Question
I entrusted by Qur‟baani obligation to a supposedly well-respected member of our Muslim society. He delivered the meat 10 days after Eid. The meat was smelly, leaking and unfit for eating. Can I ask for my money to be refunded? Is my Qur‟baani valid?
Answer
Yes, you may demand that he refunds your money. However, in this case it will not be permissible for you to use the money. You will have to make Sadqah of the money.
