If I pay my wife‟s Zakaat with my own money and with her consent, can I give it to her poor father who is struggling? Also to her grandmother?
Answer
It is not permissible to pay your wife‟s Zakaat to her parents. She may give her Zakaat to her brother, uncle, sister and aunt. She may not give her Zakaat to her grandmother.
