Do I have to pay Zakaat on my pension fund? The mioney is not accessible presently.
Answer
If the policy was compulsory, then Zakaat is not payable at all. Only when the money comes into one's possession will it become Zakaatable.
If the policy was voluntary, not compulsory, then Zakaat has to be paid on the amount one has ploughed into the haraam policy.
