Only to maintain family ties, will it be permissible to attend a wedding function where haraam acts take place. However, I shall sit aloof and not participate in anything which is not permissible.
Answer
It is haraam to attend a wedding reception where any haraam act takes place. Family ties may not be maintained on the basis of haraam. Attending such a haraam function is in fact participation in haraam. Your every minute at the haraam function will be participation in haraam.
