Question
Will it be permissible for an Aalim of the Haqq to participate in Ansaar Foundation’s Hajj Seminar if he will only deliver his bayaan and thereafter immediately leave without joining in the merrymaking activities?
Answer
It is highly irregular and not permissible for an Aalim of Haqq to enhance the status and to accord credibility to an assembly of deviates with his presence. Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) forbade being present at a gathering of the Ahl-e-Baatil. Mere presence without even active participation at a gathering of baatil is also impermissible.
The ‘hajj’ seminar is a mockery of the Deen. It is in emulation of a troupe of western clowns mounting and descending the stage, one after the other to deliver his/her disgorgement in the name of the Deen. From whence did they acquire this western kuffaar methodology of imparting ta’leem of Deeni masaa-il? It is a huge merrymaking farce. This clownish style makes clowns of the speaker at the baatil seminar. It is among the many spiritual diseases from which the Ulama of today suffer. Their objective is the dunya, not the Deen. Even the proclamation of the Haqq in methods which conflict with the Shariah is not permissible.
