Not so long ago there was a function at the Nurul Islam Masjid in Lenasia. The title of the function was: Qari Yousuf Noorbhai Awards. It was sponsored by Jusa, Radio Islam and some other modernist groups. What is the Shariah‟s view?

It was a haraam, satanic, merrymaking function of riya and takabbur. The organizers are deviates and agents of shaitaan. The four groups who sponsored the stupid function of riya are devils in human form. The very title is laughable for its stupidity. The brains of the organizers of this stunt are vermiculated with shaitaani urine. Shaitaan has jolted their brains out of equilibrium, hence they gravitate to only khuraafaat (nonsense - haraam nonsense).
