What or who is a zindeeq?

A Zindeeq is a class of kuffaar. He professes to be a Muslim and believes that he is a Muslim. He performs Salaat and generally acts as a Muslim. However, he interprets and misinterprets the Qur'aan and Hadith in such a way which conflicts with the beliefs and practices which the Shariah teaches us. He subjects the tenets of Islam to his personal opinion and fabricates ideas which are in conflict with the teachings which have come down to us from the time of Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam). Most of these modernist juhhaal and even many westernized bootlicking molvis are zindeeqs.
