Question

If several wasiyyats (bequests) were made which cannot be accommodated by the third value of the deceased‟s estate, how will the wasiyyat‟s be discharged?

Answer

The Fardh acts will first be attended to. If after paying for the Fardh acts the third is consumed, then the other wasiyyats will fall away. If the wasiyyat consists of more than one Fardh act, the Fardh of greater importance will be accorded priority.
