Is it permissible for the husband to enter the grave to assist with the burial of his wife? Can he carry her Janaazah?
Answer
When it is permissible for other males to carry the Janaazah of a woman, what doubt do you have about the husband also carrying? Regarding entering the grave, only the Mahram males of the woman may enter, not the husband. However, if mahrams are not available, then the husband and others have no option but to attend to the burial.
