When I visit my in-laws, I do not make salaam to my sisters-in-law. They become very annoyed. What should I do?
Answer
Do what the Shariah commands, and that is to refrain from greeting your sisters-inlaw. Do not be concerned with their offense and annoyance. Be concerned with the Pleasure and Displeasure
Ta‟ala. This is the test for which we are in this dunya. In the pursuit of the Pleasure of Allah Ta‟ala, confound all and everything else. And that is attained only by total submission to the Shariah.
