Are Bukhaari jalsahs Sunnat?

Question

Are Bukhaari jalsahs Sunnat?

Answer

Bukhaari Shareef came into existence centuries after Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam). It does not have the slightest resemblance with the Sunnah. This custom too has outlived whatever good utility the former Ulama had perceived in it. It is now a spiritually and morally destructive custom which should be discontinued.

This jalsah custom has spiralled totally out of control. It has degenerated to the degree of sinking into the realm of pure shaitaaniyat, and this is evidenced by even females being invited to the jalsah. Allah Ta'ala has described females as Habaailush Shaitaan (Traps of Shaitaan). This confirms the shaitaaniyat of these jalsahs which are organized in the name of the deen when in reality the motivating force is the nafs and Iblees. The Ulama of today are enmeshed in wasteful and spiritually ruinous practices. They are rendering the Ummah a great disservice with their wasteful jalsahs of riya, takabbur and israaf. A new evil, a major sin, which has been introduced by the ulama is to invite even women

to jalsahs.

Hanafi Math-hab, Janaazah Salaat is not permissible inside the Musjid proper.
