To what extent is it incumbent to observe equality of expenses for children.

Question

To what extent is it incumbent to observe equality of expenses for children. If I buy a pair of shoes for one child, is it necessary to buy shoes for all the children even if they are not in need?

Answer

Equality should be observed in gifts, not in necessary expenses. The needs of children vary, hence spending on them too will vary.
