If in a locality there are only 6 Muslim males, how many are required for Jamaat Salaat? Can the same person call the Athaan and be the Imaam?
Answer
For the daily Salaat, two persons constitute a Jamaat. The same person may call the Athaan, recite the Iqaamah and lead the Salaat.
