Question
Local abattoirs use a cone system where the chicken is place upside down for a few minutes before slaughter, causing the blood to rush to the brain and for the lungs to supposedly collapse. Is it permissible to eat such meat or is it termed as a sick animal?
Answer
Do not consume such sickened chickens. The system is haraam and cruel.
