Is it permissible to listen to Qiraa't over the radio while working and attending to customers in the shop?
Answer
It is not permissible to listen to the radio Qiraa't while you are engaging in activity with others. It is Waajib to maintain silence and listen to the Qiraa't. However, you may listen to Qiraa't if you are engaging in such work which does not require you to speak. Whilst your hands will be working, you will be able to remain silent and listen.
