At the nikah, the mehr was not mentioned. Is the Nikah valid?
Answer
Mehr is compulsory. While the Nikah is valid even if the Mehr is not stipulated, the wife has the right to refuse going to her husband as long as he does not pay the Mehr. It is the Waajib right of the wife.
