Is it permissible for a 76 year old lady to go for Hajj with a group of women? The tour operator is a nonmahram male. Is it permissible for Shaafis?
Answer
It is not permissible for the 76 year old lady to go for even Fardh Hajj without a mahram. The tour operator is a ghair maharam. In this era, even according to the Shaafi' Math-hab it will not be permissible even if the male is not with the group.
