I used to hold Mufti Ebrahim Desai in high regard, but now I have read that The Majlis has criticized him. Please throw some light on this issue?

Whatever 'light' is required is provided with each criticism we publish. Anyhow, know that Mufti Ebrahim Desai has joined the league of Ulama-e-Soo'. He has become a liberal and issues many zigzag baatil fatwas.
