A wife, during her Maradhul Maut (Last Illness of Death), waived the Mehr debt of her husband. The Mehr is a huge amount. Is the waiver valid?
Answer
No, it is not valid. The husband is liable to pay the full Mehr. All heirs have their shares in the Mehr amount.
