Our Imaam trims his beard. Is Salaat valid behind him? Should I rather perform Salaat at home?
Answer
Salaat is valid even behind a faasiq. You should therefore join the jamaat for Fardh Salaat. It is not permissible to absent yourself from the Musjid on account of the fisq and fujoor of the miscreant imaam. It is Waajib for the trustees to dismiss the faasiq.
