The customer specified that he/she wants the meat of his/her Qur'baani animal.

Question

The customer specified that he/she wants the meat of his/her Qur'baani animal. However, the butcherman gives meat randomly from any carcass. Is this permissible?

Answer

If a customer has specified that he/she wants the meat of his/her animal which was slaughtered, then it is compulsory to comply. If other meat is given, then while this will be wrong and sinful, the Qur'baani remains valid.
