Is it permissible for a man to give his own Zakaat to his ex-wife and family members?
Answer
A man may give his exwife Zakaat if she qualifies for it. However, it is advisable that he should give it to her via someone else. A person may not give his own Zakaat to parents/grandparents and to his children/grandchildren. He may give to any other family members.
