No one's rights are first. The rights of everyone have to be fulfilled. If for example, the parents have an issue with their daughter-in-law, therefore, they instruct their son not to provide maintenance or not to provide his wife with a separate apartment to live in, then in this case the man may not obey his parents. He has to refuse with utmost respect and fulfil the rights of his wife.

And, for example if the wife due to hasad or for any other reason, does not want her husband to spend on his parents or on his sisters, then it will not be lawful for him to obey his wife. He has to fulfil the rights of his parents and sisters.

Everyone's rights have to be seen to and fulfilled. No one has priority of rights.
