Question
It is the season for visiting the three Harams - Musjidul Aqsa, Madina and Makkah. Ihraam is donned from Musjidul Aqsa. Is there merit in this? The Dead Sea area is also visited.
Answer
In fact, in this era of fitnah, fasaad and with so much suffering prevailing in the Ummah, it is not permissible to undertake a journey to any of the 3 Harams. Visiting the Dead Sea region which is an abode of La'nat, is an aggravated sin.
