Is it permissible to be an executor of my deceased father's will which is in conflict with the Shariah?
Answer
If the will is not according to the Shariah, then it will be a kabeerah sin to be his executor. It is haraam. However, if it is possible to override the will practically by ensuring that the distribution is in accordance with the Shariah, then you may remain as executor.
