A woman became pregnant by committing zina. However, the man married her before birth of the child. Will the child be legitimate and will he/she inherit in the father's estate?
Answer
If the child is born six months after the date of the Nikah, he/she will be regarded legitimate and inherit. If the child is born less than six months from the date of the Nikah, he/ she will not inherit in the estate of the father.
