A man committed adultery with his sister-in-law. Is his nikah still valid?
Answer
Adultery with the sister-inlaw does not invalidate his nikah. Such evil is the consequence of not observing purdah. Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said that a man is the „Maut" (Death) of his sister-in-law. Purdah for the brother-in-law is more emphasized than for complete strangers.
