Question
The Imaam stopped the qiraa't just before the Sajdah aayat of Surah Alaq, and went into Ruku'. Is this proper?
Answer
It is improper. It is not permissible to omit the aayat merely to avoid making Sajdah. Avoiding Sajdah was the first and gravest sin of Iblees.
