A needy friend asked me for a loan. I gave him a sum of money with the intention of it being my Zakaat payment although I did not mention my intention to him. I mentioned that the money was a gift for him. After some time he insisted on repaying me. Due to his insistence, I accepted the money. Was my Zakaat discharged? What is the status of the repaid money in my possession?
