A Muslim man committed zina with a kaafir woman. The child born of this relationship was given to the Muslim biological father. During infancy, the child died. What is the Shariah's position regarding the Janaazah service for this child?
Answer
This illegitimate child is related to only his/her kaafirah mother, not to the Muslim biological father. Islamic rites of Janaazah will not be accorded to this child.
