Some kinds of sleeping pills cause a person to behave like an intoxicated person. Is it permissible to take such pills? Will Salaat be valid?
Answer
It is clear from the effects that the sleeping pills are intoxicants. It is haraam to take such pills. Performing Salaat in this state is not permissible. The Salaat will not be valid.
