Will a non-Muslim become a Muslim by reciting the Kalimah without understanding it or anything of Islam?
Answer
It is essential to explain to the non-Muslim person the meaning of the Kalima and the basic beliefs of Islam. Only if she accepts the beliefs, will the recitation of the Kalimah be valid.
