Two years ago my husband gave me one Talaaq, but retracted it. Now after two years he pronounced Talaaq twice, but he quickly retracted. A maulana says that the retraction is valid. Is our Nikah still valid?
Answer
The moment your husband gave you 2 Talaaqs, all three became valid and the nikah terminated immediately. You are not his wife.
You are definitely not the wife of the person whom you believe is your husband because he has already issued three Talaaqs. Only if you marry another man and if he gives you Talaaq, will you be able to remarry your former husband.
