The new marriage law of Taaghoot has no affect on our Nikahs. The law merely aids murtaddah women to usurp money from their exhusbands. The courts of Taaghoot will assist the murtaddah (female who has abandoned Islam) to claim maintenance from the ex-husband beyond the Iddat period.
