Although pictures of inanimate objects are not haraam, it is not permissible to dress children with garments bearing pictures even of inanimate objects because in so doing, one will be imitating the styles of the kuffaar. Our dress styles for even our infants should be simple. Even little children should be identified as Muslims from their dress.
