My deceased father left all his wealth for me, his daughter although I have a brother and my mother (his wife). Is it permissible for me to take all his wealth?
Answer
Whatever money and other assets your father left belong to all his heirs who are his wife, children and parents if any. Regardless of what he said to you, the money does not belong to you. You are entitled to only your share.
