My boss has a policy of „no work no pay‟. He does not pay sick-leave nor holiday pay. What is the Shariah‟s view in this regard?
Answer
If the „no work no pay‟ is a term of the work contract, then you will not be entitled to pay for days you do not work. One is paid for work, not for not working. The rules of the kuffaar are not binding on Muslims.
