Question
If the silver is less than the Zakaat nisaab, but one has other assets as well, will Zakaat still be payable on the silver?
Answer
The nisaab will be valid once the person has its value by adding the value of silver, gold and cash. Even if the silver is not the value of nisaab, its value has to be added to the other assets to make up the nisaab.
