Question
My father bought a sheep for Qur‟baani. However, he passed away on 10th Zil Hijjah at 4 a.m. Is it waajib to make Qur‟baani for him with this specific sheep?
Answer
The animal becomes part of the estate of the deceased. With the permission of all the baaligh heirs, Qur‟baani of the animal may be made for the deceased.
