I have not made my Waajib Qur'baani for 5 years. Will one cow suffice to cover the Qadha? Five shares will be Qadha and two shares Nafl.
Answer
Qadha is valid of only a whole animal. A bull/cow will be valid for only one Qur'baani. The seven shares will not be applicable to Qadha Qur'baani. For 5 Qadha you have to slaughter 5 sheep / goats or 5 full cows. Alternatively, the value of the animals may be given as Sadqah.
