to the church where he seated himself on his elaborately adorned couch. He gathered around him his generals and sought their opinion. An aged Raahib (Monk) of 120 years, who was highly respected and obeyed stood up. He was dressed in an imposing black robe and donned a high religious cap. In his hand was an ebony staff adorned with gold and ivory. He was truly an imposing figure. Addressing the gathering, he first spoke words which no one understood. Then he said: "O People of the Nasaara (Christian) Faith! O Sons of Baptism! Your reign had endured and your word was heard (and accepted) as long as you commanded righteousness, prohibited evil, were just to the citizenry, extracted retribution from the aggressors on behalf of the oppressed, protected the weak against the strong, aided the poor, did not stretch your hands towards the wealth of others, and you feared adultery. The reign thus remain yours and the hearts of the populace were subservient and obedient to you. When you abandoned commanding righteousness, prohibiting evil, when you oppressed the population, distorted the laws, decreed with falsehood, abstained from aiding the weak against the powerful, you stretched your hands towards the wealth of the people, sin became rampant among you, then the hearts of the people changed. They raised their hands to curse you, and the curse of the oppressed is readily accepted. Excess in oppression is destruction. Now soon you are about to loose this bounty (of kingdom and power), and it will be awarded to others on account of the abundance of your sins, the evil of your transgression and the curses of the oppressed. Precisely because of this state of affairs has the Arabs been imposed over you. They have conquered your cities, killed your men folk and captured your wealth, they have occupied your mansions and have taken possession of your forts. Therefore, wake up from your slumber of indolence! Drive them away from your holy places and your wealth. Do not permit the Ar- abs any quarter near to you. This is my message to all of you." After Butluyus had heard the speech of the monk, he addressed his generals and the gathering of ministers and governors: "Have you heard what your Father said?" They responded: "Yes, we have heard". Butlyus: "What then is your opinion?" The Generals: "We are with you. We are at your command. We shall fight the Arabs. We shall not allow them to subjugate us as they have subjugated others. If they defeat us, we are prepared for a siege. We have sufficient provisions for more than ten years. Our city is well fortified. We shall not surrender to them thereby humiliating ourselves in front of other nations." Butluyus profusely thanked his followers. Then suddenly another wellknown monk jumped up. He had with him an ivory casket which was sealed with steel locks. He opened it and extracted a manuscript, and said: "O People of the Christian Faith and Sons of Baptism! Listen to what the Ulama (i.e. Christian theologians), the astronomers and the wise men have described for you.. They say: "In the last of the ages there will be raised a Nabi whose name will be Muhammad the son of Abdullah from the progeny of Adnaan. His parents will die, and his grandfather and uncle will take care of him. He will be the Nabi sent for entire mankind. His birthplace will be Makkah and his abode of migration will be Tayyibah. He will live there for a few years. After his demise, the affairs of leadership will pass to a man called Abu Bakr who will be the pride of the Arabs. He will despatch armies to the Land of Shaam. However, after a short reign he will die. The leadership will then pass to a man called Umar. He will be the man of conquests and the destroyer of enemies. Many cities of Shaam will fall to him, and he will send armies to all corners of the earth. Furthermore, we find in our ancient holy books that this city will be conquered by a brave brown-skinned man, a great horseman, a lion. His name is Khaalid Bin Waleed. If now you have heard and accepted my speech, then enter into a pact with the Arabs, for verily, the reign will be for them. Their Deen is the Truth. If the nations of the east and west fight them, they (the Arabs) will be victorious over them with the blessings of Allah and the blessings of their Nabi, Muhammad." `When the generals heard this speech they were overwhelmed with extreme rage and intended to kill the monk, but Butluyus forbade them, and he said to the monk: "It seems that you are afraid of the swords of the Arabs. We know that priests and monks have no hearts (i.e. they lack courage) because they eat only lentils, olives, lemons and inferior things. They know nothing about meat. For this reason their hearts are weak. If it was not for your honoured rank, I would have severely dealt with you. If ever you repeat what you have said, I shall kill you brutally. Then the monk fell silent." U.S., NATO AND COALITION WITHDRAW ALL THEIR PERSONNEL Two senior U.S. military officers, a Colonel and a Major, were shot dead by an Afghan Mujahid who had infiltrated the Afghan security forces. The killing occurred in the Interior Ministry's command and control centre despite elaborate security measures in place in the heavily-barricaded, fortified building surrounded by three separate security barriers. The Afghan Mujahid after executing his task safely escaped after leaping over the three security barriers. In the wake of these killings, U.S., Nato and the other members of the coalition of aggressors, went into a state of panic and withdrew all their personnel from Afghan ministries. The U.S.A., U.K., France, Germany and NATO have all withdrawn their personnel from ministries and embassies. Reporting on the hasty pull-out of coalition forces personnel, BBC News reported: "Nato has withdrawn all its personnel from Afghan ministries after two senior US officers were shot dead in the interior ministry building in Kabul. Nato said an "individual" had turned his gun on the officers, believed to be a colonel and a major, and had yet not been identified or caught. The shootings come amid five days of deadly protests over the burning of copies of the Koran by US soldiers. Their interior ministry was put in lockdown after the shootings, officials said. Eight shots were reported inside the building, which should be one of the safest in the capital, and that any Afghan who carried out the attack would have had the highest clearance. Nato commander Gen. John Allen said: "For obvious force protection reasons, I have also taken immediate measures to recall all other ISAF personnel working in ministries in and around Kabul." The UK Foreign Office confirmed it had "withdrawn civilian mentors and advisers from institutions in the city. ISAF spokesman, Brig.Gen. Carsten Jacobson said: "We cannot confirm where the killer came from, what his nationality was, whether he was in uniform or not, all these questions are not known." Early reports suggest that the two officers were shot in the ministry's command and control centre. This is where representatives of 34 provinces meet to plan security. The Interior Minister was having a meeting with senior Western officials elsewhere in the building when the shooting took place. The Taliban said in a website statement that it carried out the attack in response to the Koran burnings." CBS News reports as follows: "Two American military officers were killed inside the heavily-barricaded Interior Ministry in the center of Afghanistan's capital Saturday (25 February 2012). Many Clark, reporting from Kabul, reports the government offices are under lockdown after a U.S. colonel and a major were shot dead in the ministry's command and control center. Clark reports that an Afghan police officer shot both in the head." There is a rising rate of defections from the American-created Kabul army. One of the major factors for the defection and joining the Taliban ranks is the miracles which they have observed. A group of ANA (Afghan National Army) soldiers in Nangarhar province's Ghani Khel district had abandoned their posts and defected to the Taliban. Explaining their reason for defecting, their spokesman said: "Once we fought a hand-to-hand battle with the Taliban in Kandahar province. The Taliban retreated. The dead of both groups were left on the battle- field. We were ordered to remain in the area for the night. Our dead started to decay and to emit a nauseating stench which is indescribable and which was unbearable. On the other hand, the bodies of the Taliban began to emit a strange, wonderful fragrance. At that juncture our buddies left their dead and stood alongside the scented bodies of the martyred Taliban. At daybreak, I and my buddies packed our personal belongings and abandoned everything else although only two or three days were left before we had to collect our pay-cheque. We headed home." In 2005 a US marine killed 24 unarmed Iraqi civilians in Haditha. Whilst in terms of US justice (Jungle Justice – Al-Haq), the marine faced a maximum of three months for having murdered in cold blood 24 Iraqis, even this farcical term was set aside, and he has been freed. Despite having admitted to the charge, the Judge set him free. The charges against his six accomplices were dismissed, and one was acquitted. The judge added that he had decided not to dock the marine's pay because he is divorced with three young children. On the day of the killing, the marine had led his squad to murder the Iraqis among whom were 10 women, children and elderly people and a man in a wheelchair. The squad members testified that they were not fired upon nor did they find any weapons on the scene of the killings. The marine told the court that he had ordered his men to "shoot first, ask questions later". All were killed at point-blank range. All were shot in the head. eived about Boko Haraam of Nigeria is as follows: (a) They are anti-westernization and want the Shariah to be the government. This aim is correct. (b) To achieve their goal, they kill recklessly. They kill even Muslims who disagree with them. If this information is correct, then their methods of achieving their goals are Haraam. It is not permissible to kill recklessly and spread anarchy in the land. Al Haq Bulletin 40 HADHRAT MUGHEERAH AND RUSTUM R USTUM, THE GOVERNOR of Armenia, was despatched by the Emperor of Persia with a huge army to eliminate the small army of the Sahaabah who had entered his (the Emperor's) domain, seemingly with hostile intentions. Although Rustum was a powerful and famed general, he had heard of the prowess and victories of the Sahaabah. He was therefore apprehensive and reluctant to initiate hostilities. He procrastinated along the journey from Madain, reaching Qaadisiyya only after four months. Hadhrat Sa'd Bin Abi Waqqaas (radhiyallahu anhu), the Commander of the Muslim army, wrote to Hadhrat Umar (radhiyallahu anhu) informing him of the state of the Persian army which consisted of 120,000. Hadhrat Umar (radhiyallahu anhu) sent detailed instructions for the battle. With reinforcements arriving from Madinah, the Muslim army numbered 30,000. Hadhrat Sa'd (radhiyallahu anhu) sent a deputation under Hadhrat Mugheerah Bin Shu'bah (radhiyallahu anhu) to invite the Persians to Islam. The following dialogue transpired between Hadhrat Mugheerah and Rustam, the Persian general. Rustum: Why have you come here? Mugheerah: We have come at the command of Allah Ta'ala to snatch from you your land. Rustum: You are our neighbours. We had bestowed many favours on your people. Go back. Trading relations will remain open between us. Mugheerah: Our objective is not the world, but is the Hereafter. Allah sent a Rasool to us. The Rasool was informed by Allah that He would subjugate to the Sahaabah those who do not submit to His Deen. This is the true Deen. Rustum: What is that Deen? Mugheerah: To acknowledge the Kalimah of Tauheed is its foundation. Then to accept all the teachings of this Deen. Rustum: This appears to be a very good Deen. Explain more. Mugheerah: Extricating the servants (of Allah) from worshipping servants. Rustum: This too is excellent. Mugheerah: All mankind is one and brothers. Rustum: If we accept Islam, will you go back? Mugheerah: Yes. We shall then not conspire to fight against you. Rustum consulted with his counsellors who all were greatly annoyed and rejected the idea of accepting Islam. Rustum was constrained to comply with their wishes. At their second meeting, the following dialogue took place: Rustum: The example of you people coming here is like a fly which has seen some honey. It became entrapped in the honey and was unable to extricate itself. You too will become entrapped like this. By the sun! I shall tomorrow slaughter you all. Mugheerah: You will come to know tomorrow who will slaughter who. Rustum: I shall give you some garments, and 1,000 gold coins and garments for your leader. Take it and go back to your land. Mugheerah: I shall go back after I have humiliated you and extract Jizyah (a tax) from you and enslave you. The Persians had initially shown no concern about the Sahaabah. The simplicity and shabby dress of the Sahaabah drew mockery from the Persians. They had grossly underestimated the determination of the Sahaabah. However, after they observed that the army of the Sahaabah had not withdrawn, the Persians again invited them for dialogue. Rustum, the famous Persian general, was in fact awed and very reluctant to go into battle against the Sahaabah. Hadhrat Mugheerah (radhiyallahu anhu) was again sent at the head of a deputation. Rustum: Tell me, just why you people have come here. Mugheerah: We were a degenerate and a fallen people. Allah Ta'ala sent a Nabi who guided us………. We have come with our families as well to settle here. Rustum: Then, we shall slaughter you. Mugheerah: If we are killed, we shall enter Jannat. If you are killed, you will enter Jahannum, and we shall levy Jizyah on the living (of your people). There was a tumultuous uproar in Rustum's camp with cries of: "We shall not make peace!" Mugheerah: Should we initiate the battle or will you? Rustum: We shall initiate it. Hadhrat Mugheerah departed with his deputation. Rustum was in a state of trepidation. He had seen a dream which was very depressing and which did not augur well. He therefore was keen to avoid going to battle, but the chiefs of the army were in no mood for compromise or peace. After a three day battle of intense ferocity, Rustum and many of the senior noblemen and army generals were killed. The Persian army was totally routed. 30,000 Persians were slain and 6,000 Muslims attained martyrdom. The fate of the Persian empire was sealed with the memorable victory at Qaadisiyya. "The US has committed a series of serious missteps which has undermined their efforts to win over the Afghan people. Last year, the leader of a 12 soldier "kill team" was given a life sentence by a US military court. Prosecutors said Staff Segeant Calvin Gibbs hunted innocent Afghans "for sport", and cut off body parts for trophies. He then posed for pictures with the corpses. Then there were the four Marines who videotaped themselves urinating on the bodies of dead Afghans and the US sniper unit which happily posed in front of a Nazi SS banner. And earlier this year, the British Ministry of Defence confirmed it was investigating reports that two ten year old children, a boy and a girl, were abused by UK troops. Military night raids that appall the cultural sensitivities of most Afghans, continue despite the appeals from President Hamid Kerzai to stop as it undermines the redevelopment efforts of NATO soldiers. But even these incidents have not provoked the widespread and deep anger of the discovery of the burning of Qur'an copies at the US-dominated Bagram airbase. People across the country have taken to the streets to protest. More than 40 have been killed, including a number of Americans. The Americans seemed over- whelmed by the reaction, unable to get on top of events, or put together a response which could quell the violence. ….And for many, the burning of the holy book stands out as a moment, which eleven years after the invasion, demonstrates America still doesn't understand the deeply held beliefs and traditions in Afghanistan. America has apologised for the incident and the US commander, General John Allen, has ordered all military personnel in the country undergo 10 days of sensitivity training on the handling of religious materials. The greater concern is the damage the incident has done to an already fragile relationship." --- Alan Fisher The atrocities mentioned by Alan Fisher are what could be said, the tip of the iceberg. An entire population has been brutally dealt with by the American and European savages who have invaded and devastated the Land. The entire invasion of Afghanistan by the western marauders has been one gigantic 'misstep' which the U.S. and its allies are today rueing. The flabby apologies proffered by Obama, General Allen and other officials of the Pentagon in their desperate attempt to appease the people of Afghanistan in the hope of extinguishing the countrywide conflagration, are but the ruckle of vanquished war criminals who will not escape the consequences of their war crimes. "It's true that, in the wake of grinding wars that have also been debacles – the Afghan version of which has entered its 11th year – the US military is in a ratty shape. Its equipment needs refurbishing and its troops are worn down. The stress of endlessly repeated tours of duty in war zones, brain injuries and other wounds caused by the roadside bombs that have often replaced a visible enemy on the 'battlefield', suicide rates that can't be staunched, rising sexual violence within the military, increasing crime rates around military bases, and all the other strains and pains of unending war have taken their toll. If you really want to see a force on its last legs, you need to leave the post-9/11 years behind and go back to the Vietnam era.. In 1971, in Armed Forces Journal, Colonel Robert D.Heini, Jr, author of a definitive history of the Marine Corps, wrote of "widespread conditions among American forces in Vietnam…… The US military in Vietnam and at bases in the US and around the world was essentially at the edge of rebellion. Disaffection with an increasingly unpopular war on the Asian mainland, rejected by ever more Americans and emphatically protested at home, had infected the military, which was after all, made up significantly of draftees. Desertion rates were rising, as was drug use. In the field, "search and evade" (a mocking, descriptive, accurate replacement for "search and destroy") operations were becoming commonplace "Flaggings" – attacks on unpopular officers or NCO's –had doubled. (Word of the deaths of officers will bring cheers at troop movies or in bivouacs of certain units.") And according to Col Heini, there were then as many as 144 antiwar "underground newspapers" published by or aimed at soldiers. At the moment he wrote, in fact, the anti-war movement in the US was being spearheaded by a rising tide of disaffected Vietnam veterans speaking out against their war and the way they had fought it. In this fashion, an American citizen's army, a draft military, had reached its limits and was voting with its feet against an imperial war. And it was deeply disturbing to the US high command, which had by then, lost faith in the future possibilities of a draft army. In fact, faced with ever more illdisciplined troops, the military's top commanders had concluded: never again!.....It was an admission of the obvious: war, American-style as it had been practiced since World War II, had lost its hold on young minds." (Extract from an article by Tom Engelhardt – Source: AlJazeera) The lamentable plight of US forces portrayed in this article exists today in a magnified form in the Afghan scenario. Hundreds of thousands of coalition soldiers are afflicted with a range of mental diseases akin to insanity, and the rate of suicide is ever rising. About 20 US soldiers commit suicide daily. Before the invasion of Iraq, the US Department of Veteran Affairs estimated that there would be a maximum of 8000 cases of mental cases stemming from the Iraq war. But last year there were 320,000 cases of mental derangement – paranoia. Tyler E. Boudreau who resigned from the Marine Corps said: "Certainly the hearts of these soldiers are black with the terrible things they saw and did on the battlefield." Add to this drug addiction. The American military is proliferated with drug addicts. The US army is bereft of any semblance of decency and chivalry. Brutality, torture, rape, pillage and plunder of civilians, women and children are now salient features of American soldiers. Responding to US charges that Pakistan was backing the Taliban, Tariq Azam, a member of the Pakistani Senate's Defence Committee, told Reuters: "They (the Taliban) don't need backing. Everybody knows that after 10 years NATO has not been able to control a single province in Afghanistan because of the wrong policies they have been following." Despite the presence of 150,000 foreign troops and more than 300,000 surrogate Afghan Army troops, the Taliban are riding on the crest of a wave. Violence is at its worst since the beginning of the Jihad against the western invaders, according to the United Nations. The picture of the Jihad in Somalia is blurring. Information is scant. However, the Jihad fighters, As-Shabaab, have withdrawn entirely from the capital, Mogadishu. They still control large tracts of Somalia. Meanwhile the kuffaar have poured thousands more troops into the country to bolster the U.S. installed government. BBC News reports: "There is an end of an era feeling in Kabul these days – for what Afghans see as the latest foreign adventure in their country. They have seen off the Russians and the British before, and now it is America's time that is drawing to a close, with the British and other Nato allies eager to depart with them. The revelation that US troops had dumped copies of the Koran into an incineration pit may hasten that end. At the very least, it has provided an open goal for the Taliban and anyone else who wants to provoke anti-American and anti-foreigner sentiments. (These aggressors fail to understand that the whole of Afghanistan is Taliban – AlHaq). There are few more emotive issues in Afghanistan than allegations of the Islamic holy book being desecrated. It has triggered violent disturbances as far back as 2005 – even when the claims of the Koran being mishandled have not been substantiated. There is quiet fury within the Afghan government towards Americans at what one official calls their "brainless" behaviour. They are making the "same mistakes as the Russians" says Afghan analyst Omar Safi – failing to respect the Muslim religion. Even people welldisposed towards them cannot believe how they could have allowed this to happen, after more than a decade here and many previous mistakes. Never before have the Americans apologised so quickly and so profusely as this time – but it sounds hollow to many Afghans." Yes, it is the end of the era for America and its coalition of aggressors. The occupation is a foul venture based on brutal subjugation of an impoverished nation, but rich in Faith and indomitable in spirit. In Afghanistan it is the end for the predatory geo-strategic aims of the American colonialists. The American chapter of trepidation initiated ten years ago when the Taliban staged a tactical withdrawal from Kabul, has now closed. "In a statement last month, the Taliban said it would step up political efforts after Hillary Clinton, the US secretary of state, said that US talks with the group were still at a preliminary stage. But it said it would not give up its armed struggle. In an exclusive interview with Al Jazeera, Abdullah Weqas, a Taliban commander in Afghanistan's eastern Kunar Province, said that the group's military campaign had forced the Americans to the negotiating table. "The Americans didn't want negotiations with us before. Now they want to talk to us.", Weqas told Al Jazeera. "The foreigners have suffered a lot of casualties here, that's what persuaded them to talk. They have been shamed in front of the whole world. This is one of our successes." US officials are believed to have held a series of secret meetings with the Taliban in Germany and Qatar since 2010… Our correspondent said the talks may become complicated since for many Taliban fighters there are certain issues not up for negotiation, including accepting the country's constitution. "If the current Taliban leadership is seen as giving way on issues like the constitution, the presence of foreign troops here, and the imposition of Sharia law, then there is a risk that a new hardline Taliban leader could emerge, and some of those foot soldiers will fall behind him.", Smith said." (Al Jazeera) * In Laghman province a crowd of more than 3000 protestors marched into Mehtarlam, the provincial capital, chanting "Death to America.". The protests turned violent. * On the Kart-e-Naw and Bagrami districts of Kabul protests continued with hundreds participating with banners reading, "Long Live Islam" – "Long Live the Qur'an". * The Taliban in an e-mail called for the Afghan people to attack U.S. and Nato bases. * Fresh protests took place in the city of Asadabad north of Jalalabad. * Protests erupted in Faryab and Badakhshan provinces. * Seven US military trainers were injured when protesters in Kunduz province threw a grenade at a forward operating base, police chief Samiullah Qatra said. * Nato's International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) confirmed that there has been an explosion outside one of its bases, but declined to comment on casualties. * Thousands took to the streets in the northern provinces of Kunduz and Samangan. * BBC News reports: "Violent antiAmerican demonstrations over burning of a Koran at a US base have spread across Afghanistan. Crowds have been throwing stones and setting alight the US flag. In a statement a Taliban spokesman said Afghans should "not stop at protesting" but instead target military bases and personnel to "teach them a lesson that they will never again dare to insult the Holy Koran." On Wednesday seven people died and dozens left injured in protests over the burning. Afghan security officials fear the protests could spread further, with social pressure in other towns and cities to show their outrage at the desecration of the Koran. Emergency talks are being held in the capital Kabul to plan to protect the city. The BBC's Andrew North, who's in Kabul, says many officials sympathise with the outrage the US has provoked across the country. In Mehterlam, the capital of Laghman province east of Kabul, more than 3000 have gathered, with some burning an effigy of Barack Obama. Police say fights broke out as they stopped hundreds of protestors entering the centre of the capital Kabul. And, in Asadabad, 1500 demonstrators were said to be burning US flags and tyres and shouting anti-American slogans. In a statement after an emergency debate, Afghan MPs condemned what had happened. They also called for punishment of those responsible and asked the Afghan government to send its own delegation to Bagram to establish exactly what happened and why. Last year, at least 24 people died in protests across Afghanistan after a hardline US pastor burned a Koran in Florida. So far police, local officials and tribal elders have told the BBC there have been major protests in at least nine areas across the country. The worst incident was in Khigyani in Nangahar province, where a man wearing an Afghan army uniform killed two Nato soldiers who are believed to be from the US. Two protestors were also killed and seven injured as Nato forces opened fire when armed men attacked the US/Afghan base. Further south, in Uruzgan province, two people were killed and at least eight others wounded, three of them police, in clashes between protesters and Afghan security forces. Local officials told BBC. They say demonstrators were carrying guns, metal bars and sticks. A French military base to the east of Kabul was also attacked." stones and fire bombs at the security forces. Kandahar Governor, Tooryalai Wesa strongly condemned the alleged Koran destruction, which he described as a "shameful move by some stupid individuals". The BBC's Andrew North, in Kabul, says that reports of the Islamic holy book being mistreated, whether substantiated or not, have proved incendiary in Afghanistan in the past…….Last year at least 10 UN workers were killed and dozens of other people injured in protests triggered by news of an American preacher setting the Koran on fire in Florida." by the U.S. and coalition invaders. Another factor is the Taliban's successful infiltration into the Afghan National Army. America with its huge CIA intelligence apparatus has been outwitted by the mountain-dwellers of Afghanistan. They have outwitted the most sophisticated intelligence agency in the world, and they have defeated on the battlefield the most sophisticated armies of America and the Western world despite being vastly outgunned and outnumbered. Whilst this situation poses an inexplicable conundrum for the U.S. and its coalition of aggressors, the Qur'aan assures the faithful Mujahideen: "And, if among you there are twenty Saabiroon, you will conquer two hundred, and if you are a hundred, you will defeat a thousand of the kuffaar. That is because they are a people lacking in intelligence." Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: "Jihad will continue until the Day of Qiyaamah." Undoubtedly, in this age, the banner of Jihad is being held aloft in Afghanistan. Afghanistan has throughout its history from the age of the Sahaabah, been a bastion of Jihad, and today it is about the only Bastion of Jihad. The Qur'aan Majeed states: "There were many small groups who vanquished large armies with the permission of Allah." The eternal truth of this Qur'aanic statement is adequately mirrored in the Jihad of the Afghan. – the Taliban of today. Allah Ta'ala is also demonstrating to the world that the might of the kuffaar nuclear powers with all their sophisticated military hardware of the most destructive kind, coupled with a coalition of 50 countries, has been humbled by His 'Rag-Tag Army' of mountain dwellers who have for more than ten years delivered defeat upon defeat to the brutal aggressors in the mountainous battlefields of Islam's Land of Jihad. After devastating the country from the air with massive, murderous bombardments – after brutalizing civilians in their homes, especially in cowardly night raids, after destroying the farmlands and the crops of the peasants – for more than ten years, the enemy's tail is between its legs and exploring all avenues for an 'honourable' exit from the hell and quagmire into which the U.S., Nato and the coalition forces are incrementally sinking by the day. The battlefields have now shifted to the cities and to the fortified barracks and heavily barricaded 'green' zones of the enemy and its surrogate puppet regime. They have fled from the mountains and the countryside, abandoning all their outlying bases which have been largely overrun, captured and destroyed by the Taliban. The Taliban are now taking the fight to the enemy forces shielded in their heavily-barricaded fortifications in and near cities. We are witnessing another eternal truth stated in the Qur'aan: "They (the kuffaar) with their united coalition cannot fight you (O Muslimeen!) except from within fortified barracks (barricaded green zones and fortifications) or from behind walls. Their mutual infighting is severe. You think that they are a united front whilst their hearts are rent apart. That is because they are a brainless people." The centre of Kabul is a veritable walled barracks, with walls upon walls. Despite all their efforts to secure themselves behind these massive barricades, the U.S. and Nato forces are nervous wrecks. They know that there is no real safety and security for them even behind their walls and in their fortified barracks. Allah Ta'ala has displayed his small army of Mullahs and Molvis to the world. These very Mullahs and Molvis – all having affiliations with the Ulama of Deoband – who have been despised and scorned by even the modernist 'Muslim' masses – who have been made a perennial target for modernist vilification, are today the only ones who are holding aloft the Standard of Jihad and promoting the Islam of Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) and the Sahaabah. Only the Mullahs and the Molvis of Deoband dwelling in the mountains of Afghanistan have taught and is teaching the superpowers a lesson which they will never forget to their dying days. The Mullahs and Molvis of Afghanistan have displayed the indomitable spirit of courage and valour which springs from the heart in which true Imaan (not modernist, corrupt 'iman') is embedded. The Taliban is Allah's Army which marches on its Imaan unlike the kuffaar armies which can march only on their stomachs. These denizens of the mountains who have not seen the inside of a primary secular school, have demonstrated their superiority in handling even sophisticated weaponry which requires considerable secular expertise for proper handling. During the Afghan Jihad against the Soviets, when the U.S.A. had agreed to supply Stinger missiles to the Mujahideen, they sent an officer to ascertain if the Mujahideen had the capability to utilize these sophisticated missiles. Commenting on this episode, Brigadier Mohammed Yusuf of the Pakistani army, says in his book, The Bear Trap: "The US sent over an officer to watch our first course, and from him I learnt that the average hit rate by American troops trained on the Stinger was 60-65 per cent in a non-hostile situation. They regarded this as satisfactory. From statics we compiled later during actual operations the Mujahideen's success rate was 70-75 percent……..By contrast, the Pakistan Army's efforts with this weapon were dismal. A number of Stingers were provided to units in the border areas to respond to the countless 'hot pursuit' incursions into Pakistani airspace. To my knowledge the Pakistani Army fired twenty eight Stingers at enemy aircraft without a single kill." Afghanistan is the only Muslim land where the Mujahideen have achieved tremendous successes against a vastly superior enemy who is now desperate for negotiations in order to find an honourable exit strategy, hence the U.S. is holding talks with the Taliban in Qatar, another U.S. surrogate colony. Victory on the battlefield for the People of Imaan is not reliant on superiority of weaponry, abundance of weapons, western technological expertise, numerical superiority and whatever else the kuffaar regard as requisites for battlefield success. For the Mu'min the one and only requisite for victory is the Nusrat of Allah Azza Wa Jal. Giving the assurance of His Nusrat, Allah Ta'ala says in the Qur'aan Majeed: "And, if you aid (the Deen of) Allah, He will aid you and plant your feet firmly (against the enemy)." The Qur'aan further says: "And, if among you there are ten Saabiroon, they will defeat a hundred (kuffaar)…." The vital condition is Taqwa which is acquired as a consequence of obedience to Allah Ta'ala – to His Shariah and the Sunnah of His Rasool (sallallahu alayhi wasallam). Only then will the Muslim fighter be among the Saabireen mentioned in the Qur'aanic verse. If any modernist sceptic doubts this, let him cast an intelligent gaze at the Taliban Mullahs and Molvis, and he will not fail to discern the truth of Allah's declaration in the Qur'aan. Today on earth only the Taliban Mullahs and Molvis of Deoband are the repositories for the manifestation of Allah's Nusrat. The lamentable plight of the U.S. and its forces in Afghanistan has compelled America to bend over its back with peace overtures. The US has deleted from its terrorist list the name of Mullah Omar because without him there can be no peace talks. At the time of the invasion, the U.S. had described the Taliban as a handful of bandits with whom talks were an impossibility. But today, General John Allen, the US commander in Afghanistan, offering an apology said: "I offer my sincere apologies for any offence this may have caused, to the President of Afghanistan, the government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, and most importantly to the noble people of Afghanistan." These are the 'noble' people who are the Afghan civilians who have recently attacked US and Nato military bases with their hands, sticks and stones These are the people from which are drawn the Taliban fighters. They are no longer 'bandits'. In the American context they have undergone a metamorphosis to become the "noble people of Afghanistan". This is the rhetoric of defeat. It is the incumbent obligation of the entire Ummah to constantly supplicate to Allah Ta'ala to aid the Taliban and to grant them a resounding and decisive victory over the enemy who has brutally destroyed the Land of Afghanistan and murdered tens of thousands of civilians in cowardly, murderous acts from the air. "If Allah aids you, no one can defeat you. And, of He withholds aid from you, then who is their besides Him to aid you?" (Qur'aan) To sully the honourable reputation of the Taliban, the US and NATO usually spread the propaganda of Taliban attacks on 'civilians'. The Taliban enjoy the support of the masses throughout the country. This is one of the important factors for their success. Almost every village is a safe haven and sanctuary for the Taliban. Commenting on the dirty tricks of NATO, The Kabul Press and Canadian Veterans Advocacy states in a report: "A dirty and deadly secret of the war in Afghanistan is that some of the so-called Taliban attacks on civilians have really been attacks aimed at NATO forces who drive unmarked civilian vehicles and wear "nonstandard uniforms", which is Pentagonspeak for civilian clothes. This NATO practice violates the rules of war, which mandate that military forces clearly distinguish their personnel from the civilian population. The consequences of this and other NATO policies are evident every day as NGOs and civilians are increasingly being considered legitimate targets. On January 19, 2012, this issue was once again highlighted after a Taliban suicide car bomber attacked and killed "civilians" at the outskirts to Kandahar Air Field (KAF). Two witnesses told Mirwais Khan of the Associated Press that the Taliban driver was attempting to kill U.S. special forces personnel who had exited the base in two civilian pickup trucks, which the witnesses said was a common practice for troops at the base. NATO has employed several disturbing tactics in Afghanistan. The first tactic is that special operations, civil affairs and military members operating in Provincial Reconstruction Teams have been observed in civilian vehicles dressed as civilians……… Military forces cannot hide among the civilian population because it then invites attacks on that civilian population. Under International law it is called the Principle or Custom of Distinction. Military forces must be clearly distinct from the civilian population. The second NATO tactic being employed in Afghanistan and Pakistan is a steady shift towards targeting Taliban civilians. With limited success against Taliban troops, the focus seems to have shifted to capturing or killing Taliban supporters and sympathizers, even if those persons have never carried a weapon. ………………The above terminology gives NATO and others the authority to kill or detain virtually anyone that disagrees with them, based merely on the belief that they are sympathetic to or indirectly affiliated with persons who are associated with a growing list of NATO enemies. A still additional problem is the apparent inability or unwillingness of NATO officials to distinguish between pro-Taliban sympathizers and Afghans who are simply antiWest………There are no credible checks and balances to ensure that unlawful arrests and killings are not occurring. NATO has only itself to blame for its lack of credibility." The brutal massacre of Sunnis in Syria by Assad, the Shi'ite ruler is ongoing. The Sunni rebels are being supported by the Gulf States under U.S. direction, and also by Turkey. At this stage there is no clarity regarding the objective of the rebels. Are they also fighting for western kufr democracy or for the institution of the Shariah? However, it appears that Syria is heading the same way as Libya and Egypt where Islam is not the driving force. An amusing reality of the Afghan war is that the US authorities have quietly requested the Pakistani authorities for the immediate provision of large supplies of disposable tissue diapers/ napkins for their soldiers. Overwhelming fear for the Taliban in the battlefield has resulted in numerous US soldiers soiling their pants with their 'night soil' with its liquid accompaniment. A diplomatic source said that the highly-secured and well-equipped USNATO troops cannot venture out of the heavily-protected armoured personnel carriers to relieve themselves for the fear of facing the Mujahideen. Therefore, the only option for the US-NATO troops is to have pampers on to allow them to excrete whilst sitting in their armoured vehicles. At least the diapers prevent the stuff running down their legs and creating a variety of embarrassing, humiliating and even ecological problems. The pampers, according to the source, allows them to excrete whilst confronting the Taliban. In fact, the sight of Taliban hastens the act of excretion. To put it simply, the latter choice for the US-NATO troops in case of lack of disposable napkins while fighting Taliban would be quite an embarrassing and humiliating one. Can you imagine what it would be – urinating and excreting during a fight? In fact, it has been revealed that US-NATO forces uncontrollably urinate in their pants during fights with the Mujahideen, or simply for fear of attack by the Taliban. Ansar Abbasi, an eminent writer and editor for one of the newspapers in Pakistan, The News International, has surfaced with interesting facts by issuing a funny column, "Pamper (Diaper) Army (US)". He said that the spokesman of ISAF in Afghanistan whilst not denying US-NATO soldiers wearing napkins while confronting Taliban, said that he was not aware of this. At times when Pakistan-US relations were at a low, the Pakistani authorities have refused to supply the diapers on an urgent basis. This creates a real crisis for the US-NATO troops on the ground. However, it is believed that the Pakistan government has been pressurized to urgently forward several containers of diapers to US forces in Afghanistan on 'humanitarian' grounds. Pakistan has also realized that further delay in despatching the urgentlyneeded napkins to comply with US demands may lead to the emergence of a far more fatally toxic stench in Afghanistan than that of the phosphorus and uranium bombs used by US forces, which turn the fragrance of flowers of spring into the odour of death and mourning. Environmentalists and ecologists have warned of grave repercussions in the wake of the avalanches of lethal excreta released by US and NATO forces. Furthermore, according to the experts, the cumulative effect of the toxic gases released by the small discharges of US and coalition forces pose a serious threat to the stability of the constant ratio of the gaseous sub- stances of the first three layers which surrounds the earth, namely, the atmosphere, troposphere and stratosphere. A US soldier wearing a military nappy is the most-up-to-date addition to the technological weaponry of the US superpower. It is the destiny of a country with the most modern industry and state -of-the-art technology worldwide, strange as it may seem. But the diaper will not help the US and NATO to win the war against the Taliban. It is a proven fact that when the heart lacks faith, courage and spirit desert it. Weapons and logistic support will then not avail. The US soldier with the toddler's diaper soiling himself while looking at Taliban from within his armoured vehicle is the evidence for this. On the contrary, the Taliban are the Men of Jihad. They are endowed with Faith and Spirit. They brim with courage. It is time for America to pack-up and say goodbye to Afghanistan. (Condensed from a report issued by The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan). THE UNACCOUNTABLE BILLIONS THE US Defence Department is unable to properly account for more than 95% of $9.1billion (R67-billion) in Iraqi oil money tapped by the US for rebuilding the war-torn nation. The report by the US Special Investigator for Iraq Reconstruction offers a compelling look at laxness in how such funds are being spent in a country where people complain that basic services such as electricity and clean water are lacking seven years after the US-led invasion that toppled Saddam Hussein. The audit found that shoddy record keeping by the defence department left the Pentagon unable to fully account for funds it withdrew between 2004 and 2007 from a special fund set up by the UN Security Council. - Sapa After all, the objective of the US invasion of Iraq was to lay hands on the oil billions. It is the oil-wealth of the Middle East that is sustaining the bankrupt economy of the U.S.A. The very same objective motivated the NATO attack on Libya. The colonial powers, despite having overtly relinquished political control of their 'former' colonies (the 'third world' countries), are still plundering these countries of their natural resources and wealth. Only the ways and methods of plunder have changed. One such modern method is called 'Reconstruction and Rebuilding' the countries which they have devastated and destroyed with their murderous and merciless aerial bombardments. As the investigation has established, 95% of the wealth goes into the coffers of the colonial pirates. Meanwhile, the peoples of the occupied countries due to their own stupidity, are successfully saddled with perennial sectarian violence – killing each other. So, while the mutual fighting and killing of antagonist sects is in progress, the U.S. 'guarding' the oilfields is able to siphon off the oil to sustain its own economy. All the anarchy in the Western colonies is orchestrated to ensure that the US may comfortably drain the oil and exsiccate the land of all its wealth. Salute the stupidity of the Iraqis, Libyans, Saudis and the Arabs states in general! "Defense Secretary Leon Panetta announced the United States will accelerate the end of combat (i.e. retreat and withdrawal – Al-Haq) in Afghanistan – possibly as early as mid-2013. No one pretends that these troops will be coming home as victors…… Without ongoing and active NATO support, Afghanistan's nominal government will shrink (currently it's jurisdiction extends to a couple of streets in Kabul – Al-Haq) into a few scattered urban mayoralties. If Karzai sticks it out, he may well end up like the last non-Taliban Afghan leader – Mohammad Najibullah, who was hauled out of a UN compound by the Taliban in 1996, castrated, dragged through the streets behind a truck, and hung from a traffic light. …………… "The problem isn't the amount of soldiers or resources we are dedicating to Afghanistan. It is that ordinary Afghan villagers subscribe to local codes of politics and morality that are entirely alien to Western ways. Gender equality, religious pluralism, due pro- cess – all of these things are meaningless gibberish to a society made up largely of illiterate goatherds and farmers………..In their world, the real business of public life begins and ends at the local mosque, shura and village council. At some point, you realize that pushing harder isn't going to get you the free, peaceful society you set out to create. That point has arrived in Afghanistan……..Simply put, we did what we could." (National Post) Alhamdulillah! The time for the ignoble and humiliating retreat from Afghanistan has arrived. They had tried to 'create a society of peace' by plundering the land and brutally killing tens of thousands of civilians with their cowardly brutal aerial bombardment, special operations to eliminate the villages of the Afghan peasants who are all Taliban supporters, rape and torture of thousands of Afghans held in secret detention facilities. BBC News reports: "Four French soldiers have been killed in northern Afghanistan after a serviceman from the Afghan National Army opened fire, officials say. Another 16 French soldiers were injured, some seriously, in the incident in Kapisa province. An official told BBC that an Afghan noncommissioned officer got into a "verbal clash" and opened fire. President Nicolas Sarkozy said France was suspending its training programmes in Afghanistan following the attack. He was sending his Defence Minister to the country immediately. Mr.Sarkozy said that the question of an early French withdrawal from Afghanistan would arise if security conditions were not re-established. He said it was unacceptable for French troops to be fired on by their allies. Three weeks ago two members of the French Foreign Legion were shot dead by an Afghan National Army soldier, also in Kapisa province. The socialist challenger for the (French) presidency, Francois Hollande has reiterated his position that he would withdraw French troops by the end of the year, if elected. A senior commander with the Natoled International Security Assistance Force (Isaf) in Kabul said he was speechless at the prospect of a potential French withdrawal. There seem to be no light in the tunnel of more than half a century of the Palestinian struggle against Jewish aggression and brutality. However, the Palestinian struggle is not a Jihad in the meaning of Islam. It is a struggle devoid of Islamic substance and direction. The objective of the Palestinians' struggle is not the establishment of an Islamic state in which the Shariah will be the governing force. Western 'democracy' is the demand of the Palestinians, hence they are deprived of the kind of divine aid which accompanies the Taliban Jihad. We have nothing to report on the Jihad in Chechnya. There is no reliable information forthcoming. In the final analy- sis it is only Allah's decree which prevails. Not a leaf stirs and drops from a tree, but it is with the direct intervention of Allah Ta'ala. Despite laying claims to be an Islamic State governed by the Shariah, the reality in Saudi Arabia is otherwise. The first and foremost obligation of the Islamic state according to the Qur'aan-eHakeem is Amr Bil Ma'roof Nahy Anil Munkar (Commanding righteousness and prohibiting evil). In this regard the Qur'aan states: "And, if We grant them power (kingdom / sovereignty / political power) on earth, they establish Salaat, enforce Zakaat, Command righteousness and prohibit evil." To give practical expression to this obligatory duty, the first ruler of the country, despite having been installed by Britain and despite having aided the British to destroy the Turkish Khilaafat, did govern the new Saudi Arabia in accordance with the Shariah. Saudi Arabia from the very inception had established a powerful Amr Bil Ma'roof Nahy Anil Munkar agency whose duty was enforcement of the Shariah. The Amr Bil Ma'roof police ensured that: • All shops and business houses closed regularly for Salaat • Segregation of the sexes was strictly enforced. Mingling was not permitted. • Women were not allowed to work in public places • Women were not allowed to drive • Women had to don Hijaab, including Niqaab in public • Women were not allowed to travel without their mahrams. • Cellphones were checked at random to prevent immorality. • Music was not played anywhere. The Shariah was being observed in all spheres of life. These are some examples of the duties of the Amr Bil Ma'roof police. However, the present king has severely curtailed the powers of the Amr Bil Ma'roof police. He has banned them from entering the immoral western university which has recently been built in Jeddah. They are not allowed to enforce any of the aforementioned requisites of the Shariah. Recently the king sacked Sheikh Abdul Aziz al-Humain, the Head of the Amr Bil Ma'roof police and installed in his place a modernist sheikh who belongs to the ulama-e-soo' fraternity. Although the former Head did not adhere to the letter of the Shariah in enforcing the Shariah, he was considered too 'conservative' for American tastes. He was an obstacle in the king's newly established policy of westernization with its emphasis on female liberalism which will cultivate in western immoral libertinism. All the teeth of the Amr Bil Ma'roof police have been extracted. This obligatory department of the Shariah has been effectively abolished by king Abdullah in compliance with the directive of Washington. Immorality and crime are now on the rise in Saudi Arabia, and the Shariah is increasingly being overshadowed to make way for the western kufr concepts of the 'emancipation' of women and equality gender. In having effectively cut asunder its Islamic moorings, Saudi Arabia is firm- ly on the road of secularism, paving the way for American 'democracy. The West had created Saudi Arabia in the same way that Israel was created. The West will also dismantle Saudi Arabia. There is already a plot in the pipeline for dismembering Saudi Arabia. Makkah, Madinah, Taif and ziyaarah pockets here and there will be a small 'state' left to the king or whoever will be the government. The West will not interfere with the Holy Cities. But western democracy with all its evils will be imposed on the rest of the country which will become 'independent' country or countries similar to the creation of Jordan, Lebanon and the backyard Gulf 'states' – all products of American surrogacy. A viable theory for the enactment of this scenario is the current sabre rattling relative to Iran. Where Iran fits into this conspiracy remains to be seen. Allah knows best. "They plot and Allah also plots. And Allah is the Best of plotters."- (Qur'aan) (Extracts from an article by Naomi Wolf, a Yahudi political activist in New York) "Obama should apologise for kidnapping Afghans and for holding them at Bagram without due process of law. ………..This absence of perspective reveals the cultural ignorance that has turned recent US foreign interventions into political catastrophes. I, too, come from an Abrahamic religion, Judaism, which shares strong roots with Islam. In both faiths, sacred texts are treated as if they are, in a sense, living beings. Jews, too, give them "burials" when they are too old to use and treat them ritualistically while they are "alive", using silver pointers to avoid profaning them with human hands, dressing them in velvet jackets and kissing them when they fall to the ground………… Qur'ans were burned at a US facility that meets the dictionary definition of a concentration camp. Bagram versus Guantanamo Bay In 2009, Spiegel Online ran a portrait gallery about Bagram titled "America's Torture Chamber". In "The Forgotten Guantanamo", it reported that 600 people were being held at Bagram without charge. All were termed "unlawful enemy combatants", allowing the US to claim that they have no right to the protections of the Geneva Conventions. A military prosecutor said that, compared to Bagram, Guantanamo Bay was "a nice hotel". Indeed, Khalid Sheikh Mohammad, invariably described in the US as "the self-proclaimed chief architect of 9/11 ", told the Red Cross that at Bagram he had been suspended by shackles and sexually assaulted: "I was made to lie on the floor. A tube was inserted into my anus and water poured inside". Another prisoner, Raymond Azar, testified that 10 FBI agents had abducted him, shown him photos of his family and told him that if he didn't "co- operate", he would never see them again. The BBC collated testimony in 2010 from nine prisoners, confirming that human-rights abuses continued at Bagram. The prisoners independently described "a secret prison" inside the prison, called "the black hole". Prisoners were still being subjected at the time to freezing temperatures, sleep deprivation and "other abuses". One testified that a US soldier had used a rifle to knock out a row of his teeth and that he was forced to dance to music whenever he needed to use the bathroom. Another investigation confirmed similar allegations in 2010 and last month, the BBC reported that Bagram's prison population had reached 3,000, while an Afghan-led investigation found still more allegations of ongoing torture, including freezing temperatures and sexual humiliations. Of course, since the US military can detain anyone in Afghanistan and hold him or her without charge in these conditions forever, the entire country lives under the shadow of torture at Bagram. The Quran burnings are a potent symbol of that systemic threat. So, while Obama should continue to apologise for the Quran burnings, we must understand that Afghans' rage is a response to an even deeper, rawer wound. Obama should also apologise for kidnapping Afghans; for holding them at Bagram without due process of law; for forcing them into cages, each reportedly holding up to 30 prisoners; for denying them Red Cross/Red Crescent visits; for illegally confiscating family letters; for torturing and sexually abusing them; and for casting a pall of fear over the country. The Quran forbids that kind of injustice and cruelty. So does the Bible. (Source: Al Jazeera) * Ansaarush Shariah (Helpers of the Shariah), the Jihad Group in Yemen executed a devastating attack on an army camp near to the city of Zinjibar, killing dozens of soldiers. Cars close to the military camp were detonated. Then the Mujahideen mounted mortar attacks which have been described as a major escalation in the conflict by one Yemeni official. Zinjibar and the city of Jaar are two cities in control of the Mujahideen. In addition they control large areas in the provinces of Shabwa and Abyan. Many Pakistanis, Afghanis, and Somalis have joined the ranks of the Yemeni Mujahideen. * The United States is collaborating with the secular government of Yemen and providing military and other aid in the attempt to eliminate the Mujahideen. Saudi Arabia and other Gulf States are also aiding and bolstering the Yemeni secular government. * In another incident six soldiers were killed when martyrdom bombers detonated two vehicles at two military outposts also outside Zinjibar. The one vehicle targeted a post held by coastal guards while the second vehicle rammed into an artillery position. * Two martyrdom bombers drove their vehicle into a Yemeni army base in the southern province of Bayda. The number of casualties is unknown. A three-storey Republican Guard building was completely destroyed in the huge blast. The explosion was followed by an exchange of fire between the Mujahideen and the soldiers The attack was soon after the new president was appointed. In a message issued by the Mujahideen after this attack, they said: "This is a message that the US programme in Yemen will not succeed.. Our operations will target US projects and its tools wherever they may be.." * An attack by the Mujahideen on a presidential palace in Hadhramaut province killed 26 Republican Guard soldiers. The above are very recent attacks executed within a couple of days. The Yemeni army has abandoned large areas which are currently under Mujahideen control. March 5, 2012: BBC News reports: "On Thursday government troops backed by tanks entered Baba Amr after the rebel Free Syrian Army (FSA) announced a "tactical withdrawal". Opposition and human rights activists have said security forces and pro-government militia have been rounding up men and boys over the age of 14 who are still in Baba Amr, and then torturing and killing them. …..People fleeing Homs also told our correspondent that security forces had been committing atrocities, including summary executions and cutting the throats of prisoners. One woman, who had walked for three days to escape, said that on Friday troops had taken 36 men and boys from one area and killed them. "My son's throat was cut." She said. "he was 12". Another woman said: "They took our husbands. They took them at a checkpoint. They will slaughter them like sheep." Several men who had defected from an elite army unit said: "A lieutenant gave us the order: "You shoot anything that moves. Civilian or military." People of Baba Amr defied the govern- ment and now they are scattered, their uprising crushed." Peter Goodspeed National Post As pressures grow for peace talks with Afghanistan's Taliban, leaked U.S. and NATO reports suggest officials fear they are locked in a stalemate that could become outright defeat the moment foreign troops leave. A secret NATO report, based on interrogation of 4,000 Taliban and al-Qaeda prisoners, says Afghan insurgents boast of being heavily backed and supported by Pakistan, and are confident they can recapture Afghanistan once NATO pulls out in 2014. In contrast to previous NATO military assessments suggesting the Taliban have been damaged and demoralized by a counter-insurgency campaign, it concludes their strength and morale remain largely intact. According to excerpts published by the British Broadcasting Corp. and The Times of London newspaper, "Taliban commanders, along with rank and file members, increasingly believe their control of Afghanistan is inevitable." "Though the Taliban suffered severely in 2011, its strength, motivation, funding and tactical proficiency remain intact," the study says. "In the last year, there has been unprecedented interest, even from [Afghan government] members, in joining the insurgent cause. Afghan civilians frequently prefer Taliban governance over [the Afghan government], usually as a result of government." The NATO study claims Pakistan knows the location of senior Taliban leaders and says "senior Taliban representatives, such as Nasiruddin Haqqani [deputy head of the Haqqani Network], maintain residences in the immediate vicinity of [Pakistan's intelligence agency] ISI headquarters in Islamabad." On Tuesday, James Clapper, the U.S. director of national intelligence, released his department's annual worldwide threat assessment, which echoed similar themes. Washington's threat assessment warns the Taliban "remains resilient and capable of challenging U.S. and international goals and Taliban leaders continue to enjoy safe haven in Pakistan, which enables them to provide strategic direction to the insurgency and not fear for their safety." This month the Los Angeles Times newspaper reported a new 100-page national intelligence estimate on Afghanistan, by experts from the Central Intelligence and 15 other intelligence agencies, painted an even bleaker picture. It said the war in Afghanistan was "mired in stalemate" and "security gains from an increase in American troops have been undercut by pervasive corruption, incompetent governance and Taliban fighters operating from neighbouring Pakistan." Ironically, General David Petraeus, the CIA's new director, was the military commander in charge of implementing the counter-insurgency strategy which his officials are now suggesting may be on the brink of failure. THE WAR HAS NOT ENDED! In a stupid, hollow, insipid ceremony conducted in Baghdad, the US announced the 'end' of its brutal escapade in Iraq. Describing the hollow ceremony based on falsities, Associated Press reported: "There was no 'Mission Accomplished' banner. No victory parade down the center of the capital scarred by nearly nine years of war. No crowds of cheering Iraqis grateful for liberating them from Saddam Hussein. It took the US military just 45 minutes to declare an end to its war in Iraq with a business-like closing ceremony behind concrete blast walls in a fortified compound at Baghdad International Airport. On the chairs – nearly empty of Iraqis – were tags that listed not only the name of the assigned VIP, but the bunker to rush to in case of an attack. With that, and brief words from top US officials who flew in under tight security, the US drew the curtain on a war that killed 4487 Americans, by the Pentagon's count, and more than 100,000 Iraqis. The conflict also left an additional 32,000 Americans and far more Iraqis wounded, drained more than $800 billion from the U.S. treasury and diverted resources from Afghanistan, where the Taliban and alQaeda rebounded…. "To be sure the cost was high – in blood and treasure of the United States and also the Iraqi people", Defense Secretary Leon Panetta told the roughly 200 troops and others in attendance. "With this withdrawal, the Americans are leaving behind a destroyed country", said Mariam Khazim, a member of the Shi'ite sect. "The Americans did not leave modern schools or big factories behind then. Instead, they left thousands of widows and orphans. The Americans did not leave a free people and country behind them. In fact, they left a ruined country and a divided nation."., Khazim said. ……. Now, the final few thousand U.S. troops will head out in orderly caravans and tightly scheduled flights, leaving behind a nation free of Saddam's tyranny but fractured by violence and fearful of the future. Bombings and gun battles still occur almost daily. Experts are concerned about the Iraqi security forces' ability to defend the nation against foreign threats." (Philadelphia Daily News) Balakot is in Pakistan. On 1 May 1831 an epic battle was fought on the mountains of Balakot between a force of Mujahideen under the command of the illustrious Wali, Hadhrat Sayyid Ahmad Shahid, and the Hindu king, Ranjit Singh. The Muslim force arrived during the night and engaged in setting up camp. A local villager betrayed the Mujahideen and informed the forces of Ranjit Singh. During that very night Ranjit Singh's forces launched their attack from the rear of the mountain. An intense battle followed. On the fifth day of the battle whilst Hadhrat Sayyid Ahmad Shah was in Sajdah in Tahajjud Salaat, he was beheaded. Shah Ismail Shahid took up the command and the battle continued to rage for the next four days. When a Sikh soldier verbally abused Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam), Hadhrat Shah Ismail Shahid, swore an oath: "I shall not die until I have not beheaded you." On the fourth day whilst valiantly fighting, the enemy (the Sikh) succeeded in beheading Shah Ismail Shahid. But, miraculously the decapitated body of Shah Ismail continued fighting. Smitten with fear, the Sikh turned and fled. The headless body of Shah Ismail pursued the Sikh for about 200 metres. He flung his sword which severed the head of the Sikh. As the Sikh fell dead to the ground, the body of Hadhrat Ismail Shahid also collapsed. Allah Ta'ala had fulfilled the oath which Hadhrat Ismail Shaid had taken. 450 Mujahideen were also martyred in this battle and about 100 survived. It is said that even today sometimes the blood of the Shuhada could be seen flowing down the mountain. Al Jazeera reports: "A veteran US senator has urged Washington to launch airstrikes against Syria's military in response to its use of heavy artillery to bombard and devastate residential areas in protest hubs across the country. Speaking in the Senate, John McCain said US President Barack Obama had been too soft on Damascus and cited moral and strategic obligations to help force the government of Bashar al-Assad, the Syrian president, out of power. He said: that helping arm the Free Syrian Army and other opposition groups would not be enough to "stop the slaughter of innocent civilians". McCain said the US should use its "full weight of air power" to crush Syria's year-long crackdown on dissent that has claimed thousands if civilian lives. A dozen families spent Sunday night in a three-storey apartment block in Arsal after fleeing what they said was a sustained army attack on the Syrian town of Qusair with tanks, rocketpropelled grenades and helicopters. Hassana Abu Foras, another refugee from Qusair, said: "What are we supposed to do? People are sitting in their homes and they are hitting us with tanks. Those who can flee, do. Those who can't, will die sitting down." "We call on the Lebanese government and the Lebanese army to help us, to hide us, to hide our families. We don't want anything. We appeal to them, we call on them to help us. We call on the Muslim and Arab governments to help us.", Firas said. Lebanese security officials say more than 10,000 Syrians have fled to Lebanon seeking refuge. There are another 10,000 refugees in neighbouring Turkey." After Shah Ahmad Madrasi was handcuffed and presented to an English officer, the officer broke down crying and said: "Shah Sahib! You are my Ustaad who had taught me an Arabic book in Madras. We are authorised to release you only if you say just once that you took no part in the 1857 freedom uprising. I will immediately release you if you make this statement.." Shah Ahmad Madrasi responded: "O my English student! To save my life, I shall not go against Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam)." March 5, 2012: Whilst America has withdrawn from Iraq after declaring the 'end' of the war, the war is still raging in that unfortunate land. Dozens of gunmen whose identities are unknown, made pre-dawn attacks on police stations, killing 27 policemen. Some of the gunmen were wearing military uniforms. They moved through the city shooting at police manning check-points. These attacks took place in the City of Haditha. The attackers even had false arrest warrants for 15 police officials. They moved in a convoy of thirteen interior ministry vehicles, wearing uniforms of the ministry's special forces. March 4, 2012: In heavy fighting on the outskirts of the city of Zinjibar, the Mujahideen attacked Yemeni military posts, killing 107 soldiers. 32 Mujahideen were also martyred in the attacks. The Mujahideen used booby-trapped vehicles in the attack on the army base. They managed to capture armoured vehicles, ammunition, and took with them 55 prisoners. Earlier military claims of having captured the city were proven to be false as the Mujahideen are in full control of Zinjibar and a few surrounding towns. The captured soldiers were paraded in the surrounding towns. Dr.Aafiyah Siddiqui, a Pakistani scientist, disappeared with her three children aged 7, 9 and 1 year, in 2003. On 28 March, 2003, Aafiyah left home in a Metro-cab, in Karachi to catch a flight to Rawalpindi. But she never reached the airport. Seven years later, in February 2010, her eldest son, then 14 years old, was returned and described the abduction. When Aafiyah and her three children came out of their home, about 20 men including a white woman, presumably an Americam, and members of the ISI (Pakistan's intelligence agency), were waiting in several vehicles on the next street. Aafiyah and her children were promptly kidnapped. Aafiyah was loaded in one car, and the shocked and crying children in another vehicle. A hood was immediately pulled over Aafiya's head and she was drugged. When she awoke she found herself tied to a wheeled stretcher. She did not know where she was, but the dryness of the air convinced her that she was not in Karachi. Her youngest child who would be 7 years old now, is still missing. It is believed that the one year old baby was killed during the kidnapping. She was later shown a picture of her baby in a pool of blood. According to the Pakistani media, the day after her kidnapping, a woman had been taken into custody on charges of terrorism. The Pakistan Interior Ministry confirmed the 'arrest'. She was taken to an unknown place for questioning. A year later the Pakistani press, quoting a government spokesman said that Aafiyah was handed over to the US in 2003. Later the Pakistani government and US officials in Washington denied any knowledge of Aafiyah's custody. However, Aafiyah was kidnapped by the Pakistani intelligence services with her three children and transferred into US custody. She was detained in several prisons for five years and was repeatedly tortured and raped. The International Committee for the Red Cross had also confirmed the presence of a Pakistani female detainee at Bagram, the American torture facility in Afghanistan. Little is known about what happened to Aafia and her children in the five years in which they were missing. However, in October 2009, when Aafia was visited by a Pakistani parliamentary delegation she spoke a little about the five years in which she had been disappeared, saying "I have been through living hell". She described being given an injection and when she came to, she was in a cell. She said she was being brainwashed by men who spoke perfect English, who may have been Afghans. She did not think they were Pakistanis. She described being forced to make false confessions and sign statements. She alleged that she had been tortured although she provided no details. She was also told by her captors that if she did not co-operate, her children would suffer. During her trial, Aafia alluded to being tortured in secret prisons, to being raped, her children being tortured, and being threatened to be "sent back to the bad guys" – men she described as sounding like Americans but could not be "real Americans" but "pretend Americans" due to the treatment they had subjected her to. After her trial it emerged that the government of Pakistan had put a gag order on Aafia's family in exchange for releasing her eldest son Ahmed. Aafia's lawyers, Elaine Sharpe and Elizabeth Fink, would later corroborate this by stating publicly that she had "been through years of detention, whose interrogators were American, who endured treatment fairly characterised as horrendous" and that she had been "tortured". On 7 July 2008, a press conference led by British journalist Yvonne Ridley, in Pakistan resulted in mass international coverage of Aafia's case as her disappearance was questioned by the media and political figures in Pakistan. Within weeks, the US administration reported that she was arrested by Afghani forces along with her 13 year old son, outside the governor of Ghazni's compound, allegedly with manuals on explosives and 'dangerous substances in sealed jars' on her person. Her lawyers claim that the evidence was planted on her. Aafia would later testify during her trial that the bag in which the evidence was found was not her own and was given to her, being unaware of its contents. She also claimed that the handwritten notes were forcibly copied from a magazine under threat of torture of her children. She recalled the presence of a boy at the Ghazni police station whom she believed could have been her son, but could not know with certainty since they had been separate for several years. On 3 August 2008 an agent from the FBI visited the home of her brother in Houston, Texas and confirmed that she was being detained in Afghanistan. On Monday 4 August 2008, federal prosecutors in the US confirmed that Aafia Siddiqui had been extradited to the US from Afghanistan where they alleged she had been detained since mid-July 2008. They further allege that whilst in custody she fired at US officers (none being injured) and was herself shot twice in the process. Aafia confirmed during her trial that she was hiding behind a curtain in the prison, as the US claim, with the intent of escaping as she feared being returned to a secret prison, but categorically denied picking up the gun or attempting to shoot anyone. Aafia was charged in the US with assaulting and attempted murder of US personnel in Afghanistan. In late August 2008, Michael G Garcia, the US attorney general of the southern region confirmed in a letter to Dr Fowzia Siddiqui that Aafia's son, Ahmed had been in the custody of the FBI since 2003 and he was currently in the custody of the Karzai government. Earlier the US ambassador to Pakistan, Anne W Patterson had earlier claimed that Washington has no information regarding the children. According to an Afghan Interior Ministry official quoted in the Washington Post, Ahmed Siddiqui was briefly held by the Interior Ministry after his arrest in July 2008 and was thereafter transferred to an Afghan intelligence agency, the National Directorate of Security (NDS), notorious for its brutal treatment of detainees, despite the fact he was too young to be treated as a criminal suspect under both Afghan and international law. Under Afghanistan's Juvenile Code, the minimum age of criminal responsibility is 13 and according to the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child a minimum age of criminal responsibility below the age of 12 is "not internationally acceptable." Ahmed was finally released to the custody of Aafia's family in Pakistan in September 2009. He later gave a statement to police in Lahore, Pakistan, that he had been held in a juvenile prison in Afghanistan for years. On being reunited with his father for the first time, he ran away screaming in horror, claiming that his father was amongst those who used to beat him in Afghanistan. The trial of Aafia Siddiqui began Tuesday 19 January 2010, in a Manhattan federal courtroom. Prior to the jury entering the courtroom, Aafia turned to onlookers saying; "This isn't a fair court, (...) Why do I have to be here? (...) There are many different versions of how this happened," referring to the alleged shooting. Three government witnesses testified on the opening day of the trial; Army Capt. Robert Snyder, John Threadcraft, a former army officer and John Jefferson, an FBI agent. Both were stationed in Afghanistan at the time of the alleged assault and murder attempt. During the trial, while Snyder testified that Aafia had been arrested with a handwritten note outlining plans to attack the Empire State Building, the Brooklyn Bridge and Wall Street, Aafia disrupted the proceedings with a loud outburst aimed at Snyder, after, which she proclaimed her innocence stating; "Since I'll never get a chance to speak, if you were in a secret prison.. where children were tortured... This is no list of targets against New York. I was never planning to bomb it. You're lying." In the morning before the closing remarks, the last government witness, FBI Special Agent, Angela Sercer testified. Sercer monitored Aafia for 12 hours a day over a two week period while she was at a hospital in Bagram. She tried to rebut Aafia Siddiqui's testimony, by saying that Aafia told her she was in "hiding" for the last five years and further that she "married" someone to change her name. However under cross examination, Sercer admitted that while at the hospital Aafia expressed fear of "being tortured". Sercer also admitted that Aafia expressed concern about the "welfare of the boy" and asked about him "every day". Moreover, that Aafia only agreed to talk to her upon promises that the boy would be safe. According to the testimony Aafia said that the Afghans had "beaten her"; that her "husband had beaten her and her children"; and that she was "afraid of coming into physical harm". When Sercer was further questioned about what Aafia said about her children during that two week period, she admitted that Aafia expressed concern about the "safety and welfare of her children", but felt that the "kids had been killed or tortured in a secret prison". "She said that they were dead, didn't she" asked Defence attorney, Elaine Sharpe; reluctantly Sercer answered, "Yes." The trial took an unusual turn with an FBI official asserting that the finger prints taken from the rifle, which was purportedly used by Aafia to shoot at the U.S. interrogators, did not match hers. Another event complicated the case further, when the testimony of witness Masood Haider Gul appeared different from the one given by U.S. Captain Schnieder earlier. The defence denied all charges, stating that "the soldiers had given different versions of where she was when the M-4 was allegedly fired and how many shots were fired." ∗ The trial lasted for 2 weeks and the jury deliberated for 2 days before reaching a verdict. On February 3, 2010, she was convicted and found guilty on all counts., despite the following discrepancies: ∗ The court proceedings were flawed, and limited to the incident in Ghazni, which itself lacked concrete evidence. ∗ It is still unexplained how a frail, 110 pound woman, confronted with three US army officers, two interpreters and two FBI agents managed to assault three of them, snatch a rifle from one of them, open fire at close range, hit no one, but she herself was wounded. ∗ There were no fingerprints on the gun. ∗ There was no gunshot residue from the gun. ∗ There were no bullet holes in the walls from that particular gun. ∗ There were no bullets cases or shells in the area from the specified gun. ∗ The testimony of the government's six eyewitnesses contradicted each other. ∗ The statements Aafia made to FBI agent Angela Sercer were made whilst she was under 24 hour surveillance by FBI agents in the hospital at Bagram, with her arms and legs tied to a bed for weeks, several types of medication, sleep-deprived and at the mercy of the agent for food, water and in order to relieve herself. Sercer did not identify herself to Aafia as a FBI agent. The use of these statements in court were objected to by the defence on the basis of 'Miranda laws' which mandate that a detainee must be informed of their rights, have access to an attorney, or in the case of international law, consular staff and law enforcement officials must identify themselves. Despite this the judge denied the motion and allowed this to form part of the questioning. ∗ Aafia's disappearance, torture and missing children were not at all addressed during the court case. Following her conviction, Aafia remained at the Metropolitan Detention Centre in New York where she has spent the best part of her detention in the US. Throughout that time, she has been subject to humiliating and degrading strip and cavity searches, prompting her to refuse legal visits on many occasions. Since the beginning of March Aafia has been refused all contact with her family and has not been permitted any letters, phonecalls, visits or reading material under the pretext of "the security of the nation." In April 2010, a 12 year old girl was left outside the residence of Fowzia Siddiqui in Karachi by unidentified men claiming she was the missing daughter of Aafia Siddiqui. Although initially it was thought that she was not Aafia's daughter, following DNA tests conducted by the Pakistani government, the Interior Minister Rehman Malik confirmed that the tests proved that the child was indeed Aafia's daughter, Maryam, and that her DNA matched that of Ahmed Siddiqui (Aafia's eldest son) and their father, Amjad Khan. Dr Fowzia intended to carry out their own independent investigation to confirm the girl's identity. In a press conference Senate Committee for Interior Chairman, Senator Talha Mehmood reported that Maryam Siddiqui was recovered from Bagram airbase in the custody of an American - in the Urdulanguage press, an American soldier - called "John". He also said that she had been kept for seven years in a 'cold, dark room' in Bagram airbase. After several postponements, Aafia was finally sentenced to 86 years in prison, on 5 counts, on September 23rd 2010, making her eligible for release in 2094. She would be 122 years old at the time of her release, if she remains alive at that time. The whereabouts and welfare of Aafia's youngest son, Suleman remains a mystery. crisis, the head of the Arab League said that Kofi Annan, the joint UN-Arab League special envoy to Syria, would travel to Damascus on March 10 for his first visit since being appointed to the post last month." (Al Jazeera) The Arab League is a hopeless paper dog incapable of even barking. From its very inception, it was born a miserably deformed paper mongrel. Syrians are desperately calling on "Muslim" and Arab governments to come to their aid. Alas! There are no Muslim governments in this age. All governments in Lands populated by Muslims, whether Arab or non-Arab, are kuffaar governments. Islam is the furthest from the minds and hearts of the kuffaar government scoundrels masquerading as Muslims. Just imagine, this so-called Arab League consisting of more than a dozen Arab governments totally impotent to put a stop to the massacres and atrocities of the Shi'ite government of Syria. Of what use are all their militaries, airforces and navies? The militaries and airforces of the so-called 'Muslim' countries have only one function, and that is, to brutalize their own civilian populations. The entire conglomeration of ghutha militaries is absolutely impotent in front of the feminine army of Israel. Saudi Arabia has just purchased $30 billion of arms from America, including the most sophisticated war planes which in all probability the Saudis are unable to pilot nor will they master the use of their multi-billion dollar armoury nor will these weapons ever be used against Israel. The Qur'aan, commanding Muslim governments, says: "If two groups of Mu'mineen fight, then make peace between them. And, if the one group commits aggression on the other, then fight the oppressor group until it returns to the Law of Allah. Then if it returns (to the Law), then make peace between them with justice and be fair. Verily Allah loves those who are just. Verily, the Mu'minoon are brothers. Therefore establish peace among your brothers, and fear Allah so that mercy descends on you. (from Allah)." – (Al-Hujuraat, aayats 9 and 10) The obligation of airstrikes in this type of scenario devolves on the Muslim states. It is haraam for Muslim governments to allow the kuffaar such as the U.S., etc. to bomb and kill Muslims, and to devastate their lands as they had done in Libya. But since all of these miserable governments are kuffaar, they look askance at kuffaar institutions such as the American dominated United Nations, not at the directives of the Qur'aan. Yet, Muslim countries have all the resources – financial and military – to resolve any crisis or conflagration developing in any of the lands of the Ummah. Undoubtedly, the greatest victory which the West has achieved in all the Muslim countries is the colonization of the brains of the Ummah. The greater part of the Ummah has been converted to Kufr. The current quagmire into which the Ummah is sinking deeper by the day is adequately depicted in the following Hadith narrated by Hadhrat Abdullah Ibn Umar (radhiyallahu anhu): "There will dawn an age when Muslims will assemble in their Musaajid and perform Salaat whilst not a single one among them will be Mu'min." The enemy has admitted that the Taliban has outwitted them in the sophistication of their latest type of IED bombs which are responsible for most of the casualties of the enemy forces. When an army minesweeper failed to detect the planted IED, a soldier died in the explosion. The coroner said that the Taliban fighters had progressed from "rudimentary to sophisticated warfare". He further said that the Army's measures were not fool proof. To counter the Taliban's sophisticated IEDs, the U.K. Defence Ministry said that 200 million would be spent on counter-IED technology to overcome the Taliban's 'technology'. Commenting on this issue, BBC News said: "The inquest was told he was in a so-called "safe area" which was supposed to have been checked for bombs when a second one went off, killing him instantly. When a specialist team called Brimstone later arrived, with sniffer dogs and ground-penetrating radar, even they struggled to find two other explosives which were also in the swept area. Mr. Oakley was told the "sophisticated" bombs represented a more recent type of threat as they were of such low metal content they were hard for the conventional Vallon minesweeper to detect. Its clear that in the theatre of war both sides had become clever and cleverer and certainly the other side had got more clever with their explosive devices. What were fairly rudimentary devices maybe months ago or a few years ago are much more sophisticated now. After the inquest, a Ministry of Defence spokesman said: "Countering the IED threat in Afghanistan is a top priority and we constantly evaluate the threat……" A frail Pakistani female weighing a mere 50 kg., Dr. Aafiyah Siddiqui, was kidnapped 8 years ago with her three little children by evil, kaafir Pakistani intelligence personnel and American agents. In the years of detention in different torture centres operated by the U.S., she was repeatedly tortured, raped and brutalized. Her baby of one year was murdered. Her eldest son was dumped outside the family home years later. Thereafter the girl child who is now 12 years old, was returned. There is no trace of the baby. Aafiyah was sentenced to 86 years by a US kangaroo court which had re- fused to consider any evidence which supported Aafiyah's version of her kidnapping, detention and torture. The charges against her were grabbing a rifle from a member of the special forces of the US and attempting to shoot him. The scene where these alleged 'crimes' occurred was in Afghanistan at the US torture facility at Bagram Airbase. Aafiyah is alleged to have committed these 'crimes' in the presence of three army officers, two interpreters and two FBI agents. It was further alleged that in the presence of this gang of torturers, Aafiyah had managed to assault three of them, snatch a rifle from one of these thugs and open fire at close range, but 'miraculously' no one was hit. Although she herself was wounded. Today she languishes in some US torture camp in America, forgotten by the compatriots of her country and by the Muslim world, if there still exists such an entity or even a semblance of it. There were massive orchestrated uprisings in most 'Muslim' countries when some baboon in Denmark had made some ludicrous cartoons. But when a sister with her three children are hijacked by brutal kuffaar (Pakistani and American agents), tortured, raped and brutalized for years, and then sentenced to 86 years for no proven crime, the entire 'Muslim' world selects to remain within an impregnable fortress of silence. Not a single government in any of the Muslim lands has opened its mouth to protest and demand Aafiyah's release. Initially in Pakistan there was some protest. But that was mere effervescence. Aafiyah has been forgotten as if there never existed such a person. Compare Aafiyah's sentence with the American barbarian who headed a squad of US soldiers to murder 24 unarmed Iraqis which included 10 women and children and a man in a wheelchair. Despite having acknowledged to have been members of the gang who perpetrated the horrendous execution of 24 Iraqi civilians, charges against six of the gangsters were dropped, one was acquitted, and the judge of the US kangaroo court recommended that the rank of the squad leader be reduced. This was the only 'sentence' for having murdered 24 Muslims. Even the prosecutor had requested only a maximum sentence of three months if convicted. But the judge spared the murderer from even the mockery of three months requested by the prosecutor. Also, examine Aafiyah's case in the light of the U.S. agent who recently shot dead two Pakistani intelligence agents in Pakistan. He was arrested and tried in Pakistan. But pressure from the US succeeded in his safe return to America. There is the incumbent need for Muslims to protest, demand Aafiya's release, and supplicate often to Allah Azza Wa Jal to create the circumstances for her release. We believe that currently the Taliban are in the best position to demand Aafiyah's release. In the clandestine negotiations presently underway between the U.S.A. and the Taliban in Qatar, one of the conditions stipulated by the Taliban is the release of five of their men from Guantanamo detention facility. We hope and pray that they will increase their list to SIX by including sister Aafiyah's name. Those in Pakistan who have contact with the Taliban should vigorously put this proposal to them. Aafiyah's sister was recently in South Africa on an awareness campaign for her sister. We believe that more constructive than such visits to foreign countries is for her family to communicate with the Taliban, and for protest action in Pakistan which seethes with anti-American feeling. May Allah Ta'ala have mercy on this miserable Ummah wallowing in abject humiliation due to its kufr, fisq and fujoor. QUESTION In a booklet, 'Islam Is', which is recommended by several prominent Ulama of South Africa, the following appears: "There is no such thing as "holy war" in Islam or in the Qur'an. This is a mistranslation of the word. Holy war is carried out to forcibly subject others to one's religious beliefs. This is expressly forbidden in Islam. Fighting in war could be jihad, but under what conditions? Muslims fight in defence, but so do others. ….War is atrocious and can never be holy." It appears that the author is a modernist who has painted an erroneous picture of Islam's concept of Jihad. Please comment. ANSWER Killing even an animal is 'atrocious'. But such killing becomes holy if executed in obedience to the command of Allah Ta'ala, e.g. Qur'baani and Aqeeqah. Killing a human being is 'atrocious', but such killing becomes ibaadat and holy if a human being is killed for his irtidaad or for murder. Obedience to the command of Allah Ta'ala transforms the 'atrocity' into a holy act. Undoubtedly, the author of the booklet speaks with a westernized colonized brain. His idea of Jihad is designed to appease his western masters. What he has written about Jihad is plain ghutha (rubbish). Since he has failed to find any supportive grounds in the Qur'aan and Sunnah for his concoction, he proffers furoo'i (detailed) issues which are unrelated to the concept of Jihad. What he has tendered as proof for his misconception are the rules applicable to Jihad, e.g. women, children and monks should not be killed; Jihad should not be for wealth and territory, etc. These issues whilst of great importance, are not the concept of Jihad. When a Jihad campaign is undertaken then the rules have to be observed. According to the Qur'aan and the Sunnah, the primary Jihad is the offensive Jihad, not the defensive Jihad. A defensive Jihad is fought when the enemy attacks. But the primary, true Jihad is the Jihad which is the consequence of the rejection of the Da'wah of Islam by the non-Muslim nation when the Islamic Army presents the Da'wah on its uninvited entry into the territory of the aliens. If the Khalifah of Islam, despite having the power to wage war with the objective of bringing the non-Muslim state under Islamic domination, refrains from initiating Jihad in the face of rejection of the Da'wat, then he is guilty of treachery. He will be in violation of his obligation which stems from his position as the Vicegerent of Allah Azza Wa Jal. According to the Shariah, it is the duty of the Khalifah to despatch his army to invite the non-Muslim rulers of their countries to embrace Islam. If they refuse, they will be presented with two options: (1) Hand over the reigns of power to the Khalifah and become his subjects. OR (2) War. There is no third option. Islam will not be forced on to the subjects. However, if they opt for retaining their religion, they are allowed to do so, but they will be the subjects of the Islamic state and will have to pay the Jizyah tax. Thus, in the primary Jihad which is an offensive war, three demands will be put to the non-Muslim rulers: (1) Embrace Islam, or (2) Submit to Islamic domination and become the subjects of the Islamic state, or (3) Jihad (HOLY WAR). The author of the booklet is bereft of understanding of the Deen, hence he disgorged much ghutha in his article. Salaat is holy; Zakaat is holy; Hajj is holy; Fasting is holy; Tilaawat of the Qur'aan is holy, and all commands of the Shariah are holy if executed for the Sake of Allah Ta'ala. Similarly Jihad which is waged for the Pleasure of Allah Ta'ala is undoubtedly Holy War, hence the term Fi Sabeelillaah (In the Path of Allah) is primarily used for Jihad. The Seat of the Khilaafat during the time of the first three Khulafa-eRaashideen was Madinah. What type of 'defensive' war were the Sahaabah engaged in on the shores of the Atlantic in the west, and in Afghanistan and the borders of China in the east? What type of 'defensive' war was it to initiate hostilities with non-Muslim rulers thousands of miles from Madinah? The author of the essay wrote pure bunkum. The Qur'aanic aayaat and innumerable Ahaadith all speak of the virtues of the Primary Jihad, the offensive Jihad. If it was not for Islam's offensive Jihad, today all of us would have been worshipping Buddha, Krishna, the Cross and a million idols. Did the kuffaar Berbers of Morocco plan to attack Madinah to warrant Jihad against them? Did the Turks threaten war against the Islamic state? What then took the Sahaabah to Constantinople? The same question applies to all the lands of the kuffaar brought under Islamic domination in rapid succession during the reign of the Khulafa-eRaashideen. The prominent South African Ulama have rendered the Deen a disservice by recommending a work of rubbish. Perhaps they never even read the article. After the Battle of Balakot, a number of battles were fought against the British invaders of India. In 1856 a meeting of the senior Ulama of India was convened. Amongst others, those who attended were Maulana Ja'far Thaneseri, Maulana Wilaayat Ali (these two were survivors of the Battle of Balakot), Haji Imdaadullah, Maulana Muhammad Qasim Nanotwi, Maulana Rashid Ahmad Gangohi and Hafiz Dhaamin. At this meeting, Maulana Nanotwi said: "Are you not aware that the British are sitting on our heads. They have laid their snare throughout the country. Be prepared for decisive battles. We shall either be cut to pieces or fight them to the end. We shall not allow the British to occupy this country." One of those attending the meeting said: "Hadhrat, we are few in number and limited in resources." Hadhrat Nanotwi responded: "Is our number less than the number of the Mujahideen of Badr? The spirit of Jihad was kindled in the hearts of those who attend- ed. It was firmly resolved to free India from the clutches of the British. Two major battles took place. One was the War of Independence under Haji Imdaadullah, and the other was The War of the Red Shawls under Maulana Mahmudul Hasan who was the student of Maulana Qasim Nanotwi. After this battle about 14000 Ulama were executed by the British. The Battle of Independence was fought on two fronts: One in Ambala under the command of Maulana Ja'far Thaneseri, and the other in Shamli under the command of Haji Imdaadullah. As Allah Ta'ala willed, the battle was lost, but not the spirit of Jihad of our Ulama. They did not surrender to the British. After this battle, the British viceroy to India requested his ministers and counsellors to submit a report on how to entrench British rule in India. One of the leading British politicians, Dr.William Yur, stated in his report: "Of the entire population of India, the Muslims are the most spirited and vigilant. The Battle of Independence was fought by Muslims. As long as Muslims cherish in them the spirit of Jihad we shall not be able to vanquish them. It is therefore imperative to first and foremost snuff out this spirit by eliminating the Ulama and the Qur'aan." Giving expression to this advice, the government in 1861 launched a campaign to destroy copies of the Qur'aam. 300,000 copies of the Qur'aan Majeed were set alight by the government. An English historian writes in his memoirs: "From 1864 to 1867, the British government firmly resolved to eradicate all the Ulama of India. From 1864 to 1867 heart-rending acts of brutality and torture were perpetrated against the Ulama. The British executed 14,000 Ulama by hanging them on trees. From Chandi Chowk of Delhi up to Khaibar, from every tree hung the body of an Aalim. Ulama were sewn into pig's skins and hurled into blazing furnaces. Their bodies were branded with hot copper rods. Gallows were set up in the courtyard of the Shahi Musjid of Lahore. Each day up to 80 Ulama were executed by hang- ing. Sometimes Ulama would be wrapped in sacks and dumped into the Rawi River of Lahore. A hail of bullets would then be pumped into the sacks. Thompson writes further: "As I reached my camp in Delhi, I saw a blazing fire. I saw a group of 40 naked Ulama being led to the fire. As I was witnessing this scene, another group of 40 Ulama were brought. In front of my eyes they were stripped of their clothing. Addressing them, the English commander said: "O Molvis! You will be roasted in this fire just as these Ulama are being roasted. To save yourselves, one of you should say that you were not part of the 1857 uprising. The moment I hear this proclamation, I shall release you all." Thompson continues: "By the Lord who has created me! Not a single one of the Ulama said anything of the sort. All of them were roasted on the fire. Then another group of forty was brought and roasted over the blazing fire. But not a single Aalim surrendered to the demands of the British". After the 1857 war, Maulana Ja'far Thaneseri was sentenced to death by hanging. He was transferred from the jail at Ambala to Lahore. Maulana wrote in his book, Kala Paami: "Our hands were manacled and our feet were shackled. Our clothes were in tatters. Iron bars were tied around our waists. In this state were we escorted on foot from Ambala to Kotlapit jail in Lahore. When we entered the jail, the superintendent remarked: "These Mullahs will not renounce their activities in this manner. This is not sufficient for them. Confine each one to a cage." A special iron cage was made for each one of us. Blood was flowing from our hands and feet. They pushed us into these cages made of sharpedged iron bars. Neither could we lie down nor sit in these cages. Then we were dumped into the dungeon of the prison. After sometime we were loaded on to a goods train and told that we would be hanged at the district jail in Multan. We were despatched to Multan in the same coach all the way. From Lahore to Mukltan it took three months. Along the way we would stop for ten days to a month. It was in the midst of summer with hot winds blasting against us. When we reached Multan station, we were blind-folded and escorted to the district jail. In the evening we were informed that we would be executed in the morning. That night we rejoiced and were unable to contain our happiness. The next morning an English officer approached us and asked: "Molvis! What is all this rejoicing about when soon you will be executed?" Hadhrat Thaneseri replied: "We are rejoicing because we are sinners. We always thought that we would die on our beds without knowing whether our sins have been forgiven or not. Now we shall die the death of a martyr. As you execute us, we shall find ourselves at Haudh-eKauthar by Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam). The white man replied: "Molvis! The death you are so passionate about will not come to you so easily. You will be sentenced to fourteen years each to the black waters." This is a reference to the Andaman Islands off the coast of India where prisoners were interred during the British rule. The British practically eliminated all the Ulama of India. By 1867, not a single Madrasah remained. In 1601 when the British first arrived in India there were a thousand Madrasahs in Delhi alone. But the British did not leave a single Madrasah in the entire India. Madrasah Rahimiyyah, the Madrasah of Shah Waliyullah was bulldozed to the ground by the English." QUESTION You have mentioned that Pakistan is a non-Muslim country. Have you ever read the Constitution of Pakistan? The first few paragraphs in the Preamble read: "Whereas sovereignty over the entire Universe belongs to Almighty Allah alone, and the authority to be exercised by the people of Pakistan within the limits prescribed by Him is a sacred trust; And whereas it is the will of the people of Pakistan to establish an order:- Wherein the State shall exercise its powers and authority through the chosen representatives of the people; Wherein the principles of democracy, freedom, equality, tolerance and social justice, as enunciated by Islam, shall be fully observed; Wherein the Muslims shall be enabled to order their lives in the individual and collective spheres in accordance with the teachings and requirements of Islam as set out in the Holy Quran and Sunnah;" Do you think this is the Constitution of a non-Muslim country? Q. You described the Pakistani judiciary as a 'modernist judiciary'. What do you mean by that? Our justices are sincere Muslims. Are you trying to malign them? A. We do not know what your definition of 'malign' is. If a spade is called a spade, it will not be said that the spade is being maligned. The term 'modernist' is a mild epithet for the 'Muslim' judges operating in a secular court. Whilst we have labelled the judges in the courts of Napakistan 'modernist', the Qur'aan Majeed says about them: "Those who do not decree according to that (Shariah) which Allah has revealed, verily they are kaafiroon." 'Modernist' in this context means 'kaafiroon' because secular judges do not decide cases in accordance with the Shariah. The issue is not related to sincerity. It is a simple issue of the judges deciding in terms of kufr law. They dispense 'justice' according to man-made laws, not according to the Law of Allah Ta'ala, hence the Qur'aan excommunicates them from the fold of Islam. ANSWER Firstly, it will be appropriate to refer to the country with the appellation Napakistan (the Impure State). As far as Napakistan is concerned, the couple of Islamically sounding statements in its preamble are all canards – false and blatant lies. The country was never an Islamic state from its very inception – from day one when it came in to existence under British patronage. It was only during the time of Ziyaul Haq that a semblance of Islamic law came into existence briefly. As far as the Shariah is concerned, the constitution of Napkistan is a scrap of paper. The statements in its preamble are all hypocritical. There is absolutely no attempt to accord practical expression to Islam – to the Qur'aan and the Sunnah. In fact, those who do make such attempts are brutally apprehended by the satanic ISI and with the full approval and connivance of the government of Napakistan and its evil military. Innumerable proclaimers of Lailah illallaahu Muhammadur Rasulullah have been handed over to the brutal kuffaar of the U.S.A. to enable those shayaateen to torture and brutalize the hijacked Mu'mineen who are subjected to horrendous sufferings in America's black-hell detention facilities such as Guntanamo, Bagram and in many other place. Do you perhaps know Dr. Aafiyah Siddiqui? Do you know what has happened to that unfortunate sister and her three little children? And do you know who perpetrated the horrendous crimes against them? If you pretend to be blissfully unaware of this sister's case, the articles appearing in this issue of Al -Haq will shatter your pretence. The kuffaar rulers and the kuffaar security forces of your Napakistan will answer and suffer on the Day of Qiyaamah for the brutality they have inflicted and are inflicting on countless members of Rasulullah's Ummah. A few deceptive statements in a scrap of paper called 'constitution' neither transform a country into a Muslim/Islamic land nor are westernized clichés which adorn the constitution evidence for Napakistan being a Muslim country. You lack understanding of the meaning of an Islamic country. An Islamic country is a land wherein the law of Allah Azza Wa Jal is implemented. Thus the Qur'aan-e-Hakeem states: "When We establish them on earth (i.e. grant them political power), they establish Salaat, Zakaat and command righteousness and prohibit evil." From its very inception, Napakistan was not governed by the Shariah. 'Democracy' mentioned in the preamble is a kufr concept. The Islamic system of government is not democracy. Western democracy cannot be fused with the Islamic system which is the Shariah. The quotient of such satanic fusion will not be the Law of Allah Azza Wa Jal. Whilst a parliament consisting of a couple hundred baboons and asses formulates the laws of a democracy, the Shariah was formulated by Allah Azza Wa Jal and revealed from Looh Mahfooz to Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) who handed it to the Sahaabah from whom it has reached us by way of reliable and authentic transmission from generation to generation. The system of government in Napakistan is a western system – the socalled democracy. A cursory glance at the law books of the country will convince any right-minded observer that the law system of Napakistan is the very antithesis of the Shariah. The judiciary is a kufr system – the western system. The courts in Napakistan operate in exactly the same manner and style as do the courts in the western kuffaar countries. Everything from A to Z in the judiciary is the kufr system. How can the rulers and the judicial officers of Napakistan be Muslim when the Qur'aan declares: "Those who do not decree according to that (Shariah) which Allah has revealed, verily they are the kaafiroon." The whole miserable lot constituting the government and judiciary in Napakistan come within the scope of this Qur'aaaic stricture. Riba, liquor, gambling, zina, prostitution, music, haraam entertainment institutions, homosexuality, lesbianism, vice and immorality in general are the order in Napakistan. Jinnah and his clique of British servants had inserted the Islamicsounding terms in the constitution to dupe the Ulama and sincere Muslims. Without their support, perhaps partitioning of the sub-continent would not have taken place. Since there was no precedent of this kind of deception, those Ulama who supported the unIslamic 'Muslim' League to achieve its objective of a separate state, had been ensnared by Jinnah. Whilst the concept of a separate Islamic state was 100% correct, joining ranks with the fussaaq who operated the Muslim League was 100% erroneous. The Mashaaikh have said that a faasiq will sell you – betray you – for a piece of bread. That was precisely what Jinnah, Liaquat Ali Khan and the conglomerate of fussaaq and fujjaar who held sway in Napakistan did. The idea that the new country would be a truly Islamic land governed by the Shariah was a pipedream – a distant mirage which had broken the hearts of the senior Ulama who had supported the creation of Pakistan. Lamenting the reality of the pipedream, Hadhrat Mufti Muhammad Shafi (rahmatullah alayh) sates in the introduction of his Ma-aariful Qur'aan: "Fifteen years and three months have lapsed since I have arrived here. The narrative of what I have seen in this time is lengthy. The objectives for which Pakistan was beloved and pursued and for which everything had been sacrificed, the changing governments have caused these objectives to be nothing more than a pleasant dream. Effecting any Deeni change or substantial reformation via the government was incrementally being relegated into the realm of dreams." There is absolutely nothing to justify calling Napakistan an Islamic or Muslim country. A non-Muslim court banning pork does not transform a country into an Islamic state. The judges of Napakistan are in open conflict and rejection of the Qur'aan by administering 'justice' in terms of the secular laws of the country. In consequence they have eliminated their Imaan and come fully within the glare of the aforementioned Qur'aanic verse in which Allah Ta'ala describes them as being Kaafiroon. Napakistan is at war with Allah Ta'ala since its economy is a capitalist riba system for which the Qur'aan declares war. A country at war with Allah Azza Wa Jal can never be an Islamic country. In fact, there is no difference between Napakistan and India In conclusion we must reiterate that when a government and its security forces who claim to be 'Muslim' hound, hijack and hand over reciters of the Kalimah to brutal kuffaar such as the U.S.A. for subjection to torture, then such illegitimate rubbishes can never be Muslims. They are worse than khanaazeer In an 84 page report on the war in Afghanistan, a serving Lieutenant-Colonel in the United States Army, who had spent time in Iraq and Afghanistan with both conventional and Special Forces troops, states: "Senior ranking US military leaders have so distorted the truth when communicating with the US Congress and American people in regards to conditions on the ground in Afghanistan that the truth has become unrecognizable. This deception has damaged America's credibility among both our allies and enemies, severely limiting our ability to reach a political solution to the war in Afghanistan. It has likely cost American taxpayers hundreds of billions of dollars Congress might not otherwise have appropriated had it known the truth, and our senior leaders' behavior has almost certainly extended the duration of this war. The single greatest penalty our Nation has suffered, however, has been that we have lost the blood, limbs and lives of tens of thousands of American Service Members with little to no gain to our country as a consequence of this deception." "As part of a visit I made to the men of 1st Squadron, 32nd Cavalry (1-32 CAV) in January 2011, I accompanied one of their patrols to the northern-most check point American forces go in Kunar Province, "Check Point Delta." There was an ANP station there which had reported being attacked by the Taliban two and a half hours prior to our arrival. Through the interpreter I asked the police captain (see photo below) where the attack had originated, and he pointed to the side of a near-by mountain. "What are your normal procedures in situations like these? Do you form up a patrol and go after them? Do you periodically send harassing patrols after them? What do you do?" As the interpreter conveyed my questions, the captain's head wheeled around abruptly to look at the interpreter and then shot a look back to me with an incredulous look on his face and literally laughed in my face, and said, "No! We don't go after them; that would be dangerous!" "
