I have to make qadha of Qur’baani of a number of years. If I make Qur’baani of a cow, will it suffice for Qadha of 7 years?
Answer
No! Qadha Qur’baani has to be a full animal (goat/sheep) or its price. For qadha it is not necessary to slaughter an animal. The price of an animal may be given to the poor. Also, qadha Qur’baani may be made at any time during the year.
