Question
My mother buys food with interest and other haraam money. If I refuse to eat, it creates conflict. What should I do?
Answer
It is not permissible to eat the food of your mother since she procures it with haraam interest money. In this matter conflict is unavoidable. You will just have to politely and respectfully explain why you cannot eat the food. You will have to tolerate her annoyance
for the sake of Allah Ta'ala. What will you do if your mother adds arsenic or a deadly poison to your food? Will you eat it?
