Some organizations pay their Zakaat collectors 20% commission from Zakaat funds. Is this permissible?
Answer
It is haraam. It is not permissible to give a Zakaat collector any commission from the Zakaat funds. These organizations are abusing and misappropriating Zakaat funds.
